Results Summary: proposed platform voting method unanimously
approved; margin of acceptance came out in a tie. I'll include the
margin question again in the platform ballot.

Because there are so many planks in the platform, with so many
possible
variations of wording and presentation of ideal concepts, I propose
that we
present the platform as is (with a few final changes up to the time
the vote
commences), with each sentence having the
options: "agree" / "disagree-drop"
/ "disagree-reword."

Those passages that are approved will become part of a final draft,
while
those passages that fail will either be omitted (if the "drop" option
prevails) or presented for individual consideration with choices
given for
alternate wordings (if the "reword" option prevails) in a subsequent
vote.

carries), the following margin will be required.
