ANANTAPUR: Selfishness is the root of all unhappiness in the world and the day when people feel that they were all equal and of the same manifestation, happiness would dawn, said Sri Satya Sai Baba.
He inaugurated by lighting a lamp an international medical conference - Sai Ideal Healthcare - at Sai Kulwant Hall, Prashanti Nilayam at Puttaparti on Saturday.
International Satya Sai organisation chairperson Michael Goldstein, Director of Sri Satya Sai Higher Medical Sciences AN Safai, LN Gaden of Petersberg, University of Southern California chairman Narendra Reddy, Satya Sai Higher Medical Sciences Neuro chairman AS Hegde of Bangalore, KE Misra of Mumbai Patel Dental College and others were present.
On the occasion, Saibaba said without God’s grace nothing can be achieved. We should think who we are and know one’s atman by cogitation, Sai Baba said.
Atman is more important than the body but the body is not permanent. Only atman is indestructible, Saibaba said.
Baba further said one should have qualities of mercy and patience to make life meaningful.
Dr Safai said the Saibaba hospitals should become models in the world since Saibaba had been rendering selfless service.
In Satya Sai hospitals patients are treated like God men whom other hospitals should emulate. Many noted doctors around the world are attending the two-day conference.
