Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

SAI RAM. Praying that Bhagawan's Love, Grace and
Blessings be with each and everyone of you.

On the Evening of August 20th'1963, in Venkatagiri
Bhagawan was immersed in the Bhajans which were being
sung with full devotion, when Suddenly Bhagawan got up
and went inside his room, it took an unusually long
time for Bhagawan to return and Bhajans went on for
another half an hour, At the end of the Bhajan session
Bhagawan wanted to wipe his brow, he then asked a
middle aged boy named Ramana to go to his room and get
his handkerchief, and then suddenly said "Go and come
back immediately, do not see anything else", Everybody
was curious, anxious, Then suddenly they heard a loud
scream from Swami's room and the Boy came running out
saying "Blood (Nethuru), Blood (Nethuru)", Swami
kerchief he was holding was soaking in Blood, His
whole hand was dripped in Blood. Swami told one
elderly man to go with the Boy and clean him and come
back. Everyone was shocked, Bhagawan smiled and then
said "I had to cut my Body to save a devotee".
Everyone was shocked, stunned. Swami then said to the
stunned audience "Venkanna staying in Raja Veddhi
outside was bit by avery poisonous snake in the
outskirts here, he shouted "Swami" before fainting,
Could I keep quiet?, The deadly poison had reached his
stomach, it had spread through his legs and almost
reached Naval, I entered his body, and cut my stomach
and gave my Blood to him, Swami's blood is pure, the
poison was contained, he survived". Swami went inside
and after 10 minutes came back with his robe dripping
in Blood, Everybody were shedding tears, Bhagawan then
said "I wore two robes today, the Second One to cover
the Blood on the first one, None of my People should
suffer on my account. There is no more blood, nothing,
I cured myself. Swami does anything and everything for
his people, Swami feels no pain at anytime, I feel
pain only when my people forget my teachings and go
astray. Swami understands and watches everything".

When Venkanna came limping the next day, Swami
materialised a gold penchant with 2 pearls in the
middle. When Venkanna died in August'18th'1993, the
Pendant mysteriously disappeared the minute he died,
It was never to be found again.
