Welcome to the seventh SalsaFrenzy Update.
SalsaFrenzy site news:
* SalsaFrenzy Forum: Early next week, this announcement list will be
turned into a public mailing list for exchange of news and views of
interest to the local Salsa music and dance scene. This will also
allow event organizers and instructors to directly post their news and
schedules. A number of people are being invited as regular
contributors, so this should be both an informative and lively forum.
First postings by new subscribers will be moderated. This will
minimize misuse.
To keep you from getting mail that you may not want, your message
delivery preference has been changed to only receive "special notices".
This means you'll continue to receive this once-a-week "SalsaFrenzy
Update" but not the other postings unless you explicitly elect to
receive them (which we recommend by the way).
Happening This Week (see the SalsaFrenzy Calendar for times, cost,
etc.):
* This Wednesday (2/26), DJ Hernan is at Sophia's in Boston.
* This Thursday (2/27), Mambo Combo is at the Arlington Center for the

Till next week...

PS and a note to listed clubs, instructors, and DJs: SalsaFrenzy
counts on you to keep it up to date with your news. The places we hear
from are the places SalsaFrenzy readers will hear about. For example,
we are not hearing from Club Candela or El Bembe about their DJ/band
appearances, so while still listed in the SalsaFrenzy web calendar,
they are not mentioned in the email update.
