A Bhakta dedicates his entire life to the Lord. Whatever he does or speaks, he has the Lord always in view; the place where such a person stands is Kasi; the action of such a bhakta is Shivapooja. An army of such bhaktas must emerge out of this place. I want that you should make your hearts, Ayodhya, impregnable by yodhas, or warriors, (the warriors besieging it like kama, krodha, etc.) Make your mind a Bhadrachala, an immovable mountain; then only can you become a Rama-dasa. - Sri Sathya Sai

As a boy of fourteen, when Baba was still at the Uravakonda High School, every Thursday evening, between about 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. He became Shirdi Sai Baba and gave Darshan to hundreds of devotees and answered their prayers. I was a teacher in the High School then and I too took advantage of those Thursdays. “My student” Sathya used to take even then as He does now, Vibhuti by a wave of the hand! My 22-year-old daughter had died sometime previously and my wife was in great distress. Sathya used to come to my residence and give her long discourses on the problem of life and death, and, thanks to His wise ministration, she became normal soon, His words full of Prema pacified the agitations of her mind, and restored her devotion to the Lord. On the second Thursday that she offered worship He gave her “the vibhuti” and said, ” Ammayi! I appreciate your Bhakti; I am pleased; next week, come, I shall give you a gift.”

That day, He asked her to rise from His Feet when she prostrated. He said, “Ammayi! I am giving you a piece of the gerua I wore when I entered Samadhi at Shirdi for the last time” and closing his Palm for an instant, He opened it to show us a piece of cloth 4 inches square. “Take this and do Puja to My Name; come next week, I shall give you something more.” He said and sent us away, in great joy, for, while we took leave, He added: “Be happy henceforth for, I shall carry all your burdens for you.”

The next Thursday, we both went to Him and did Namaskar. That day he closed His Palm and when He opened It, there had materialised a quantity of Akshatha or rice grains. “Tie this in the cloth given last week and worship It. You will get mental quiet,” He blessed. You will not have any cause for grief; I am conferring on you full Bhakti.”

The 5th Thursday, too, another miracle happened. He told my wife, “Ammayi! Keep a Peetha (seat) in your house, in the Puja Room, and I shall be giving you Darshan there itself,” and He made us do it immediately.

We have all read how Krishna with His brother Balarama went to the house of Arjuna and granted Darshan to him and his consort and also showered blessings on them. This Sathya Sai too, Who is the same Krishna and the same Shirdi Sai came to the house of this poor bhakta and blessed us with a vision of His Mahima; we can never forget the exquisite thrill of that experience. He came on two consecutive days, the Krishna Janmashtami and the Rohini Day. The wonderful experiences of those days have been described by my wife in a poem published over her name Kamesvaramma in the “Sai Sudha” of April 1944 printed by the All India Sai Samaj, Madras. I have also put them in verse and included it in the “Sainatha Sathakam” I published as a separate book in 1944.

He came and sat on the Peetha in the Puja room and asked us to come in and sit by His side; He then asked us whether we did not desire to see the various leelas of previous Births. When we welcomed the idea enthusiastically, He agreed to show them to us and all the family collected around. He ordered us to watch Him and, (Would you believe it? You may not, until you yourself experience the same or similar miracles of Baba) we were thrilled by the Form of Narayana on the Ocean of Milk, reclining on the Vatapathra. We heard only word after word, announcing the next Form. The Forms changed from one surprise to another in quick succession. We were given enough time to imbibe the beauty and splendour of each form and to be struck by the instantaneous power of Baba’s Sankalpa!

And where was Baba, our Sathya, all the time? He became Gajendra raising his trunk to greet Vishnu on the horizon, Krishna the cowherd boy leaning on a tree and playing the flute, Gopala on the awe-inspiring Kalinga Serpent, Radha-Krishna, Lakshmi-Narayana, Parvati-Parameswara and Saraswati-Brahma too; then, we saw Him as Sita-Rama and lo! we heard the name Sathyabhama and saw Her; we were blessed by a vision at Baba’s invisible call, of Mohini the Form that Vishnu once assumed, of Prahlada yearning for Narayana, and immediately thereafter, of Narasimha killing Hiranyakasipu, also of Vamana, Parasurama, and Buddha too; Baba showed us the killing of Sisupala, Saindhava, and of the Rakshasas, there was the scene of the Lord bringing the parijatha flowers; the picture then changed to one of Panduranga and then Narada and his ecstatic praise of the Lord; the next one was of Navaneethachora, the Balakrishna stealing butter; and after that, the killing of Abhimanyu by the wicked Kaurava chiefs and, last, there was the magnificent Murthi of Shirdi Baba Himself!

How can we ever forget those shining Forms, so full of vitality and life, that glowed before our eyes on those two sacred days?

IN LOVING MEMORY OF SAI’S CHILD
SURENDRA RATNAM
A loving brother and friend to all those who were blessed to have known him in his lifetime.

Go well my friend

Go well my friend into the candyfloss sky
Of golden clouds and diamond nights
To the one who awaits you
In his throne up high
With arms wide open
Sai wants you to fly

For your soul is great
And your love is pure
Your life was Sai’s message
It was your core

You showed us love
You showed us care
You gave us a great treasure
You gave your heart
You gave it to share

Go well my friend
Sai’s abode awaits
He chose you from the rest
You were always his very best!

Om Sai Ram

Life and death are personal experiences, one should not hasty to judge, correct
or criticize our fellow brothers specially those going through such a terrible
pain like the parents.
Not everybody works or get retired.
Some of us grieve more, it doents make us weaker or better than the other.
As for the bro the Gita says how important are the moments before death, we dont
know what this bro was thinking or feeling right at the very moment of his
death, maybe he changed his mind and was regretful, repentant for his act, we
just dont know and even if we knew it is up to Bhagawan and to Bhagawan only to
decide.

May his soul rest in peace and may Swami help his family.

I agree with Melanie, and was going to say the same thing.

The most important thing in life is love... but how many of us are able to show
it? Swami Himself always asked us to speak sweetly and 'Love Ever, Hurt
Never'..

Dear All,

Sai Ram.

One one side is a devotees still in the Body consciousness and on the other hand
is the Yogi - with aatmic consciousness.

One feels for the body so much that what the Yogi said was taken as an effront
(cold hard attitude).

The level of each to his / her own self. Ones knowledge should no be despised by
an ignorant, but a lot can be learnt from that.

I agree, the worst demise is a 'suicide' - you put an end to this God Given Body
- you do not give God a chance.

SATHY SAI BABA – ADVISE INSIDE IN TERVIEW ROOM:
In the year 1995, Bhagavan Baba mercifully conducted our 60th Birthday wedding, inside the interview room, in Prashanthi Nilayam. He touched many subjects during this 90 minutes interview. One such a pearl is now being shared with you:
Swami suddenly reverted to the topic of our 60th birthday. He told us, “When you enter the 60th year of your existence, you are entering into a new phase of your life. By the previous wedding during your youthful days, you were allowed to enter Grihasthasrama, the family life. But when you put your knots today on this 60th birthday, you are coming out of all the pleasures of your family life and you should from now onwards proceed into the spiritual life. The wife and husband could only be supporting each other in their spiritual journey form now onwards. Thus, if you live for another decade, at the age of 70, you will be like Saptha Rishies who leads only holy life. You should soon be at the 80th birthday. What does it mean? By living like Saptha Rishies for over 10 years, you become as powerful as ASHTA DIK PALAKAS. They are the protectors of the eight sides of the world. You become one among them. Soon you will be arriving at the 90th year, and you will be like the NAVAGRAHAS. (The nine planets in the universe). By then there will not be any effect on you, by the transitory movements of the nine planets; what is more, your very presence will protect others also from such effects. When you enter the 100th year, you would have lived a full divine life, you are free from all your previous karmas, and you will be liberated.”

Tapovanam - Sri Sathya Sai Sathcharithra - The Sacred Story of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

This popular biography of Bhagawan - specially written for daily reading - is summarized by the author Mr. Jandyala Venkateswara Sastry as below:

"The supreme majesty and splendour of His Divine being is incomprehensible and inexplicable. Still an effort can be made to put together inspirational stories about His infinite glory from the unimaginably vast ocean of the life of this God walking on Earth. This is an invitation to enter through the gates of 'Tapovanam' invoking and propitiating the Lord incarnate, move about hearing his supreme glory thus to get recharged with a spiritual awakening to finally fulfill the 'I' in each one of us - a journey from self to self."

Readings from Tapovanam are now available for free listening through Radio Sai.

Thank you all for your participation in Ekadasha Rudrabhishekam at Sai Prem for the month of May 2012.

Look forward to seeing more & more participation in the next month's Ekadasha Rudrabhishekam on Maasa Shiva Rathri falling on JUN 17th,.2012 to receive the powerful vibrations.

In Sai Service,

---------- Forwarded message ----------

                               AUM SRI SAI RAM

By the grace of Bhagwan Baba, Ekadasha Rudram will be performed form 8 AM onwards at Sai Prem on the occasion of Maasa Shiva Rathri EVERY MONTH as per the calendar appended in the attachment. (If it falls on a weekday being working day, then the same will be performed on the subsequent holiday / Sunday whichever is earlier.)

"Ekadasha Rudrabhishekam" is being organized to promote world peace, family well-being & guard against adverse situations (ill fortunes, health problems, financial troubles, marital discords, depression etc.), removal of evil forces, negative energies etc. and also for uplift in all of our endeavors securing inner purity and Divine protection & blessings. It is intended particularly for the sake of washing away ones sins and afflictions bringing in Peace, Prosperity & Family Happiness.

"Rudrabhishekam" is a very important form of worship of Lord Sai Shiva, the very source of cosmic energy for the entire creation. His Divine form encompasses and extends far beyond all known and unknown galaxies and universes. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He is the conqueror of Death and an embodiment of infinite mercy, compassion and love. We owe our existence to the Divinity and have to pray and worship Him constantly with gratitude for the welfare of all mankind.

Swami in His discourses said, "Rudram is the most sacred, powerful & richest Vedic hymn & whoever at least listens to or views this ritual is also blessed with peace and prosperity". Ekadasha Rudram is one of the highest forms of worships with the recitation of the Sri Rudra Prasna (First the eleven Anuvakams of Namakkam, followed by the first Anuvakam of Chamakkam are chanted. Next again the eleven Anuvakams of Namakkam with second Anuvakam of Chamakkam are chanted. Like this for 11 full chantings of Namakkam one full chanting of Chamakkam is completed). Lord Shiva is immensely pleased when He hears this hymn.

In the Shiva Lingam, the entire universe is personified. If the Shiva Lingam is cooled (pleased by devotion), then the universe is cooled (filled with peace and love). Abhishekam is the ritual that cools the Shiva Lingam which is dearest to His heart. That is why constant Abhishekam to Shiva Lingam while chanting Rudram is as an expression of our devotion.

Very rarely a Sarvajanik Abhishekam of this significance, magnitude & frequency can be witnessed and also a huge opportunity for the people to actually participate in the worship

Since this grand elaborate Vedic ceremony is for Loka Kalyana, the welfare of all devotees, their families, all humanity and for Universal Peace & Prosperity, all are requested to participate in this " unique Community Worship " to derive the benefits of its performance. Please come forward to help conduct this activity in a grand manner.

A humble offering at the divine lotus feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in His mission by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Navi Mumbai District. Maharashtra & Goa. India.

In Sai Service.

Divine love reaches out even to the remotest being. It brings together those who are separate. It raises man from animality to divinity. It transforms gradually all forms of worldly love to Divine love. To experience this Divine love, men must be prepared to give up selfishness and self-interest. They must develop purity and steadfastness. With firm faith in the Divine, they must foster the love of God regardless of all obstacles and ordeals.

My Task Is This…

My Task Is This…

65 years ago on this very day, when Bhagawan was just over twenty years of age, He wrote a very revealing and inspiring reply to a devotee, who was perturbed by adverse talk by aimless tattered tongues, attempting to tarnish the Divine image. Pacifying the agitating mind Bhagawan responded, explaining His Task and His Divinity. The letter was dated 25th May 1947.
To Bhaktas!
My dear Boy. I received your letter and I noted the flow of the current of Prema and the echo of Bhakti in every word.
It is impossible to see into the hearts of Jnanis and Yogis; nor is it possible to understand their ways. So, naturally, people talk about them, just as their fancy prompts them. No amount of fault-finding indulged in by these people can affect us, so long as we act truly and well, keep our purpose steadily in view and so long as we do not lose hold of the values dictated by Jnana. Don’t you know that only those trees get stoned, which have fruit on their branches? The tree with no fruits is not noticed by passers-by.
Good and bad co-exist; they are companions for ever. That is in the very nature of the world.
And, why, let me ask, should these people be blamed? Poor fellows! What do they know? What can they know? They are caught by every gust of greed, anger, envy and hate. So, they become intolerant and have no control of mind or tongue; they indulge in loose talk and slander. Those that know will never talk like that. It is not wise to take such ignorance seriously.
Truth alone can win, believe Me. Un-truth must fail. It might appear to win for some little while, but, as soon as Truth appears on the scene, un-truth does flee.
It is not the nature of Mahatmas to exult when worshipped or droop when they are neglected or calumnied. No Gita has laid down rules and regulations for the behaviour of Mahatmas; but, Sathpravarthana and Sadbuddhi are the fundamental traits …Beneficial Activity and Beneficial Thoughts. Provided these are there, whatever is done over and above this for the benefit of the Bhaktas and for their welfare according to their deserts, we can afford to be free.
My Task Is This…
You should pay no heed to the talk you mention. The Mahatmas do not owe their greatness to others who recognise them as such; nor do they lose their greatness if some one fails to recognise them. Their stature is not heightened by praise or lowered by blame.
Of course there are some “Yogis” who suffer from blame and they have every reason to fear. I shall tell you who they are.
They quaff their full, they swallow pills
Of opium, and chew the bhang—these ‘noble’ folk!
They drink, they eat their fill
Of low unwholesome food—these `famous’ men!
“Tis wrong to state ’tis false to say
That anything dies, they never die,”
They swear while (!) cutting throats and eat
The living things they like—these `teachers’ grand!
They preach the lessons of love and peace
But hate and fight, all on the sly—these `gurus’ great!
They fret and fume and speak for long
On dry as dust philosophy!
This wondrous gang of Yogis false
They surely dread a fall.
It is only such that have to be afraid. You must have read, in the lives of Mahatmas, how they were assailed by small men in even worse ways. It is all part of the scheme,: don’t worry. How long can the poor dogs bark at the star? How can they produce any effect on the star? All this will continue just for a little time; our integrity is the means to victory.
My Task Is This…
I shall not slacken My Task, My Activity, My Determination. For Me, Reputation, Fame, Blame, Calumny—all are equally insignificant. I am quite unconcerned with the whole lot. I speak and act, only to help the world and for the sake of the people. But, let Me tell you, I have no name, no place, no possession. By whatever name I am called, I respond! To whichever place I am called, I go and make My appearance. I have this as My very first, My vow, My self-imposed task.
I have not spoken of this to anyone so far; I am not a part of this world; I am far far away from it. But yet, I engage Myself in the uplift of its inhabitants. My Shakti, My Power, My Mystery can never be understood, whoever studies it, howsoever intensely and well.
You can yourself witness the glory that will be manifested hereafter. Bhaktas must learn patience and await events. Then, you will yourself realize the absurdity of your fears.
I wrote this reply to you, because I felt you will be sad, unless I wrote. Otherwise, I would not have replied at all, for it is not in Me to pay heed to such things.
Thus…..Your Baba.

What is the toll of the pangs of separation for a devotee and how much a devoted heart could feel for the ‘missing’ Beloved Presence?…a poetic expression from Ms. Jullie Chaudhuri.
Oh! my Beloved,
I know You won’t leave me and go,
I am certain that is not my fate,
My joy You will reinstate,
Come be visible unto me,
Why this delay?
Life seems pale and grey,
End this play,
Anymore don’t make me wait,
Come, Cherished One, set the date,
Hear my cry,
Be visible, oh! Beloved Mother Sai…
I stare and stare at Your image,
Wondering aloud,
Thoughts that do me besiege -
When will those Lotus Eyes blink?
When will those Divine Lips move?
When will those Hands be raised in Abhaya Hasta?
When will those Cherished Feet walk my way?
Soon, soon, soon,
My Beloved, for how can You stay away?
Where are You?
Hear me as I fervently pray,
You will respond to my soul,
For You it does cry,
Come be visible unto me,
Oh! You, Who are the sole delight of my life,
Oh! Come now, precious Mother Sai…
If You gather my tears,
A new river would be born,
You are with me,
Yet where have You gone?
End this long night of separation,
Of a wondrous reunion herald in a dawn,
I know You won’t leave me like this,
Your Presence I do immensely miss,
Come appear, let the wounds heal,
The scars disappear,
Every cell of my being longs only for You,
…And none other…
Oh! My sweet Mother,
Visible You have to Be, Be, Be,
Unto me,
Come, my darling Mother Sai,
Be visible unto me…
A rose at Your lotus feet I do place,
In every petal my adoration You may trace,
Grace, I seek Thy Grace,
This fog, this mist You must clear,
Oh! Mother dear,
Closer and closer, ever so near,
Hear my eager, yet anguished plea,
End my agony,
Be visible unto me…
Come, my sweetly Cherished One,
You, these eyes crave to see,
Be visible unto me…

In a district known for its cosmopolitan composition and places of worship which are casteless and creedless and attract people belonging to various religions, yet another pilgrimage destination has been added.
The Sathya Sai Mandir housed in an imposing edifice at Yellanhalli on the Ooty-Coonoor national highway came into being on Wednesday.

It is a topaz evening in Rishikesh. All the rich scents and sights of this
spiritual city flood our senses. Today we white water rafted on the Ganges. We
went through some pretty rapid white rapids, but with Baba as our rafter
everyone enjoyed the exciting adventure. At one point we climbed up a hillside
and splashed merrily under a waterfall along the Ganges. It was a real fun

The difference between human and demon (Maanava and Daanava) is just this – human beings should have morality, self-control and compassion (Dharma, Dhama and Daya). Demons do not have these, nor do they consider them as desirable characteristics; they ignore them and pay no heed to the prompting of these virtues. On the contrary, these three are in fact the essential qualities of every man. Every being in the universe is a pilgrim on the path from demon to human to divine. The number of stages in this journey is as many as the number of hearts in this universe! Each pilgrim moves at their own speed and with the Name and Form that inspires them.

Sai Baba Is The Mother Of All - Sai Devotee Sudhamayee

Today' experience is also well drafted and very much guiding for all of us. So i wont reveal its content in introduction.
Sai Sister Sudhamayee Ji from India says: Hetal Ji, this is my experience. I referred this to two devotees, who posted comments in my previous experience. I would have replied simply to their comments. But Baba inspired me to write an experience for them. Every time, I sit for prayer and ask Baba. I feel doing some amendments to it. He Himself made me memorize some incidents one after the other and made me complete this. It took 3 days to write this. Please forgive if it is against the custom and norms of your blog. You can edit it at the places, you feel lengthy. But I request you to observe that it doesn't lose its essence. Thanking you.

Om Sai Ram. Hello all. I am Sudhamayee. I posted four experiences previously. First of all I would like to appreciate Hetal Ji for her wonderful service. Here I straight away enter into experience.

This is in reference to the Anonymous Devotee and Renu Arora Ji, who posted comments in my previous experience Sai Baba Listens Each And Every Word Of His Devotee, dated march 15th, which is as given below.

Anonymous Devotee: “Sudhamayee devotee I dont know whether u r aware how lucky u r to get such frequent dreams from Baba when there r so many of us who dont get such dreams at all and like chatak birds r forever waiting for his light to shine upon us. It was so nice to read ur experience and how ur faith was increased by our dear Baba. His reham is upon all his devotees but dreams r so rare.”

Experiences of swami’s devotees

(Episode 17)

Following are some incidents  when Swami told the devotees what was in their mind and advised them  accordingly

or fulfilled their desire.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Sri Venkat has been an ardent devotee of Bhagwan for a long time  and he is still actively engaged in  the Ashram’s

activities at Puttaparthi. He recollected some of his memorable  experiences with Swami and narrated them to me.

One of the amazing experiences took place in Nov 1976.

One day, he prepared a list of questions that he wanted to ask Swami and jotted them down on a piece of paper.

He kept the paper in his shirt pocket and completely forgot about it.  When he went for the darshan that evening,

Swami called him for an interview.

Swami on seeing Sri.Venkat asked him “Where is the paper with questions?  Ask me the questions now (Ippudu Adugu)

As he had  forgotten about the paper he did not take it out.  But Swami knew the questions !

Swami went on and mentioned each of the questions and gave His answer. He answered all the 9 or 10  questions and

in the same order as it was written down on the paper.

DESIRE OF BRAZILIAN SINGER

A young singer from Brazil came to Puttaparthi with another friend. He was a very popular singer in his country and

when the Pope visited  Brazil he sang before him.

He stayed in Puttaparthi for a few days and had an opportunity to sing before Swami. He developed an enormous

respect and love for Him. Ultimately he started considering Swami as God and wanted to kiss His hand.  Some people  advised him that it is not a normal practice to kiss the hand of Swamy but he could touch His feet and seek His blessings.  Then he wanted to touch His feet and also kiss them.

Whenever Swami came near him, he tried to touch His feet and kiss them too. But swami never stopped before him

and did not give him a chance for Padanamaskar.  The Brazilian singer  was feeling a little disappointed.

One morning, Swami sent word asking him to come to His room. When he came to His room, Swami asked him to take

Padanamaskar  and he did so and also kissed His feet.

Swami told him, that He knew his inner desire to kiss His feet.  But during darshan time, He was walking with bare feet

and it was with dust and it was not good for him to kiss them. So He called him in the morning after He had His showers

and gave him Padanamaskar.

EXPERIENCE OF A GOVT. OFFICIAL

Once a senior Govt official  in his 50s came to Swami for darshan. He had an inner desire  to take early retirement from

his job and join the Ashram activities. Swami, knew what was in his mind, though he did not tell  anything to Swami.

Swami told him that He knew what he was contemplating to do and  advised him not do so unless he fulfilled  his

domestic duties, like getting his daughter married.  Further Swami also told him what that officer planned to do,  5 years earlier. That official was simply stunned on hearing this and wondering how Swami knew of his plans and also about

what he was planning to do 5 years earlier.

EXPERIENCE OF A DEVOTEE FROM MANGALORE

A devotee from Mangalore, who is about 80 now, had a similar  experience. About 30 years ago, he attended a ‘Harikatha’

(religious discourse) in his hometown. In the Harikatha, the Pandit  mentioned that if the Guru keeps his feet on his disciple’s head,  the disciple would get ‘Moksha’.

He was a devotee of Swami. He desired that Swami placed His  feet on his head. He was sitting in the darshan row and

tried his best to ask Swami to keep His feet on his head. But Swami never gave him a chance to do so.

One morning, he sent a boy to the shed where this devotee was staying and asked him to come to His room. Swamy was sitting on a deck chair with His legs on a foot rest. So when this devotee came to see Swami, His feet was facing him and

he kneeled before Him and kept his head under Swami’s  feet. So his desire was fulfilled.

Swami asked him “Are you happy now?”

Baba knows the innermost desires of His devotees at all times.

In scriptures we read of many angels, Gods and Deities
Do they exist?
In my humble opinion, from
my experience and teachings from Sai Baba they do exist.
.
.
LESSONS FROM GOD - Sai Baba & Kali Maa - Chamundeyi.
.
http://wiki/File:Kali_lithograph.jpg
.
I finished my prayers one morning in London, when Sai Baba materialised
and spoke ''Amarjit, Kali Maa, wants to meet you''.
.
I looked at this terrifying 4 hands Dark Goddess with huge eyes standing in front of me.
I was terrified, I got up and ran Everywhere I ran to, she materialised in front,
by now I was exhausted of running,
.
spoke, ''Amarjit, Kali Maa has come for your blessings, ''
I realised the only way out was to bless her.
.
I blessed her, she blessed, initiated me, and dematerialised.
.
Baba showed an amazing scene How Kali Maa, became the terrible frightening figure she is.
.
.taine The White Goddess,
I was standing in the middle of the Universe, watching a lone Beautiful Snow White - Goddess fighting uncountable Demons.

portrayal of Kuan Yin Who is Kwan Yin?Kali Ma | Send this Wallpaper

The Goddess was fighting a loosing battle standing on a planet which was dwarfed by her very being.
.
She was slowly being defeated.
The demons were now in the final stages of killing her.
.
Just before the final blow destroyed her , she cried out in anguish,
''God, help me I am loosing the battle against the Demons, why have you forsaken me?''
.
A huge ball of light suddenly appeared over her & a voice spoke, ''Open your mouth, divine Goddess''.
.
The White Goddess opened her mouth, a huge vacuum appeared within her very being and the Demons were sucked into her very core.
As she swallowed these fiery demons her skin slowly changed and she changed into what she is seen as today a terrible figure.
.
.Hindu Goddess Kali Maa
.
However she is also known as the compassionate mother who showers uncountable blessings.
One of the Mantra which invokes her, provides psychic protection and increases self confidence :
.
''Om Eim Hrim Klim Chamundayei Namaha''
.
.
Jesus Christ .
Goddess Kali
.
............Kali is one of the many forms of Shakti. Maha Kaali is the fiercest of all goddesses of Hinduism. The word Kali has its roots in the Sanskrit word "Kaal", which means time. And nothing escapes from time. Goddess Kali is sometimes referred as the goddess of death.
..............Actually Kali brings the death of the ego. Even in the scriptures, she has killed demons but not anyone else. Kali is also not associated with Yama (the Hindu God of Death). Kali is considered a form of mother too. Maa Kali is one of the few Goddesses who are celibate and practice renunciation.
.
.
...
OM EIM HRIM KLIM CHAMUNDAYEI VICHEI NAMAHA
.
OM I'M HREEM KLEEM CHAH-MOON-DAH-YEI VEE-CHEH NAHM-AH-HA

Om salutations to she who is radiant with power and wisdom

Sairam,

There was an article in The Hindu,dt 7/5 titled " India's god laws fail the test of reason" by Praveen Swami. In this article writing negatively on miracles he said that " It takes real courage ,in a piety obsessed society,to expose the chicanery of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and packs of lesser miracle peddlers who prey on the insecurities of the desperate and gullible." I have written the following letter in response to the article out of my love for  Swami to clear the dust in the article.

To,
The Editor,
The Hindu.
Sir,
This has reference to " India's god laws fail the test of reason"(The Hindu 9/5), by Praveen Swami. It is most astonishing and shocking at the comment of Praveen Swami on the miracles of Sri Sathya Sai Baba as chicanery. Being a senior journalist and regular contributor of the most popular national daily The Hindu Praveen Swami proved himself through this article most ignorant and illiterate of Indian culture, spirituality and religious faith which is being followed and  adopted by millions of people in their routine life. There are millions and millions of devotees and followers of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on this earth spreading over more than 175 countries worshiping Him as God in human form as seen in the history of Sri Rama,Sri Krishna, Jesus Christ,Shirdi Sai Baba,Gouthan Budha,Gurunanak etc. There were multitude of miracles in various forms by Sri Sathya Sai Baba and still a number of miracles are seen and experienced even after Swami left His physical body and will continue to be manifested. What is the experience and knowledge of Sathya Sai Baba by Praveen Swami? If he goes to Puttaparthy and gets first hand knowledge and experience personally I am sure he would have repented for his comment, chicanery.
It is a known fact that there are many people from an illiterate villager to highly educated citizens who include scientists of international fame who got faith and belief in the miracles of Baba as they experienced personally. The biggest miracle is the completion of super speciality hospital within six months and who can in this universe perform this miracle?
Are the miracles of Sri Rama,Sri Krishna,Jesus Christ and Shirdi Sai Baba chicaneries? If Praveen Swami cannot go to Puttaparthy nor can interact with Swami's devotees for first hand information to gain knowledge on Baba, he should have atleast gone through thousands of books on Baba revealing the life of Baba with unlimited miracles. But without any information, knowledge and experience Praveen Swami  just commented casually as if he is a stringer of a village reporting for a newspaper. To quote some examples vibhuthi, prints of Baba's divine lotus feet are  still manifested in the houses of devotees. There is couple devotees of Shirdi Sai  Baba in New Delhi Ashok and Veena Guptajis and they conduct pooja and bhajans wherever they are every thursday.During these sessions plenty of vubhuthi is manisfested in the lap of Veenaji and vibhuthi, kumkum, nectar are manisfeted over the idols of Shirdi ai Baba, books and other materials including bhog. There are instances where the food material submitted to Baba was a bit empty as Baba had taken the prasad.THIS HAS BEEN  BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS TOGETHER in the presence of this couple being witnessed by many every thursday.UNbelievable? Yes,seeing is believing by attending the pooja on thursdays if any one interested Praveen Swami in particular. There is no scientific explanation an answer to many miracles as spirituality is beyond science.
It is true that Indian constitution obliges all citizens to develop scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of enquiry and reform. But the constitution never objected to the religious faiths, spirituality and Indian culture.Spirituality and religious faith is beyond science as where science ends spirituality begins.Ofcourse there are many scientific elements if one goes deep into various rituals of religion and spirituality as our ancients proved through almanacs predicting seasons, weather, eclipses etc.Every citizen has got liberty and freedom for any faith or religion and no law nor court interfere in this aspect.
It is to be hoped that while commenting adversely on any one or anything let Praveen Swami have full knowledge and information on the subject and if possible better experience so that others are not hurt by his immature, irrevelant and unwanted comments in the most popular national daily.
I humbly request Praveen Swami to pay a visit to Puttaparthy and stay for seven days and get full first hand information and experience on Sri Sathya Sai Baba and let him go through every inch and every service activity and every miracle of Sri Sathya Sai Baba which are not chicaneries but facts, realities and can be seen with eyes and can be heard with ears if he is not blind, deaf and dumb to the divine service activities of BABA for the humanity for  their welfare and well being through His endless love for every one as Swami always preaches love all serve all, help ever and hurt never as this is the nmtire summary of our vedas and puranas. If not possible let Praveen Swami can go through sincerely the special edition brought out by India Today group of publications on Sri Sathya Sai Baba recently.Incidentally there is a photo in The Hindu dt 9/5/12 titled World Peace from POuttaparthy showing the programme on Budha pornima.Who is behind this world peace? It is none but Sri Sathya Sai Baba whose life is His message for every one in this universe for the peaceful coexistence with Sathya,Dharma,Shanthi,Prema and ahimsa. Are these discourses chicaneries?

Do not worry
If others do not take the same road you take.
Too many cars on one street causes a traffic jam.
If you have to worry, worry as to
How many miles you have traveled to reach Me.
Or even if you started the journey yet?
Worry as to how many more painful births
You have to take.
Swami stands in front of you with a map.
It has a lot of rest stops,
And everything is taken care of.
Slowly but surely,
One day you will reach Me.

What is the purpose of an Avatar? How do we move from Form to Formless? These are some of the potent and thought-provoking topics that Sai Giridhar of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning dwelt on at the concluding session of the colloquium 'Experiencing the Divine – The Form to the Formless' held on the occasion of Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam at Prasanthi Nilayam, April 23-25, 2012.

After rounding up his Masters degree at the University, Sai Giridhar returned to his alma mater, guided by Bhagawan to pursue a doctoral research programme in Chemistry. For many a decade his family has been visiting Prasanthi Nilayam and his memories of Bhagawan date back to his days of a pre-schooler when he was fortunate to have had two important ceremonies - aksharabhyasa (initiation into education) and upanayanam (sacred thread ceremony) performed by Bhagawan. Sai Giridhar is a native of Hyderabad.

In addition to pursuing his academic career, Sai Giridhar has taken up the role of a mentor in the Sri Sathya Sai Hostel and is also the Cultural Co-ordinator.

The Bible speaks about faith and greater faith. Quoting Jesus, It says, “… if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20) This faith is not the realm of the ordinary, though it is not reserved exclusively for the explicitly ecclesiastical ones. Interestingly, at times one could see absolute, unqualified faith mushrooming in unexpected quarters.

A friend with whom I work has listened to my endless tales of Sai Baba’s miracles and power, with doubt and teasing. But, he did not scoff or deny and even asked me for some of Bhagawan’s Vibhuti, when his mother was ill. His name is Tony De Paco, and his mother recovered at the time, but, made her transition, a year later.

One night, Tony asked me if I would drive him to where his auto had stalled. The starter was quite active, but, the motor was not responsive. I suggested we sprinkle some Vibhuti on the motor.
Tony said that the electricity or the petrol was not reaching the motor, and, he would just leave it, until he could return and fix it.

But, I prevailed and Tony allowed me to place Vibhuti on the motor, before he tried again to start the obstinate auto which was very old and worn. The motor started, much to our delight, and Tony started the many miles home, while I followed, in my car.

We finally arrived where I should turn to go to my home, and Tony wanted me to turn off and he would continue the two miles further, to his residence.

But, Tony is a good man. I decided I would follow him, in case the auto stopped again. I was very grateful for this decision of mine, when I saw Tony’s auto stopped dead, a short distance further:
I stopped and went towards Tony. I was expecting his gratitude for my gesture, when I was dismayed to hear him say, in disgust, “Now, see what you have done! You have stopped this motor again. Baba’s Vibhuti had it running and you did not have the faith to turn off. So, your lack of faith has stopped the motor.”

While I was towing him home, I thought, “I talk like the devotee—but, it is Tony who has the faith. How wrong I was, to feel superior!”

Each one gets the result that their spiritual practice (sadhana) deserves, that their acts in this and previous births grant them. In the epic Ramayana, the demon king Ravana had scholarship, strength, wealth, power, authority and even the grace of God - but the virus of lust and pride which lodged in his mind brought about his destruction, despite all attainments. He could not dwell in peace and joy for a moment after the infection started to work. Life is a constant campaign against many foes, it is a battle with obstacles, temptations, hardships and hesitations. These enemies are present within every being and so the battle is incessant and perpetual. Each one differs from another, in this struggle against the inner attackers. Like the virus that thrives on the bloodstream, the vices of lust, greed, hate, malice, pride and envy sap the energy and faith of human beings and reduce them to untimely fall. Hence, always remember this - Virtue is strength, vice is weakness.

Om Sairam dearest Sai Family,
Here is a touching story of few chosen kids from neighboring Pakistan, that country which in the world's eyes is a safe haven for anti social elements. That country which the POLITICAL India considers an arch rival if not the rest of Indians. This is a real story which speaks the PURE LOVE our beloved Lord has showered on Mankind irrespective of caste, creed or nation.. Let this story open every one's eyes.
Brothers and sisters, as it is mentioned at the end of this article, it is not an ADVERTISEMENT and since Swami never likes advertising, let us share this story as an eye opener to all those COMMERCIAL hospitals for whom patients mean money. Let us share this article to the whole world so that it might be of some help to those poor and needy no matter which country they come from. Let this story inspire all the doctors in this world to have a kind heart towards the poor..
Let us use all the SOCIAL NETWORKING media like FACEBOOK, TWITTER etc to tell about two TEMPLES OF HEALING established by the Avatar of this age Sathya Sai Baba, so that people from across the globe would come to know about the completely FREE treatments given in these hospitals.
This article was lovingly forwarded by a Sai brother working in Swami's Super specialty hospital in Bangalore..

Across the Divide
To these children from Pakistan, the hospital showcased a love that knew no boundaries
For countries that seem separated by a deceptively thin, dotted line on the world map, the actual journey one makes to get to India from a remote village in Pakistan is daunting.  17 hours to get to Lahore by road, 22 hours to Delhi across a dusty, rugged landscape, and 36 hours chugging away to Bangalore.  Needless to say, after 6 days of travel, both Rukhsar and Sahil’s family were left with grimy, sleep-deprived faces and the unmistakable rancid odour of sweat-stained clothes that spoke of their arduous journey. But it did little to take the hopeful smile off their faces. “Salaam Namaste” were our first words exchanged.
It’s not often that children from Pakistan arrive at our hospital for heart surgery. When they do, however, there’s a story to be told. This story began a few months ago when a humanitarian group in Pakistan heard of the free heart surgery we offered to children at our hospital. A few phone calls and mail exchanges later, these families were on their journey of hope to India.

Sahil’s uncle, Mubarak Ali, calls it a miracle of Allah. Teaching Arabic in a mosque-linked school, he was drawn into the journey when his barely 8 year-old nephew was diagnosed with a hole in the heart. “We thought it was the end. How could we afford this treatment when we barely made enough to feed the family 3 full meals in a day,” was his cry. A visit to the nearby clinic in Sakkar and a chance meeting with a Pakistani doctor threw up the possibility of a cure. “He told us about an Indian Master’s hospital and showed us a picture on the internet. That was the first time we slept soundly after many days.”
More than 1000 kilometers away, 14 year old Rukhsar’s story was slightly different. “She could barely do any work at home, and had frequent bouts of fever and infection. As it is, she is such a timid child. The disease crushed her completely,” says her rickshaw driver uncle Shafi Mahmood, who accompanied her to the hospital. “I have two kids of my own, and struggle to give them the best I can. I couldn’t see her suffer.” When a local heart foundation threw open the possibility of having her treatment in India, Mahmood jumped at the offer. “I worked overtime for a week and took a loan to

make this journey possible. Her life was more important than anything else to me.”

The plight of the poor in Pakistan is heart-wrenching. Like in our country, there is a social stigma attached to being a heart patient, and local beliefs that cripple one from leading a normal life. Rukhsar remembers being sent back home from the local public school often. “The moment they knew I had a heart disease, no one wanted me at an arm’s length. I became a “risky” proposition to anyone around me. I was an alien in my own world, someone who was expected to drop dead and leave suddenly,” says the cherubic teenager.
And so when the two families were brought together in Lahore under inexplicable circumstances, their celebration of gratitude had just begun. “We have relatives who gave us nothing, despite knowing we were undertaking a journey not many would,” says Mahmood. “We were living in the hope of a future. We don’t have many happy memories from our past to hold on to.”

What was the journey to India like? “The only thing I wanted was to be able to get my daughter here without an infection,” says mother Firdous. “I wrapped her up in all my clothes in the sweltering heat of a bogie, and didn’t let her eat anything remotely unfamiliar.” Sahil is the quieter of the two, with eyes that barely rise to meet yours. “He has always been a quiet child,” says Mubarak, “He takes time to open up to strangers.” And yet, as he entered the hospital, the little one couldn’t keep himself from running on the lawns and throwing himself on his back in child-like glee “He is used to seeing sterile-looking cubicles, menacing needles and gloomy faces all around,” says Mubarak, “I don’t think he recognized the hospital in this beautiful structure.”
Both children attracted a lot of friends in the ward. “I didn’t know there were so many others like me,” says Rukhsar, breaking into a smile. Both her mother and uncle plainly say that they haven’t seen her so happy in a long time. Even on the day of her surgery, as the nurse helped braid her hair and fit her into surgical clothes, all she spoke to her mother was what she would do once she was cured. “She loves running but her condition doesn’t allow much exertion,” says Firdous. “Now she is already talking about long strolls in the paddy fields, and taking on her siblings in a playful dash.”
True, the hospital does cure the body, but I think that’s just the tip of the iceberg. In the few days we saw Sahil, the child journeyed from I-can’t-look-at-you to won’t-you-shake-my-hand-when-I-wave.  Rukhsar swung from a quiet, pensive child to an ear-to-ear grinning vivacious thing. There’s optimism in their voice, a confident swagger as they walk. The hospital doesn’t merely mend your heart. It transforms your being.

When Bhagawan was once asked why we did not advertise, he spoke of how each patient cured here is a moving advertisement of our love and care. Rukhsar and Sahil may have arrived here as children from Pakistan, but they return as ambassadors of a love that could not tell the difference between their country and ours.
When little Rukhsar does decide to race against her siblings in the paddy fields in days to come, her heart will beat stronger, gently reminding her that the extra years coursing through her veins are a special gift of love from a hospital far, far away, in a country she may never see again during her lifetime.
