Periodically we may "clean-up" the membership list. This list is meant to generate "real life" friendships between members. We do prefer PARTICIPATION. :) If you prefer to lurk, find a group that is more interesting. Hee.

This group is open to ANY stay at home mom in the Washington, DC area. However, we also welcome those in the mid-Atlantic region, including: Delaware, Pennsylvania, Eastern Shore of Maryland Virginia, and West Virginia.

We are diverse in many aspects, EXCEPT for believing that being a stay-at-home mom is the most important thing we can do for our children! The core members of this group do lean towards being conservative and following a religious lifestyle.

We LOVE to debate hot topics. There is no subject that is "off-limits" or too hot. Nothing is ever OT on this group. We are moms, but we are so much more than that, with lots of different thoughts and ideas about all kinds of things. Anything you want to talk about is A-OK with me. Bring it on!

Things that I do not tolerate are: name-calling and spam. Otherwise, use your best judgment if you overstep your bounds, believe me, someone will let you know!

We try to have "real live" get togethers every once in awhile, too. Several of us have been on this list since its inception in 1999 and consider ourselves friends, not just list members.
