This is a public discussion forum regarding the Sacramento Critical Mass bicycle demonstration and celebration. As of March 7, 2003, the rides gather on the first Friday of every month after 5 PM at the North Capitol Steps for a permitted rally in support of alternative transportation, before riders leave after 6 PM for an unpermitted ride through town.

Warning: police have been harassing the rides again during 2003. There is a long history of police harassment of such bicycle demonstrations in Sacramento.
