Hi everyone,
I have uploaded 4 photos that (Lifeboat) Phil took on his flight. They are
listed under "Lifeboat Phil's" Album.
Simon
P.S. Weather sounds better for Thursday so Rain-Man and Fog-Monster will be
playing as well!

"penetrator" This sounds more and more dodgy...
As for the shortest night? I'm not sure if it's thursday or friday.
If anyone has a GPS you can normally find out the exact times of it.

Just looked this up and seems the longest day is the 21st which is Friday,
unless you are talking about Thursday night Friday morning, Dave could lead
us through the Edinburgh Overhead waving his torch or Simons penetrator if he
has paid for it?

Was this a fog monster on the west coast?
Or is it a perth fog monster?
If I get up on Thursday it may be another case of the fife flyer.
I fancy flying to E Fortune but I havent made it yet except in a Q
with a dodgy engine. The 3400ft flight over the forth at dusk with
the engine misfiring is one of those memorable moments in life.
Tam
Who needs landing lights when you've got BRIAN'S super duper glow sticks!!!
(eh dave?)
Anyhow I don't think they'll let me in as it's a very select club, although
I think they have joined my fog-monster club already (twice!)

The south side of the bonnybank strip has been cut.
The grass on the north side is two feet high!
Knackered lawnmower repaired to late to tackle this.
They are hoping the farmer will cut it for them.
South side is landable with care.
Hope to be flying on Thuursday evening.
And if its nice at Dornoch we may make Orkney?

Hi Dave,
Seen the write up in the SAC Plane Talking, good effort,
still think the best quote was, whats the plan then, find the biggest
rain storm and fly through the middle of it. Also noticed some fly
ins coming up for Dornoch, East Fortune and Plockton has anyone any
plans to go to any of these?
Regards Keith
DAVE!

Well I was up till 3 oclock watching the video of the Ireland trip
and the West Coast jolly, watched it twice some really amazing stuff
on it. Of course the editing is totally crap and there is so much
shake on the West Coast bit I had to cut quite a bit out of that
which has made the music jump as you need 3 hands, but Ive left as
much in as I can so most people will be on it. After this one I will
try and cut it down further for a proper copy later but wouldn't mind
showing the first version at Perth this weekend if everyone is up for
it? I havent got anyone elses phone numbers so if you guys want to
pick a day and phone around?

Hi Simon,
I noticed a paperclip on message no 4. Can you make sure you
have the no attachments allowed in the group settings enabled.
Failure to do this will allow any virus on members computers to be
transferred to anyone on this site, a big no no. Members who get e
mail direct to their computer will have to go to the Yahoo site
(where you view the photos from)where they can and should upload
photos / files direct into the group page.
Regards Keith
Hi Simon,
As you have declined to take over as moderator on the other
group I'll join yours. For everyones information there is around 60
of the better photos of around 160 taken mostly of the West Coast
trip on the other site. Some of them are possibly embarrasing, but I
kept the most embarrassing ones off the site.
I'll leave them on for a couple of weeks so everyone that wants can
have a look so pass the word around, you do not have to join that
group to view the information. There is a couple of items in the
files section as well that maybe of interest. I had more to put on
but will leave that for now. After a couple of weeks I'll delete the
site as having 2 sites for the same function defeats the object,
enjoy,
Regards Keith

The best picture was the one with davy on the tractor.
That kitfox and a jodel landed at bonnybank on their way back from
crail.
The bonnybank fliers new field has been seeded and the grass is an
inch high. The new strip it slightly south east of their existing
strip and should be OK by autumn. It's 650yds long.
Please note their existing site has very long grass as they are
having lawnmower problems.
Best regards
Tam
Anyone who may have or be interested in pictures of the "West coast trip"
should contact me as I am trying to produce a photo album on a website
called Webshots www.webshots.com
