I will work on sorting through my Sanguinarius News email folder and
get some news & events posted either tonight or tomorrow. Sorry about
not having a full newsletter recently. I estimate I'll start working
on getting it out regularly again in August. I'm going to be moving
toward the end of June, and in July, I'll be busy unpacking and stuff.
I'll try to get news and events posted in a timely manner, though.
Oh, the NAMI walkathon I was in today went great. I walked the whole
distance (two miles) and I'm very worn out, but it was a success. I
raised $340 and my team raised $545 for NAMI (National Alliance on
Mental Illness). My NAMI Walker page will be online until June 30th,
so if you didn't get a chance to donate before the walkathon, you
still have a chance! *smiles* It's at
http://www.nami.org/namiwalks08/KAN/sangi -- Even a few dollars will
be helpful -- every little bit counts. It goes to fight the stigma of
mental illness, and advocate, provide resources, etc., for people who
are mentally ill. If you want to know more, check out NAMI's website
at http://www.nami.org/ .
Be well, and hope you enjoy the articles!
