Description
This is a book club for Harry Potter enthusiasts living in and near Sacramento, California. While there are numerous Internet discussion forums for fans, this group is intended to be one whose members are interested in meeting in person to discuss the books with others. This is NOT a group for children, but for those who are too old to attend the numerous Harry Potter groups for young people--namely, adults! The focus is on intensive discussion of themes, characters, sources, and so on, as well as comparing books to films and sharing experiences, reactions, artifacts. We meet in local cafes, and no fees are required.
