This is a small group of women who meet to discuss the book The Sacred Romance, share our hearts with each other and pray for one another.

What is The Sacred Romance?
It's a book that my friend who has loved me for ten years and whose walk with the Lord I so respect, gave me and on the inside cover she wrote, "never has a book changed my way of thinking and looking at life as this book." She was right. Through reading this book, my heart has come alive and I've begun to experience the love of God not only as a theological certainty but as a transforming experience.

I think it's also important to say that all of us are busy and many of us are mothers, so we don't have a lot of time. There are two things we're going to do that will make it easy for busy women to participate:
* First, flexible meeting location.
We will meet by conference call Saturday mornings 7-9am central. Occasionally we will meet in person in Houston.
* Second, this is not a race. Some chapters take longer. All the groups I've been a part of all the books I've read that had a lasting change on my heart are the ones where we went slow and deep, allowing the Truth to seep down into our thirsty hearts.

Fun&Creative
Many chapters in the book mention movie clips & we'll be watching those mentioned in the book and sometimes we'll be suggesting our own movieclips & songs that portray God's love seeking our hearts.

We will also be taking the time each time we meet to share what's going on in our hearts and pray for each other. There's a lot to be said for women sharing and supporting each other. But when we add prayer to the mix, something really wonderful happens. Jesus shows up, and changes us and meets our needs. It's like a support group WITH POWER.
