Sanguinarius News & Updates - 01 September, 2004
============================================================

Hello, again, from Sangi-Land. It's time for the News at Night.

I apologize for not having been able to get this out regularly for a
while. I've been fighting the usual: problems with my computer, a
million spam emails per day, and working to try to get various aspects
of my site up and running again, plus personal, offline stuff. As a
consequence, I haven't done a whole lot of information adding, but I
did manage to get a few things posted. I'm also going to be trying to
catch up on my email. *Sangi knocks on wood* Every time I say that,
though, something major seems to go wrong! Let's hope not this time.

I thought I'd share this link with you. It has nothing to do with
vampires, but it's cute as hell, a pic of mice and a snake, cuddline
together. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/gen/page431.html

Please check out the following link:

The Scream stolen from Museum
Monday, Aug 23, 2004
By DOUG SAUNDERS
From Monday's Globe and Mail

"London — The painting's expression of pure anguish is familiar to
millions, and something similar to it must have crossed the face of a
security guard in an Oslo art gallery yesterday as he was forced to
the floor by a man pointing a pistol to his head."

Police check tips in Scream theft
26 August 2004

"OSLO: Police are checking a flood of tips in the hunt for armed
thieves who stole Edvard Munch's The Scream and new details have
showed the robbers were more professional than first thought.

"Munch's Vampire was stolen in 1988 during the Calgary Winter
Olympics, another version of The Scream was taken from the National
Gallery on the opening day of the Lillehammer Winter Games in 1994 and
Sunday's robbery was staged during the Athens Summer Games."

Hmmm, is there a pattern here, folks? :>

Wiccans in the military seek more understanding, tolerance
BY RANDY MYERS
Knight Ridder Newspapers
Posted on Wed, Aug. 18, 2004

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - (KRT) - After U.S. military personnel pelted
American Wiccan servicemen and servicewomen in Iraq with bottles and
rocks as they worshipped in a sacred circle, the Pentagon turned to
Patrick McCollum of Moraga, Calif.

The chaplain, a national expert on the earth-based Wicca religion,
conjured a little Wicca 101 for the troops.

Blood-Drinkers In The Vampire Underground
(Posted by sethanikeem on Apr 09, 2004 - 06:58 PM)

"With the vampire Don Henrie presiding over bloodbaths and feedings on
SciFi's Mad, Mad House, there's no denying that blood plays a
significant role for at least some members of the modern vampire
community. Yet, despite its archetypal association with the
traditional vampire, blood is a touchy subject among modern vampires,
and the level to which living vampires involve themselves with this
taboo crimson substance has remained a carefully guarded secret, until
now..."

Dracula park to lure fans to Romania in May 2005
Posted: Thursday, March 18, 2004. 11:18am (AEDT)

"Diehard Dracula fans may be able to sate their thirst for
jelly-and-blood puddings by May 2005 when a theme park dedicated to
the infamous count is expected to open in Romania.

"The Balkan country wants to boost its ailing tourist industry by
luring visitors to the park near Bucharest, which would feature horror
rides, a vampirology institute and gory menus.

"The long-delayed plan to build a park is back on track after securing
private investment.

"But the park will cost more than double the original amount, head of
the Dracula Park SA firm Sorin Marica said, which owns the project."

Villagers question probe of ritual vampire slaying
By MATTHEW SCHOFIELD (Knight Ridder Tribune, April 3, 2004, 7:18PM)
HoustonChronicle.com

"MAROTINU DE SUS, Romania -- Before Toma Petre's relatives pulled his
body from the grave, ripped out his heart, burned it to ashes, mixed
it with water and drank it, he hadn't been in the news much.

"That's often the way here with vampires. Quiet lives, active deaths.

"Villagers here aren't up in arms about the undead -- they're pretty
common -- but they are outraged that the police are involved in a
simple vampire slaying. After all, vampire slaying is an accepted,
though hidden, bit of national heritage, even if illegal."

While this article speaks of slaying "undead" / folkloric vampires, it
is interesting because it shows a glimpse into a traditional Romanian
peasant practice which survives into the modern day.

6th Annual Eagle's Mere Gathering

The dates for the 6th Annual Eagles Mere Fall gathering are set for
October 28th through November 3rd 2004. It's a week long event, 6
nights/7 days, held at The Lodge in Eagles Mere, Pa.

Eagles Mere, situated high in the beautiful "Endless Mountains" of
northeastern Pennsylvania, was developed in the 1800's as a resort for
wealthy Philadelphians. They came to the mountain for the cool clean
air and crystal clear waters of the mile long lake. Eagles Mere
remains much the same as it did years ago when the pace of life was
more peaceful and less stressful.

The Lodge is a beautiful three-story log cabin that offers rustic
comfort for forty guests. It's accommodations include 9 bedrooms, 4
full bathrooms/2 half baths, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry
room. The lodge also offers a large hot tub that will seat eight
comfortably, a pool table, ping-pong table and television with VCR and
DVD player. All sleeping arrangements are dormitory style.

You will find open discussions on Meditation, Shielding, Feeding
Techniques and Safety issues at this years gathering. Tarot Card and
Runic readings will be available with "How To" classes being offered
on both. There will be walking tours of both the lake and the village,
where you can visit the local shops. And nightly visits to local
cemeteries in search of spirits. A Dragon's Egg hunt is planned for
Saturday afternoon followed by A Masquerade ball Saturday evening. Our
greatly anticipated "Scavenger Hunt" will be played Early Sunday
afternoon. More activities to be announced....

The cost of this year's fall gathering will be $185 per person and
covers your lodging, food and drink for the entire week or however
many day/nights you care to attend. The "Deadline" to reserve a spot
is September 15th 2004. And $200 after this date and at the door.

You may send a check or money order ~ Or ~ you may use Pay Pal (
keeperoflegends@... ). If you chose to send a check or money
order they need to be made "Payable" to: Mary M. LaPier and then sent to:

Grave Promotions
Attn: Mary M. LaPier
761 Plymouth Street
Stephens City, Virginia 22655

For those who wish to send installment payments, that is acceptable as
well. And if you start now you can avoid the additional cost for
payment after the set deadline.

To help with your travel plans Williamsport offers both a Greyhound
Bus terminal and an Airport. (The airport code is IPT) And
arrangements can be made to pick you up when your flight or bus
arrives. For those choosing to drive, Mairi will be sending directions
out a week or so before the date of arrival.

Pictures of the cabin and of Eagles Mere can be seen on this website:

If you are interested and should have any questions, you can e-mail
Mairi at keeperoflegends@...

Apologies to Father Todd and Don Henrie

I wish to apologize to Father Sebastian and Don Henrie for my harsh
words which I'd written on my site's main page (
http://www.sanguinarius.org/vampire.shtml ). At the time I posted
them I did not realize how harsh they were. I went to work on my
site, and re-read them and was shocked. I have deleted what was
written and added something I hope is much more acceptable. I've
included it below:

"There are several major segments of the vampiric community: psi
vampires, sanguinarians, lifestylers, and donors, among others. There
is a lot of fuss made about Vampyre lifestylers, which are only part
of the large and varied vampiric community. Not all vampires are
lifestylers, and not all lifestylers are vampires. There is nothing
wrong with dressing in vampyric fashions and and having vampiric
accessories (indeed, they can be very aesthetic!), sleeping in
coffins, etc., but many real vampires dress and live quite normally.
Some feel that the vampyre lifestyle is rather outlandish, and gives
the whole community a bad reputation, as outsiders look at them and
assume all vampires and vampiric people are "like that".
Unfortunately, it seems the flamboyant lifestylers are usually the
ones who seek and get the Media's attention, and they are the ones the
public ends up seeing and hearing about. Bear in mind to not look to
any one person or group as a representative of the whole community."

If I have hurt or irked either Father Todd or Don Henrie, I sincerely
apologize.

Vampire Hunter Gets Censored
(Follow-up to "Sanguinarius gets censored by vampire hunter", 15
September, 2003)

In a previous edition of Sanguinarius News & Updates, I ran a story
entitled, "Sanguinarius gets censored by vampire hunter", which
included the following information:

"This letter was recently received between 11pm July 9th and 9am July
10th:

"'Under the heading "HAPPENINGS IN THE NEWS: Man, Myth and Manchester"
the contents published about me amount to malicious falsehood which is
offensive and inappropriate. This report is deeply insulting,
upsetting and violates my rights. I ask that it is deleted as soon as
possible.

"'Yours faithfully,

"'The Right Reverend Seán Manchester, OSG
"'Bishop of Glastonbury (Ecclesia Vetusta Catholica)
"'England, United Kingdom"

"Since there was no explanation of what particular portions of the
blurb he found offensive, I don't know whether he found the mere
mention of the book offensive, or my opinions, or both. The original
blurb was based, in part, upon information found here:

"The pertinent part is:

"'Bishop Sean Manchester, the exorcist and vampire-hunter familiar to
readers of the Guardian Diary, is warning booksellers not to sell a
self-published pamphlet entitled "Man, Myth and Manchester". He
asserts that the pamphlet, by David Farrant, is defamatory; and, as
reported here before, booksellers may be liable to prosecution if they
can be shown to be aware of the defamatory nature of material they
stock.'"
_____________________________________________________________________

Dennis Crawford, the International Secretary for the Vampire Research
Society, contacted me with the following additional information, which
I was not aware of at the time I posted the story:

"Sanguinarius is missing the point, as did The Guardian newspaper,
which is the fact that the self-published pamphlets from David Farrant
amount to a hate campaign against Bishop Manchester, and each one of
these libellous items from Farrant contain stolen copyright text and
photographs from Seán Manchester's own works in print.

"However, the point is that whilst the bookseller in question
(Countrywide Books Ltd) provide all of David Farrant's illicit
pamphlets, they do not extend the same courtesy any of Seán
Manchester's titles. Even if you enter the ISBN for any of the
bishop's popular books you will not find them. In other words, they
have been censored.

"So what we have is a situation where the legal source of the stolen
copyright is purposely made "unavailable" by the online bookshop in
question, while the illegal pamphlets containing pictures and text
from Seán Manchester's books are advertised, distributed and sold by them.

"That is the crux of the problem. Everything else is a smoke-screen."

The Vampire Research Society also adds:

"With its customary ability to overlook the real injustice ~ in its
apparent promotion of materialism and the interests of the middle
classes ~ The Guardian newspaper somehow manages to omit all mention
of the fact that Geraldine Rose of Countrybookshop refuses to list any
of Seán Manchester's immensely popular books, while making available
online David Farrant's illicit and self-published pamphlets that
contain stolen text and photographs from Seán Manchester's works. So
you can buy stapled tracts, each of which contain a host of copyright
infringement, but the legitimate editions from where these have been
stolen are proscribed.

"Even if you enter the ISBN into Countrybookshop's online search
engine for any of Seán Manchester's six titles in print, the company
will tell you that they are "unavailable." Not true. Go to any other
online bookseller, including Amazon, and you will find they are very
much available. So we must ask ourselves why Geraldine Rose bans from
her online store the popular works of Seán Manchester, yet advertises,
promotes and supplies the hate-filled pamphlets, crammed as they are
with stolen copyright items, of an ex-convict who was sentenced to
almost five years imprisonment in the mid-1970s for desecration and
threatening people?

"Protests from Seán Manchester's publisher to Countrybookshop seem to
have fallen on deaf ears. Geraldine Rose has remained silent."

New E-Zine in the Works
by Cody Allison (a.k.a. Michael Rendier)

Some of you may know of me, and some of you have met me. I am the
founding member of House Rendier, a private online school of thought,
and more recently, the founder of a new organization in Atlanta, to be
known as the Order of the Crystal Phoenix, an intellectual order based
upon the principles of Loyalty, Integrity and Leadership. I am also
the creator of the Vampyre Accountability Group [VAG] on Yahoo! Groups.

Recently, there has been a rekindling of my interest with VAG by a
stateside chapterhead of the Illumanarti. An E-zine/online periodical
publication is being created and collaborated upon, dedicated to the
cause with which I created VAG. Accountability to ones self and the
responsibilities that leaders have to their people. I am personally
working on a section that will be for profiling each of the major
organizations, their codes of conduct and their collective missions
and ideas. I would like then, to invite your participation, as the
leaders of organizations, in this part of the publication. It will be
specifically for sharing information about each organization, their
leadership styles and their codes of conduct, such as the Black Veil.
This will be in the interests of sharing the knowledge that leaders
have for the purpose of education, and posssibly pointing newly
forming organizations in the proper directions. Not only will it be an
opportunity to share these things, but also the history and founding
concepts of each organization, and possibly even their membership
requirements, if membership is open. If you would like to participate,
please visit VAG
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vampyre_accountability) and join. You
will then be able to download, from the files section, a sample
profile and short list of the information that would be required for
publication. This file will be called "profile.doc" and will have a
short questionair to fill out, and submit to me via my email address:
mrendier@.... It will ask for information such as history,
mission, code/creed and other info for contacting the house. Any other
information, such as members and/or member bio's would be purely
voluntary, as the profile of the organization can and will be as
detailed as you may like. Most of the information that is already
available on the net is what may be required.

Not only will this help us come together and share our paths with each
other, it will also be a place for those in search of organizations or
teachers. You can find Vamp 101 on most websites. I would like to
begin doing an Org 101, methods for finding and feeling out a house
along with other educational resources. This would include the
initiation and formation of organizations with tips, tricks and
valuable experience from those who have done so.

Thank you for your time and your consideration of this proposal. I am
hoping to hear from many of you as well as seeing you in VAG.

The Vampire Community Guide

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS!

Greetings. I am trying to compile a comprehensive directory of
groups, websites, and resources within the vampire/vampyre community.
This directory is intended to be politic-free, and so no group,
organization, or individual who submits information will be rejected
based on who they are or are not affiliated with within the community.

You are receiving this email, because someone in the community feels
that you have something to contribute to this directory. If you are
interested in receiving a listing, read on.

Primary Goals:
To produce a comprehensive and up-to-date listing of every website,
e-list, message board, newsgroup, ezine, network, house, coven, church
or other group related to the vampire/vampyre subculture.

To publish this listing in book format and make this publication
available to the community for a reasonable price. The publication
will be time-sensitive and will most likely be updated with a new
edition each year. Portions of the publication may be made available
in electronic format as well.

What we need: founding members or directors of any vampire/vampyre
related group or resource should email me at
communityguide@... with "Resource Submission" in the subject
header. In the body of the email, please include the following
information:

Your name and/or nickname/Internet handle
Name of the group/resource/site
The group's URL address and/or realtime address
Location, or main area of operation (country, province, and/or state)
Main contact (if different from you)
Email address/contact information
Date group/resource was established (month and year are sufficient)
Founding members/directors (if they wish to be named)
If primarily a written resource, main language plus any secondary
languages/translations provided
A brief (no more than 500 word) description of the resource including
goals, vision, activities, and type of vampirism addressed (if relevant)

Optional, but appreciated: a sharp, high-resolution graphic (300 dpi
min.) to accompany the group's entry in the book. The sigil/logo of
the resource is preferred. JPEG or GIF format, please.

Entries in the guide will be arranged by topic and then
alphabetically. Groups that have multiple chapters will have a
primary entry followed by shorter, region-specific entries.

Topics include:

Websites (personal websites, resource sites, webrings, portal sites,
etc.,)
Elists (Yahoo!, MSN and all the rest)
Message Boards/Newsgroups
Membership Organizations (Houses, covens, orders, etc.,)
Gatherings (weekly study groups, small get-togethers, large events)
Publications (e-zines, magazines, annuals, books)
Other Media (radio, cable, Internet radio, etc.,)
Artists/Performers (musicians, graphic artists, djs, etc., with one or
more members who are an active part of the community or whose content
is specifically concerned with some aspect of the community)
Businesses (if you sell things for a profit, your info goes here.
Space in this section may be limited and in future there may be a
minimal charge for listings)

More on Submissions:
Multiple submissions from one individual are acceptable. However, if
they all concern closely related resources (ie, a website and its
accompanying elist, or a House and its official website), they may be
condensed into one entry.

Entries will be edited for spelling and grammar. If the content of an
entry is deemed unacceptable (sexually-explicit, excessively vulgar,
hate-mongering), it will be returned to the author with suggestions
for changes.

To all: This directory will only be as comprehensive as you help make
it to be, so please, if you are at all involved in the community,
regardless of your politics, opinions, or affiliations, please
consider sending an entry to me! Any and all groups will be
represented so long as they submit an entry.

Deadline for submissions is July 1, 2004. The email, once again, is
communityguide@...

Secondary goal:
In order to remove some of the stress that seems to be placed upon
belonging to a group, house, or other organization, the community
guide will also feature up to a dozen "spotlights" on individuals who
operate independently within the community and owe allegiance to no
specific group, house, order, etc.,. We will be taking
recommendations for this "Independent Voices" section along with
submissions for the community guide. Direct your recommendations to
the same email at community_guide@... but put
"Independent Voices" in the subject header.

For Independent Voices, please include the following:

The name or nickname/handle of the individual
A method of contacting the individual (email preferred)
How you know this person
How the individual has contributed to the community
Why you think he/she should be chosen as a focus for the Independent
Voices section of the community guide.

All recommendations will be considered. Those not selected for the
first edition of the community guide may be held for the next edition.

The deadline for Independent Voices recommendations is July 1, 2004.
Again, the email is communityguide@...

Thank you for your time and your consideration. If you know someone
else who has something to add to this directory, please pass this
notice on!

I need "sniffers" who can scout around and sniff out
vampire-community-related stories, events, news, and other community
goings-on for me. If you're interested in contributing an article,
information, etc., or helping out on a regular basis, please contact
me at Sang-News@...

-----

If anyone has any news or events they have planned and want me to
include the information in the next Sanguinarius News & Updates, or a
special announcement / time-sensitive release if it is before the end
of the month (you'll need to specify this), please send me the
information (who, what, when, where, why, etc.) in a brief write-up to
Sang-News@... and don't forget to post the information on
the Community Events Calendar, dang it. *smile* That's what it's
there for!

*** Also, if anybody wants to help me out with the Calendar, PLEASE
let me know! ***

SITE UPDATES:
============================================================

Removed the language translation box and the LE FastCounter from the
pages because they no longer worked. *sigh*
Update: I'll be re-adding the FastCounter. As it turns out, they
worked all along, but a site blocker program I had installed was
blocking the BCentral site and not telling me. :/

The Site Search box works again, enabling visitors to search through
the Vampire Support Page for specific terms. This is located in the
Navigation Menu on the left side of the site's pages. This is a
simple search function, nothing fancy like "Ask Jeeves", which can
handle natural language questions and the like. Just use search terms
or a phrase, and make sure you spell stuff correctly or you won't find
what you're looking for.

Updated the Sanguinarius.org and Sanguinarium.net FAQs at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/sang-faqs.shtml

The Vampiric Community Events Calendar (
http://www.sanguinarius.org/calendar/ ) is back online and fully
functional once more!

Added a new FAQ: "Does the popularity of vampires and vampire RPGs
cause people to believe they're real vampires and do violent things
(case in point: The Kentucky Vampire Cult)?" at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/faqs/index.php?qid=40&catid=3

Added a new FAQ: "Is it possible to be both a vampire and a
Christian?" at http://www.sanguinarius.org/faqs/index.php?qid=41&catid=3

Added a new FAQ: "How are we vampires ever supposed to feed with all
this safety crap?" at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/faqs/index.php?qid=42&catid=3

I'm putting together a new version of the State & Regional Groups
page. It will be automated. When I do get the Groups listing up and
running, I'll be sure to announce it here. At this time, it's
functional, but not official, as it does need some work done on it,
plus groups need to be added. You can preview it at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/directory/

Make a donation of $25 or more to Sanguinarius.org and have your name
listed on the Premiere Supporters page at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/premiere_supporters.shtml (Tips and
donations of any size are welcomed to help defray operating costs,
provide new and better resources and information, and help build and
develop the vampiric community. Go to
http://www.sanguinarius.org/donations.shtml for more info).

Added new material to Problems Vampires Have (
http://www.sanguinarius.org/problems-01.shtml ).

Added new material to Fun Vampires Have (
http://www.sanguinarius.org/vampfun-01.shtml ).

The Real Vampire Directory (
http://www.sanguinarius.org/cgi-bin/links/pages/ ) is still down until
I can get a chance to work on it and figure out how to get it working
when the cgi-bin has to be located one directory above the
"public_html" directory. I have found somebody who has has experience
installing the Links 2.0 script that powers the Directory, and can
install it the way it must be installed on the server I'm on. They
said they'd install it for $65 dollars, so now I need to scrape up the
money somehow, and the Directory will be back. *Sangi wanders over to
her PayPal account to check its balance, hoping there's enough*

SangiCam is back online! Catch me at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/SangiCam.shtml

#Sanguinarius ( http://www.sanguinarius.org/~irc/ ).

I have updated the servers and channels to connect to dal.net again on
the web-based chat applet found at the channel's home page, as well as
the logins at the bottom of each of sanguinarius.org's pages.

Added some fun, new sounds to the WAVs Page at
http://www.sanguinarius.org/~irc/sounds.shtml

Interested in visiting channel #Sanguinarius?

mIRC users can visit the channel by connecting to: mesra.kl.my.dal.net
(preferred server) and typing "/join #sanguinarius" (without the
quotes) or direct connect at:
http://irc.dal.net/sanguinarius

For those without a mIRC client, you can access the chatroom via the
web at:

regarding telling others, donors, and places to feed. (Added: 28
April, 2004)

* * *

Vampire Guide, Tips & Advice ( http://www.sanguinarius.org/guide.shtml )

- Added some information from Sammi about energy types to the
"Vampires & Psi Matters: Information on Prana & Energy" section.

- Also check out the Vampiric Community Message Board (see above),
which has many tips and helpful advice archived in the messages, plus
current discussions with lots of good information.

* * *

New Articles ( http://www.sanguinarius.org/articles.shtml )

- Added "The Donor Bill of Rights", by Belfazaar Ashantison, et al. A
document for both vampires and donors which specifies the rights of
donors and aims to protect donors and let vamps know their
limitations. (Added: 22 March, 2004)

- Added "#Vampireinn Log". The night we all invaded an RPG channel on
dal.net. (Added: 13 April, 2004)

Note: Due to the time ago that I posted them, these two articles are
now listed in their appropriate sections in the main articles index,
not in the "Newer Articles" section at the top of the page. You'll
just have to browse through the articles to find them. :)

More articles on the way, so stay tuned. I'm seeking articles about,
for and by donors.

neat stuff on the way. Go check them out.

Update: I just added a new Fantasy department, with dragons,
gargoyles, unicorns, figurines, statuettes, and decor. Also added a
bunch of new items such as a _very_ nice pewter dragon goblet,
gargoyle bookends, a beautiful silver and red coral "blood drop"
pendant (extremely nice -- you won't find this anywhere else!),
bracelet and some other silver & red coral or black onyx pendants, and
an exotic Art Deco gothic lady figurine with shawl. More goodies are
on the way, too, so check things out. If you like Halloween, I have a
really cute Halloween "spook" light you're sure to adore.

BOOK PICK OF THE MONTH:
============================================================

The Science of Vampires, by Katherine Ramsland
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0425186164/sanguinarius
From what I have read so far, this is an engrossing and entertaining
book to read. It delves into the scientific possibilities of how
vampires as described in folklore and fiction *could* exist within the
bounds of nature and science.

============================================================
SITES TO CHECK OUT:
============================================================

The Black Veil: Vampire Ethics
An article by Michelle Belanger containing the newest version of the
Black Veil, as well as it's history. The article also discusses the
history of the vampiric community, coming out, and recent publicity
such as _CSI: Vegas's_ recent vampire episode "Suckers". This is a
must-read and very interesting.
http://michellebelanger.com/page9.html

Kindred Nations
For kindred seeking to come together. A league of Nations: Angelkin,
Elf, Fae, Dragons, Otherkin, Therians (Were Creatures), and Vampires,
bound together in a mutual understanding that even though we are
diverse we are still Kindred. And as Kindred, there is much we can
teach each other.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KindredNations/

House Eclipse
This is the offical home of House Eclipse, a Vampire/Vampyre
House/organization located in the Greater Washington, D.C. and
Baltimore region. Here you will find information pertaining to modern
sanguinarian and psychic vampires, the vampyre lifestyle, vampire
myths, and legends, and various occult and magical information.

things vampyric.

Sanguinarius accepts tips. If you have found this resource helpful
and would like to make a donation, even a few dollars, please follow
this link: http://www.sanguinarius.org/donations.shtml to help defray
Sanguinarius.org's operational costs.

SANGUINARIUS SEEKING SUBMISSIONS:

I'm looking for articles on and for vampires / vampirism: blood,
psychic vampires, the Vampyre lifestyle, donors, etc.; contributions
to "Problems Vampires Have" (seeking stories and anecdotes, not just
problem lists), "Fun Vampires Have", the "Vampire Guide, Tips, &
Advice", and "Teen Vampires" -- send them in to
submissions@...! I'll give you credit and an email/page
link if you want, just let me know what to put and who to credit, and
include the section it's for in the Subject line.

If you have any news tidbits or announcements that you feel would be a
useful inclusion for the next newsletter (out next month), please feel
free to pass them on to me at Sang-News@... . I can't
possibly be aware of everything that is going on, or of interest to my
newsletter subscribers. Thanks!

The cutoff date for sending items to be included in the next edition
is two (2) days before the end of the month. Unless it is a special
announcement meant for immediate release (please say so). If you're
planning an event or gathering, please send in your information /
announcement at least three (3) months prior to the event date. This
will allow enough time for people to make plans and/or save up to
attend after the notice is released. (And don't forget to add it to
the Vampiric Community Events Calendar, too!)

If anybody is willing to help out with translating and mirroring
translated information from Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page,
please get in touch with me at Sanguinarius@... so we can
talk about this.
