Welcome to Research Triangle Swing Dance, a community forum for announcements of swing dance events in the RTP area of North Carolina, and sometimes you will find regional and national postings too.

Although the list is moderated, we routinely approve most all relevant, pleasant postings .. such as looking for a dance partner, bands advertising their gigs or newest CD, or an instructor posting a class schedule. Got a pair of dance shoes that you want to sell? Looking for a roommate to an upcoming roadtrip to workshops?

By Swing we mean dances such as: East Coast(Jitterbug), West Coast, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag. But please don't spam the list with non-swing or non-dance-related pitches.

We recommend everybody to be a member of both, CDC - Carolina Dance Club and TSDS - Triangle Swing Dance Society. Both of these groups have been very supportive in bringing bands and dance workshops to the area all in the pursuit of Swing Dancing.
