Stephen Mills first brought this treasured fairytale to life in 1997 with a luscious score from Glazunov compiled especially for this ballet. Complete with a fairy Godmother, a handsome prince and an unforgettable ball, the magnificent staging, music and costumes - make this production a delight for all ages. Choreography by Stephen Mills; music by Alexander Glazunov. Musical accompaniment by The Austin Symphony Orchestra. The Long Center for the Performing Arts, 701 West Riverside Drive (at the corner of S. 1st Street). www.balletaustin.org/

Visions of a Bible, May 16, 8 p.m.

Carver Community Cultural Center, 226 N. Hackberry. Tickets are $31/41; please call box office to purchase: (210) 207-2234.
