Aya...his own cousin?, Does Shiso really think it's funny
when he punches someone through the stomach...ya know
those kinds of things. Ok I lost my train of

Same here. But Miaka has annoyed me soooo much I
just can't like her any more. In the begining I was
like she's ok...but when I got to the middle of the
series that's when I got peeved. My reasons why I don't
like her...may contain spoilers...*beware* <br>PS:
Don't read why I dislike Miaka if your a fan of hers.
This is only my opinion, and I'm saying sorry ahead of
time. I have the English dubbed version...it sucks..but
is cheaper than the Japanese version. For Fushigi
Yuugi I decided to give the english version a try, and
it might have mislead my view of Miaka...and if it
has...once more I'm sorry. I'm sorry for writing soo much
and insulting Miaka. OK I'm sorry but I'll get on
with

Chichiri tells his story how he got a scar she
just doesn't understand.<br>2)In the english dubbed
version she says to Nuriko that he's going to live on and

WOULDN'T PROTECT HER!*<br>3)Plus she makes the situation
for Tasuki worse...when she goes to Eiken trying to
retrieve the fan..causing her to become a
hostage.<br>4)She can't decide whether to marry Tamahome or not in
the beggining.<br>5)After the Nakago situation,
Tamahome tries to console Miaka and she just hurts his
feelings.<br>6)If the Suzaku Seven were in a life or death
situation...you know she would eat somethin' first. *You know
it's true.*<br>7)How could she have lost the shinzaho!
<br>8)To verify genders she has to grab somethin. <br>*I
won't give details*<br>9)Sometimes she can eat just
like a pig.<br>10)She doesn't listen to her
elders.<br>11)This whole situation wouldn't have happened if she
hadn't told Tamahome that she came back for him...not
for Yui. *She's your best friend...how can you say
that!*<br>12)She practically poisoned the Suzaku Seven with her
food.<br>13)She gets all the hunks to herself...*guess I'm
jealous...but so WHAT!*<br>14)She only cares about Tamahome.
Example: "I better stop them. Hothori might kill
Tamahome." *It's Tamahome...this and that...not that I blame
her.*<br>15)It's because of her Tasuki got hurt! She's so selfish
at times.<br>16)I can rant and rave all I want It
will take me a long while to finish.<br><br>I had the
biggest thing for Tamahome, but started to dislike him
for loving Miaka. I'm not jealous about that. It's
just that she can be so stupid...why would Tamahome
like her. So I began to like Tasuki. But then saw that
gorgeous Tooya! I totally went gaga! But I was never
jealous of Aya because she is so great! I think they're
perfect for each other. Aya is one of my favorite
characters. She's kind, funny, and she sticks to one
guy...not like Miaka.

This is from someone who has only seen about 1/3
the series and isn't any farther in the manga than
what Animerica Extra has put out (and am behind on
that anyway.) <br>I kind of like/hate Miaka (she has a
cute name ^_^.) I think she is a little more enjoyable
in the manga, but is an annoying character
frequently. But, she is the "pillar" holding up the series
since she is the main character, so you can't ignore
her. Sometimes I empathize with her, and sometimes I
am like "god, you are stupid, I can't believe these
guys want to hang around you!" She is not the only
happy/cheerful to annoyance character out there, so it doesn't
really make her stick out so much. I almost think of
someone like Hikaru from MKRayearth (I happen to be
watching it again now) as someone like her, and I know
there are others. <br>My fav guy so far in the series
is Chichiri, tho I havn't seen all of them, and I am
stull rather fond of Noriko from the beginning, since
she isn't focused on as much later. I want to finish
watching it, but it has been a long time since I saw the

interesting...but this is a subject I can talk a long time about.
For all who have watched Fushigi Yuugi...what do you
think of Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi? Do you like her? *I
personally don't, and I can give a lot of reasons why.~_~(no
offense)* I compare her with Aya once and a while...they
have a few things in common...I guess. But out of all
the characters Watase Yuu created...I would really
like to hear someone's response about
her...because...she BUGGS me sooooo much! *pulls hair in
agitation...then resumes a calm manner* And once more I mean no

Hi everyone, I just joined recently. I haven't
read any of Ayashi no Ceres yet, I am waiting for the
first volume to come in the mail, so I don't have much
to talk about yet, but after I read it I will let
you know what I thought! I am looking forward to it!
I don't know if anyone knows much about Earthian,
but I have a volume of that coming too. Ayashi no
Ceres is so hard to find the earlier volumes of now!!
It makes it hard to pick up, becuase I like to start
at the beginning, I was lucky to get the first
volume from someone from ebay. Anyone know a good place
for getting the earlier volumes?? I was impressed
with this club so far, you have a lot of
pictures!<br>Okay, a little about me, I am a sophmore in college and
am working my butt off taking 17 credits (I didn't
mean to take so much!) I am an anime/manga trading
card freak (I hope they make AnCeres cards!) and have
a web page that is constantly under construction (I
never have enough time to work on it to make it how I
really want ;_;) I also have 2 yahoo clubs, Anime
Trading Cards and the Island of Magic (about Unico and
other anime-style kids movies ^_^.) My current favorite
anime I have seen recently is Please Save My Earth (tho
Cowboy Beebop is growing on me, and I am always a big
Miyazaki fan.) My current fav English manga is a toss up
between Evangelion and Blade of the Immortal; and
Japanese manga is Dragon Half (I don't have much Japanese
manga right now, but I am working on getting more, I am
game for anything that has an online translation ^_^.)
I know a little Japanese, but not nearly enough to
do my own translations! Oh, by the by, I am
searching for a translation to the Maho Tsukai Tai manga by
Kadokawa. Okay, I've gabbed enough for now. <br><br>-Totoro

definately need a topic! So I chose Shuro! Shuro reminds me
of a lesbian Nuriko! She is one of my favorite
characters. And is an excellent comic relief in the manga.

dislike her? Do you think Watase Yuu should have left her
a girl or created her a boy? Or was it good that
she told the truth about herself or was it better
that she lived her life pretending she was a guy. Give

AnC art work sounds great! I was thinking that we
should have a contest with a specific theme for every
holiday. Such as Valentines Day. Someone for example could
draw Tooya and Aya. We'll the members vote which pic
is the best and the winner's picture would get
posted as our club picture for two weeks or somethin.
But I don't think we could do that because there
arn't that many members, plus there might not be enough
time to get the pictures in, but the idea could be a
possibility.

From what I hear it's official! In other news the
Ayashi no Ceres artbook will go on sale on march 25th in
japan. The first novel will come out on april 25th.
Also, watase-sensei's new manga series will be entitled
"imadoki!", and will be a campus romance comedy.
