(I started an rp using this character, and although I'd still like to
get my own rpg up and running, I would also like to play him on
another list.  He's an action based character that resembles Mal from
Firefly.  I'm hoping to join an rpg where a strong player could be a
romantic interest for him as well as a group that will provide the
action he craves <g>)




NAME:  Rain Harris
AGE: 36

MARITAL STATUS:  Single
FAMILY:  Father deceased, mother left him after his
father's murder.  No siblings.

OCCUPATION: Letter Carrier for top level gov't agency
by day.  Head of the Knight Hawks by night.

PERSONALITY:  Rain is very uncomfortable talking about
himself, but is always willing to lend an ear to
anyone. Rain is a loner, who has few good friends and
prefers to keep it that way.  He hides his emotions
well with the exception of his temper.  He enjoys
drawing and can often be caught drawing or randomly
sketching a picture. He is very atheletic and enjoys
drawing in his spare time.  An experienced marksman
and born leader.

BACKGROUND:  Son of a minister, Rain was raised to be
a god fearing, god loving child. At the age of six,
his father was attacked in his own church by a group
of robbers looking for quick cash.  Rain was the only
witness to his father's brutal murder, a memory he
carries with him close to his heart. Rain was also
attacked that night, a knife driven into his chest by
one of the masked men. Left for dead, Rain
miraculously survived, only to have his mother abandon
him a few weeks later. Raised by his father's best
friend, a Catholic priest named Father Jacob, Rain
grew to be a formidable young man.  Still carrying the
cross of despair on his shoulders, Rain vowed to
avenge his father's death, seeking justice for all.
Using the very church that his father had been
murdered in, Rain transformed a series of existing
tunnels into an elaborate fortress beneath the holy
ground.  By day, Rain's followers carry out their
every day lives, but by night, the band of justice
seekers try to bring justice to an unjust world.

Hair: Feathery dirty blond hair, with streaks of rich brown and
golden. It's layered, but the longest strips only reach his chin.
The bangs are kept down to curve around his face, highlighting his
high cheek bones. The rest is kept spiked up.

Eyes: Deep earthy brown, something seems to be hidden behind them.
There is knowledge in his eyes that no one his age should have,
often they appear clouded over, glazed with the reality of life.

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 170 lbs

Physique: Lithe is about the only way to describe him. His shoulders
are a little broad, but still seemingly slim, just about every thing
about him is slender, but then again parts of him are definitely not
small or slender. Muscles show under his skin even at rest, hiding
his delicate bone structure. Just looking at him you know he's
strong. His skin also seems to hold an eternal tan, not terribly
dark, but noticeable.

Distinguishing Features: A small pentagram tattoo rests on his right
wrist and there are also a few small randomly placed scars gotten
from his childhood.

Gear: His Palm Trio 650 (specially cased in black with a silver
pentagram), and he always has a pair of designer sunglasses

Clothing: Forever changing, he has to keep up to date. He doesn't
care what color, if it has feathers or any thing else (although
sequins will stay off of his list), the only thing that matters is
that he's the first to have it and the first to show it off.


Other

Powers: He is a post-cognate clairvoyant meaning he can see things
that have already happened. Seeing as he was born with the gift, he
needs only to concentrate to use this ability, it has proven useful
on many occasions seeing as it lets him look into the past of any
thing (including any being he comes across.) Because of this he
knows quite a few things he never should. But, even though it was
given as a gift to use for good he manipulates it to get what ever
he wants.

Weapons: He has a very scary attraction to knives, real and
decorative. Knives, swords, and blades of all kinds decorate his
apartment. And he knows how to wield most of them. He also has a
smaller collection that he uses only for himself and his hobbies.

Weaknesses: He is only human, aside from that he is extremely vain.

Personality: Where to start. He has a sadistic taste in women, he
likes to find the ones who have very low confidences, make them feel
good then crush them. Actually, he likes to crush just about any one
he can. Not to mention that he's a master black mailer. Smooth to
the core, you'd have to be able to read his mind to know when he's
bluffing, although it's rare that he ever bluffs. Every one has
skeletons in their closet that he can get to. Confidence radiates
off of him, every one turns to look when he enters a room. He is so
charming, he could insult any one and they'd take it with a blush.

Sexuality: He is strictly heterosexual, but finds it fun to appear
bisexual

Occupation: He dabbles in a little bit of every thing, mostly acting
and modeling.

Properties to note: He lives in a very posh apartment in Manhattan,
and owns both a red Mercedes and a black Honda Goldwing. Aside from
that, he rents out a studio apartment near Broadway, where he hosts
his parties.

History: He was born and raised in Los Angelus, California where he
started his acting career young. At the age of six he stared in a
major film, of course his part was short with only three lines but
it started him off. He had no doubt in his mind that he would be
great one day, he wanted every one to know his name, for girls to
dream about Acario, to put posters of him on their wall.

Roslyn was always there for him. They met in the first grade, and
subsequently were the only two who could stand each other. He
treated her like a sister more then he did his own little sister.
But then again, she was the only one who knew his secret. He saw
things...he never understood it, he didn't know what it was and any
time he tried to tell his parents they thought he was making it up.

Most of the things he saw gave him nightmares, he saw people being
killed, children being raped, and a lot of blood. Until he was
twelve he couldn't block the images out, they would just randomly
come to him. It wasn't until he was seventeen that he started to
learn to control it. And all of that time, Roslyn was the only one
who knew. In the end that was for the best, if he had persisted with
his parents they would have sent him away to some quack, and he
would have been doped up the rest of his life.

After graduation, he moved in with Roslyn and had a short
relationship with her. They had given their virginity to each other
years before, but it took another year for Roz to realize that she
preferred women. There were never any hard feelings, after all their
relationship hadn't been one-on-one; Acario was always a ladies man.

But, he struggled for years to get noticed. Sure, he looked nice,
and he had a couple of films under his belt, but child stars don't
usually make it big when they get old. There were a million faces
out there and he was just one of them. He fell into the porn
industry, until four years ago he was noticed. With his abilities it
was easy enough to have his past brushed under the proverbial rug.

And now, his dreams have come true. Girls all over the world know
his name, throw themselves at him when he makes a public appearance.
He has an official fan club that just last month had two thousand
members in it. Life is good.

His family stayed in LA, easily forgotten, but he was able to
persuade Roz to move last summer. She works as an interior decorator
for the snobs of the city and owns an apartment in the same complex
as Acario's studio apartment.

Hair Color/Style: deep, blood red – a color inherited from her
grandmother. It's extremely curly falling just above mid back. It's
usually done either held back with a ribbon head band or done into pig
tails, both styles sporting large bows.

Eyes: sugary brown. Once you get over the design on them one tends to
notice that they are sometimes very child like eye's for a girl her
age and other times very old.

Marks/Scars/Tattoos: Permanently tattooed onto her face is dark black
eyeliner, it dripping down one eye to look like two black tears, one
very small and near her eye, the other trailing down to her cheek. Her
lips were done as well, eternally black.


Physical Appearance: She's a small girl, skinny and just beginning the
process of maturing into a woman. Her body is still narrow like a
child's but she's getting taller and developing a tiny bust (which she
is very proud of). Her face is still retaining some of it's chubbiness
though and were it not for the make up she would be adorable. She
still is, once you look past the dark tattooing on her ivory skin, but
many people don't.

Philosophy: "……." Smiles, tugs on your sleeve and gestures to the nice
sunny day outside before running out to greet it head on.

Magic: N/A  She can't use the magic item she unknowingly owns yet (she
wouldn't know how). It is, however made for the channeling of earth
type magics

Carried Possessions: A small leather bound book with a little side
compartment built in to hold her pen and ink. It's her diary and it
goes where ever she does.

Clothing and Armor: Most commonly seen in a pale yellow dress with a
square neck cut. The skirt comes down just below the knee's and bits
of frilly petticoat can be seen beneath it. The sleeves puff out
slightly at the shoulders and then continue down the arm fitting
snugly. A pale purple ribbon ties around her waist with a large bow in
the back. Her legs are covered with white stockings and she wears a
pair of brown ankle high boots.


Weapons: She doesn't carry it anymore but she used to keep an over
sharpened letter opener on her, the handle made of gold with the
design of an owl carved into it. The owls claw grips a magic stone She
still has it, it's under her bed though she's not sure herself why she
keeps it. It's not exactly a momento of good times. Perhaps it's for
the `just in case.' ( Having never shown it to anyone still living, no
one's realized what the stone in the opener is.)

Likes: Music boxes, the opera and ballet, the inn, Glenna,  spring
flowers, swimming in the summer, animals, writing, practicing her
balance and grace ontop of the horse tie beam (which she often gets
scolded for), sweets, playing, Bubbles, when people don't look at her
funny.

Dislikes: gawkers and whisperer's, rowdy drunks, thunder and lightning
storms, scraping her knee's, thinking about the past, the sounds of
any clock chiming the hour, dolls, being called Catherine, needles

Merits: sweet and charming. Smiley, willing to help where she can,
eager to learn, extremely curious, playful, not easily deterred,
catches on to things quickly. Talented artist, especially for a girl
her age. Excellent card player.

Flaws: a little clingy, pushed to great anger by strange and seemingly
normal things, prone to sudden violent outbursts, can be down right
childish. Doesn't speak. And can be very stubborn, believing she knows
better than others.

Worst Fear: nighttime storms. She cowers in their wake and is known to
curl up in Glenna's bed when they occur. Also, dolls. She doesn't
really fear them as much as hold them in great contempt. Don't put one
near her. She will destroy it.

Personality:  Cathy is…difficult at times if you don't understand her.
Sometimes she will act like she's only 5 and others she will act like
she's in her high teens. She doesn't speak, she doesn't make much
sound at all really, rarely laughing or even making little surprised
noises when caught off guard. This is a mental issue though, one that
she may over come in time. She does manage to effectively communicate
what she wants with gestures, as though she's constantly doing little
mini performances that she seems to enjoy. She's very imaginative and
doesn't seem to mind playing by herself one iota. She's bouncy and
smiles a lot. She tries to avoid anything dark (with the exception of
the things she paints) and prefers to be around flowers and music and
pretty ribbons. She doesn't mind a go in the mud either though. She
looks to be perfectly amiable…until for some reason she's giving you a
look so hard and full of contempt you wonder if she's already decided
where to hide your body. If you already know her and she likes you,
it's best to just stay away from her for about an hour to let her cool
off. If this is your first impression…watch out. Cute and innocent she
may seem but you'd be surprised what she would do if she feels she
must, as life has tought her true problems can only be solved with
violence. Night is a particularly tender time for her, when she gets
antsy and a little moody. Generally though she does try her best to be
good and move forward in life, instead of looking back.

History:  ((sorry but this is going to be a bit long >.<))
Cathy was born into an upper crust family, the first and only child of
Westington and Francheca Maydalis.

   The marriage between her parents was an arranged matching, neither
one finding any true affection for the other at the time or ever. It
was unfortunate for the man Westington that his bride was more than a
little insane, a dark twisted soul. She was very good at hiding her
demented joys, anyone who met her found her charming and charismatic.

    She would normally stick to the torment of animals – cats, mice,
whatever she could manage to get at. She would have the animal
corpses, cut into little ribbons, disposed of with the usual trash. In
a room she kept for herself, hidden and locked away from her husbands
eye's (it had previously been her parents home and she kept the
knowledge of it's secret rooms to herself), she kept a vast collection
of dolls. Many had broken off limbs, eye's removed, marks and scars
drawn on with black paint.

    It was about three years after Cathy was born that she was revealed
for what she was to Westington. After serving Francheca the wrong tea
while the woman was in a dark mood, an unfortunate maid was killed by
her Lady. Francheca had possessed nothing but a fork with her at the
time and had driven it into the girls neck multiple times, anger
subsiding into laughter. It would be on this day that Westington came
home early from his daily ride to find his wife sitting ontop of a
dead serving maid laughing her head off while his little daughter hid
behind a curtain, sobbing.

   Westington was a good man and he had always felt guilty that he did
not love Francheca. It came to his mind that a loveless marriage was
what had driven his wife to insanity and, feeling wholly responsible,
could not take action against her. He had the body hidden and all
evidence of what had happened removed. Thankfully no one seemed to
have born witness to the act and all house hold servants were fired
and replaced.

  Cathy would be easily frightened and moved to tears for about two
years after that though she recovered fairly well from the experience.

    Still, despite not wishing to punish Francheca, he knew he could
not allow her to hurt anyone else and kept her confined to a certain
wing of the house. Westington became the important figure in Cathy's
life for years. He played with her and took her to see shows or ride
with him. He got her an art instructor. He would always be with them
whenever she spent time with her mother which was only  for a few
hours three times a week. Cathy never liked those visits but she
always went with a smile. Daddy loved Mommy, so to make him happy she
must love Mommy to.

      Her confinement made Francheca very resentful, though Westington
often came to her and was always very kind. She tricked the man into
thinking she was better by the time Cathy was six and the three
assumed the illusion of a happy family.

      Now free to move as she pleased, Francheca spent a lot of time
with her daughter, something that would only ever make the little girl
uncomfortable and afraid. She would sing songs of terrible things to
her in a lullaby tune, and she often showed Cathy her collection of
dolls, keeping the girl in the room while she detailed the made up,
horrible stories behind each one.

     Cathy never said anything to her father about this. She loved him
and being a child she didn't understand that his affection for her
mother was all out of guilt. She didn't want to say anything about
Francheca that would hurt his feelings. She was, however, smart enough
to understand that there was something very wrong with her mother. She
was dangerous.

   It was at eight years old that Cathy finally managed to get decent
amounts of time to herself. She would spend this time exploring bits
of their home she normally didn't go in. In the basement store room
was where she found the letter opener. It was inside an old,
intricately carved wooden box that had been hidden inside a hallow
stone in the wall. With it were various old love letters and a ring.
The love letters were between her grandmothers sister, Mariana and a
man called Eaini. Eaini was apparently a very charming rouge who,
though traveling, loved his unfortunately married Mariana. He had sent
the letter opener to Mariana for safe keeping. The ring was a sign of
their affection. Cathy, being eight, had no real interest in the love
story contained in the letters or the ring. She was, however, very
much interested in the letter opener. It was a very sharp letter
opener and she could use it to protect both herself and her silly
father from Francheca should she need to and if caught with it – it
was just a letter opener. Not a weapon.


    Things continued along in that fashion for a few months, Cathy
always with the letter opener. It was a gray afternoon that Westington
discovered his wife's doll collection, she sitting in it and painting
her latest doll with animal blood, one that bore a striking
resemblance to their daughter. Being pushed to great stress the man
grabbed his wife by the arm and literally threw her from the room and
broke many of the dolls in his anger. Despite his greatest efforts the
woman was just mad. He had her confined again and called up his
brother, requesting that he come stay in their home and look after
Cathy while he went to go find some arrangements for Francheca in
another town.

   This was where everything would go terribly wrong. Francheca had
much of the staff under her thumb by use of coin and they happily
helped her escape the room she had been locked in. Francheca poisoned
Westington's brother and had his body buried 10 feet under the soil of
the garden, while a storm raged outside and the hour rang on the
clock.

     Cathy, terrified and feeling helpless like any child would at only
8 years old did her best to escape the house and call for help. She
was caught, however, by one of the women her mother kept on pay. It
didn't take long for Cathy to realize the servant was trying to kill
her and the little girl managed to shove the woman down the stairs,
where her neck broke, just before two men servants grabbed hold of
her. Cathy couldn't escape them but her mother prevented them ending
her life. Francheca had wanted Cathy gone so the stupid child couldn't
open her mouth but she was impressed at Cathy's killing the other
woman and decided to keep her.

   It was that night that Cathy would receive the dark make over she
would live with the rest of her life. She had certainly done her share
of kicking and screaming while they strapped her down but she stayed
perfectly still as the man her mother had sent for tattooed her face,
terrified that the needle would slip and do terrible damage. When it
was done Cathy looked exactly like one of the dolls her father had
shattered. She was then locked up in the secret doll room that was
hidden behind one of the giant mirrors in the dance hall.

    When Westington came home the next morning his wife murdered him
with a hatchet to the head. During the investigation the servants
would testify that Westington's brother killed him and took off with
Cathy. A hit man took care of the man Westington had met with in the
next town over so there was no one left to testify to Francheca's
insanity.

   In the next two years of her life Cathy would live with her mother,
locked away in the doll room whenever people visited. Her mother would
insist the girl look and act like a doll. This meant Cathy was not
permitted to make a sound unless told to and her face had to remain
frozen in a vacant, emotionless expression else she be beaten. She
often stood as an assistant to her mothers leisure activities
torturing things and occasionally doing something very nasty to the
servants children.

    It was when Cathy discovered, at 10, that her mother was trying to
court a husband that she decided once and for all that she had to do
something about her mother. She couldn't let her lure some innocent
person into the sick twisted building that was their home. She had
been far to afraid for her own life to try before but now…she just
couldn't let it go on. It would be difficult, she was always being
watched as her mother didn't trust her even now. But some of the
servants in the house were no longer so keen on their mistress but
many were to afraid to try and leave. It took months but Cathy finally
managed to convince one of the more elderly staff members to help her.
Old Riona just couldn't resist the silent girls tears. They adjusted
the door of the secret doll room so that it would appear to lock, but
would indeed remain open. It was another stormy night that Cathy snuck
out of the room she was supposed to be locked inside and crept her way
to her mothers bed room, the sharp letter opener in hand. It was a
quick anti-climatic end as Cathy plunged it into Francheca's sleeping
body. Francheca woke with the pain but Cathy just kept on stabbing.
The last words she would hear from her mother as the clock chimed
midnight was :

  "You little bitch."

    With tears rolling down her expressionless face the girl walked
away from her mother's corpse and pushed over a candle, letting the
fire slowly spread. She wanted the house and everything in it gone.

    When the authorities came again to the house the truth would be
revealed, told by Riona with Cathy's constant nodding of confirmation.
Due to the circumstances though, she now had no where to go. No one in
her family wanted her in their house especially since she was
supposedly broke with everything in the home - bank notes, ownership
papers ect, gone.

     A kind woman would adopt the child though, Glenna the wife of the
owner of the Bouncing Orange inn. She remembered the little girl from
when she used to pass by the inn with her father on their outings and
she had always liked her. She had one son and since had become
infertile and she'd always wanted a daughter.

    It took a little while but Cathy settled in with her new family
and, eventually, began showing emotion again until she was really the
most expressive person around though speech has yet to return. Cathy
loves everyone at the inn but her favorite by far is Glenna, she
tended to follow the woman around like a little chick for a while.

   Cathy can, however, still call upon the doll face when she chooses
to and it has made her a formidable card player. She plays with the
grown men who come by the inn for drinks and often wins. She's become
a sort of attraction and it brings in a lot of business that more than
earns her keep. With the money she wins from these games she likes to
buy supplies for painting. The paintings can be very dark or very
innocent. Sometimes they are portrayals of good and evil and how they
may not always be what they seem. Sometimes she does landscapes. The
paintings that people don't end up buying off her end up hanging in
the rooms of the inn.

    One would think Cathy would be under a very dark cloud after all
she's been through but she's actually very bubbly. It seems like she's
out trying to make up for the lost time and childhood years before
anyone else can try to snatch it away from her. She does have her
moments though. Once when a very drunk man at the inn grabbed Glenna's
arm roughly the girl hit him over the head with a plate and knocked
him out cold without so much as a blink's time spared. She gets
nervous of loosing this new peace and won't tolerate aggression
towards Glenna or the family. Many of the kids around her won't play
with her because she's creepy looking and she occasionally gets picked
on but she doesn't mind as long as it doesn't get out of hand, as it
does once in awhile. Harold, Glenna's son, sticks up for her when he
sees it so she's almost grateful for the teasing. It reminds her that
no matter how many people will never like her there will always be
three people at least who do.

   It was after about a year with the family that Cathy (or Rin-Rin as
Glenna and Harold call her) gave Terry, Glenna's husband, a couple of
very important slips of paper she had taken with her out of the house.
They were bond slips for the safe houses in which her parents had
stored a good deal of money. Other people might have used such a thing
greedily, as he was her guardian now and could access it, but he
didn't. He just used it to get things for Cathy that she might be
needing which Cathy was glad of. It proved further to her that she was
in the company of good people.


   Still she doesn't like living where there are memories of her old
life and is patiently waiting for when she may strike out on her own
and get away from it.





Sample Writing:

    "Oh you've got to be kidding me!! She won again! That's it this is
a cold deck!!"

    Cathy smiled pleasantly at the enraged newcomer. The locals knew
better than to underestimate her but the travelers didn't - and as a
result always lost. The man was red in the face with anger, silly guy
putting down a good deal of money in the game's first round and not
seeming to learn anything from being beaten. Harold happened to be
passing by and stopped as he heard the yelling.

   "Is there a problem sir?" he asked amiably. He knew his adopted
sister was giving him the run around and no matter how many times it
happened it was always funny to see the people get angry at being
stomped by a little girl. She was a card demon.

   "Your damn right there's a problem! The game is rigged!!"

" If you think she's cheating why don't you go ahead and shuffle the
cards this round?"

   "I will! And we'll use my cards!"

   An hour later the fuming customer had lost again spectacularly and
went to bed early out of spite. Cathy grinned as he left and as the
other men around the table began to set up for a fifth round she held
her hands up and tilted her head to the side, letting them know she
was done for the night, thanks. A couple of the more friendly guys
tried to get her to stay but she just smiled and shook her head. She
was all carded out and she really didn't like to hold her dolls face
for to long. She patted one guy on the back with a thumbs up as he
joked that maybe now the rest of them would have a chance at earning
some cash tonight.

    She helped Harold clean up a few plates on her way to go see
Glenna, taking them back into the kitchens and washing them along side
of him. Glenna smiled at the two as the did so.

   "How'd you do out there tonight Rin-Rin?" She asked warmly as she
stirred a pot of stew.

  Cathy leaned back and put one hand on her hip, lashes lowering a bit
and lips forming a superior smirk while she gave the OK sign. She was
already deciding what she would do with her newly attained ryn and
decided Glenna could really use a new apron. She did enjoy getting

finally learn not to tangle with you."

   "Which will be never." Said Terry as he walked into the kitchen with
a good natured grin.

"You know I don't like you playing with all those men..your starting
to get older after all...." Cathy made a face and splashed some dish
water at him in protest. She was only twelve! Thirteen soon, sure, and
she was already developing a chest that Glenna said would turn out
very nice as she got older but she doubted anyone she played cards
with was thinking anything inappropriate about her - aside from maybe
knocking her one for beating them constantly.

   "Hey! Hold your fire! I just mean maybe Harold should start playing
with you."

   Harold made a great groan.

"Nope. Not happening. I refuse to be publicly beat by the person *I*
taught to play. You would just love that wouldn't you Rin-Rin? I see
that smirk! You wanna go? Huh?"

   He was playfully raising his dukes and doing a silly sort of dance
that was supposed to be foot work. Cathy grinned and put up her own
fists. The two moved around in a circle before Cathy suddenly grabbed
a dish towel and threw it in Harold face before making a run for it.
She hid behind Glenna's skirts, giving her an innocent pleading look.
Glenna laughed.

   "All right enough playing around! We have an inn to run! Harold go
help Linara with the tables. Rin-Rin I believe it's your bed time
young lady."

     Cathy pouted. She didn't want to go to bed! It wasn't that
late...OK maybe it was. But she wasn't tired! She found herself
yawning. OK so maybe she was a little tired. But only a little. Still
she stomped a foot and pointed at Harold who was allowed to stay up
all he wanted.

   "Ah-ah don't you start! He gets to stay up because he's three years
older than you and 16 in another 3 months! You are twelve. No! Not
thirteen yet missy. Now go! March that little bottom to bed!"

Brief History:



The Angelus Clan is no ordinary Pure Blood family. Not only does
this family stress the importance of Purity, but also of power. The
leader of the family is almost always "Michael" in honor of the man
who united them together. Even if the new leader is not truly named
after him, they will dub themselves with that name. Power is
everything, rather it be Physical, Magical or Political, if a member
has none of these qualities, they are disowned.



ANGELUS LEADER TIME LINE/HISTORY


[Michael Angelus Sr.] 1523 - 1614

Moved from England to America and united the family. He constructed
the Angelus Clan Estate using the combined funds of all the family
members. To the end of his reign, the family was nearly bankrupt.



[Michael Angelus II] 1614 - 1616

In response to the declining wealth of the family, Michael II
gathered all the males of the family and performed a raid on a
Goblin village kidnapping around 200 goblins. Many Angelus Males,
including himself died.



[Michael Angelus III*] 1616 -1692

Originally named Maximillion Angelus, he took command of the family
after Michael II's death and dubbed himself Michael III. During his
reign, he was able to carefully force breed the goblins using the
imperious curse. After the birth of 120 goblin offspring, he ordered
the execution of all the parents, so they could raise the children
to be passive slaves to make gold, increasing the family wealth 100
fold. After his death he remained as a ghost of the estate.



[Michael Angelus IV*] 1692 – 1695

Often referred to as the most terrible Leader the Family ever had.
Christopher Angelus, Dubbed Michael IV, ordered the invasion of
Salem Massachusetts after the famed, "Salem Witch Trials". Too true
no witch or wizard was harmed, but Michael IV took this as a direct
insult to all the Magical Community blurting out rants to the
Magical Community such as:



"It matters not the effectiveness of an assassination, only the
thought behind it. These foolish Muggles think they can handle the
power of Witches and Wizards, I say we show them differently!"



"They seem to enjoy senselessly killing each other; I see no reason
in helping them finish the job by killing them all."



The Ministry of Magic (Who still had power in America at the time)
Invaded the Angelus Estate and arrested all members who were known
to help in the Salem Village slaughters. Michael IV on the other
hand chose to die fighting. Most of the members arrested pleased not
guilty, and claimed to be under the imperious curse. The Ministry
confiscated the Family funds saved in the Wizarding bank.



[Michael Angelus V*] 1695-1795

As much as Donald Angelus (Dubbed Michael V) had agreed with Michael
IV, he knew it was foolish to act so bluntly. He did his best
through his reign to improve the family name, as it had been
labeled "Darkest Wizarding Family in History" by the local press. He
then created the Family Rings, and the Angelus Almanac, a powerful
Magical book intended for the leader of the family. With this book,
one is able to access everything about the family, from Biographies
to Bank Accounts. He was also the one to institute a new secret
location under the estate to keep the families gold and goblins.
After 100 years of leadership, he stepped down.



[Michael Angelus VI*] 1796- 1873

Alvin Angelus was dubbed Michael VI by his predecessor. He was a
strong leader during the American Revolution, which even affected
the Magical Community; he was able to rally a small army consisting
of much more than family members. Though Michael VI used Dark
measures to help win the battle between American and English
Wizards, and though a lot of people didn't approve, they did nothing
about it seeing as how the war was won.



[Francisco Angelus] 1874-1956

The first Angelus leader who refused to dub himself Michael. During
his reign he did nothing short of trying to fully reinstate the
Family name. He insisted many family members to begin work for the
new American Government. Seeing many Angelus Members working for the
country, and not fighting agents it. Also, he believed that with
enough members in the Government, they would virtually run the
country.



[Michael Angelus I] 1957 - 2001

The first actual leader in 384 years to have the real name of
Michael Angelus. The family decided to re-start the Roman numeral
system for the leaders. Michael I began the Family Decry that No
member of the family could use members of the government for
personal benefit, such as get them out of legal troubles, to allow
all Government Officials within the family to keep their
credibility. Too bad for him that shortly after he was arrested for
charges of Dealing in Dark Arts.



[Maximillion Angelus] 2001-2017

Seeing as how Michael I's hair, Michael II was still a toddler, the
spirit of Michael III, or Maximillion Angelus took un official
control of the family until Michael II was fit to lead them. He
ordered Michael II to live with his Uncle Tommy Angelus (one of the
only members who did not live at the estate). 16 years afterwards,
when Tommy Angelus and his wife were arrested on Dark Arts Dealings,
Maximillion was intending on having Michael II live in the estate
with the rest of the family, but Michael II disappeared without a
trace, taking the Angelus Almanac with him.



[Michael Angelus II] 2017-Present

After killing his father for lying and betraying the family, Michael
took control of the family, with Maximillion angelus (Michael III)
as his chief advisor. This brought back the prosperity back into the
family, as he was able to unlock all the frozen assets of the family
who were living off personal income. Many were skeptical of him
taking command seeing as how he hasn't even graduated school.







HISTORY OF MICHAEL ANGELUS II


Michael Angelus II was born December 11, 2001 to Michael and
Angelica Angelus. Shortly after his birth though, his parents were
convicted of Dealing in Dark arts, and were sentenced to Life in
Prison. Before being locked away forever, Michael's father hid the
Angelus Almanac and willed his son all of his fortune.



Maximillion Angelus, who had taken control of the family after
Michael I was jailed, ordered Tommy Angelus, Michael's Uncle, to
take care of him until he was old enough to take over the family.
Maximillion also ordered the search and seizure of everything in
Michael I's home, in hopes of attaining the Angelus Almanac, but
turn up nothing.



Tommy Angelus and his wife were not pleased after Michael was dumped
on their doorstep, but it was an order from the Leader, an order
they dare not refuse. They looked on the brighter side of things,
like the fact they help power over young Michael's bank account,
which held all of his mother and fathers gold. They never spoke of
this to him.



Michael lived a normal life until he was two years old and began to
show signs of magic. With no warning at all, he would begin to emit
small shockwaves that would push smaller objects away or knock
things off shelves. Tommy and his wife dismissed this as normal for
a Wizarding boy, and soon it would settle down, but they were wrong.



The older Michael got, the powerful they became, and the more linked
they were with his emotions. By the time he was 5 the shockwaves
were so strong, they could break things they came into contact with,
and knock a grown man on his rear. On top of that, mysterious fires
would start all around the house, all doings of young Michael. Tommy
Angelus tried to combat this problem by placing an Anti-Magic Ward
on Michael, but it was quickly shattered when he lost his temper and
blew off the front wall of his room.



Finally fed up with having to constantly repair everything in their
house, Tommy requested that young Michael's cousin, Augmn Angelus,
to come and help train Michael to control his powers. Through the
training, Augmn found out Michael had enormous potential. They
learned that the magic Michael was using was not normal magic, but
Raw, Un-focused magic that was all over the place.



Michael would train with Augmn all hours of the day, becoming
stronger and learning to control his abilities more. During the
night, he would sneak into his Uncle's study and learn magical
spells. Through all his training, Michael learned how to use more
forms of Raw Magic, as well as cast the spells he learned through
books, without a wand.



When Michael was 10, he visited the Angelus Estate for the first
time. He was amazed by it, especially the seemingly endless library
they had. Under Maxamillion's orders, no one was to inform him he
was the hair of the Clan, he feared this information might corrupt
him and he would turn out like his father.



Michael soon started school at Salem Institute of Magic in Salem,
Massachusetts at the age of 11. There is was apparent to all of his
teachers that he was quite advanced. In his first year in Salem, he
came in 3rd place in the School wide Dueling competition. (Losing to
a highly advanced 7th year)



Michael didn't have many friends through school, his one and only
goal was to grow in power. In his 2nd year in Salem, he was stronger
than half of the current 7th years, winning 1st in the School wide
Dueling competition.



In Michael's 3rd year, he had nearly mastered wandless magic; he
then turned his attention to his Raw Magical Abilities. Through the
next 2 years, he learned how to adjust the strength of shockwaves,
focus shockwaves in one direction, and began to learn how to amplify
his own castled spells.



In Michael's 5th year, he began to learn three powerful spells:
Imperius Curse, Cruciatus Curse, and The Killing Curse, three spells
he had found while reading over the summer while visiting the Family
Estate. He managed to master the first two with ease, but the
Killing curse Michael could not get the hang of.



During the end of his 5th year, Tommy and Samantha Angelus were both
charged with Dealing in Dark arts, and were both given a Life
sentence in the same jail as Michael's parents. Upon hearing the
news, Maximillion quickly changed custody of Michael to Augmn, who
he knew both would enjoy. But Maximillion thought it would be best
to tell Michael this after meeting his parents for the first time.



During the meeting, in a private chat with his father, he was filled
in on EVERYTHING. The Family legacy, him being the hair to the
family, the money he left for Michael, and everything about the
Angelus Almanac, including where to find it.



Michael left the Jail before the rest of his family and immediately
retrieved the Angelus Almanac. Seeing as how part of his fathers
blood flowed through him, he was able to somewhat use it, but not to
its fullest extent. He withdrawed 15million from the family's
personal bank, the same amount his father left him and decided to
leave to England as his father suggested…



"You see son, once they all know you have the Almanac, they will
hunt you down, and probably kill you. Once I die in here, it is up
for grabs to who takes over. Get out of the country; let no one know
where you go. When the crystal turns white that means I will be
dead, you'll know what to do then."



Michael escaped to England where he attended Hogwarts for his 6th
schooling year.  During his winter holiday he returned home to
settle the dispute with his family. As it seemed, his father had
lied about his family wanting to kill him. Enraged with this
betrayer, Michael killed his father and ascended to the Leader of
the Angelus Clan.



During his second half of school, Michael fought the newly arisen
Dark Lord Diomedies. In this fight, regardless of constant use of
the killing curse, Michael was killed. But due to his family making
a Horcrux for him, Michael was reborn once more, Revenge planted
deeply in his mind. Diomedies…Must….Die.



THE ANGELUS ALMANAC


The Angelus Almanac, developed by Michael V is a powerful Magical
Object powered by the Leaders Blood. The book cover is made of a
strong black magical metal with a large ruby on the front cover.
This book has records of ALL family members, access to all family
accounts and documents (Bank accounts, Investment Shares, Land/Home
deeds) and also the Family Vault (Which only the leader with the
almanac can access), where the collection of Goblin gold is kept.
Family members willingly give this information to the leader, for
every year, the family vault is emptied and equally sheared through
out the entire family. Also, with this power, the leader has the
ability to erase any evidence that a person is part of the family
(In case someone is disowned) in which the leader can strip that
person of everything.



The ceremony for becoming the leader is quite simple. When the first
leader dies or steps down, the ruby fades into a crystal, and the
book seals itself shut. The new leader slices the palm of his hand,
and places it on the crystal. The book absorbs the new leader's
blood, and activates once more, turning the crystal back into a ruby
(Or filling with the leader's blood.) This makes it nearly
impossible for anyone aside from the leader to use the Almanac
(Aside from any offspring that the leader has, seeing as how they
shear a part of his blood and they have limited access.)





RAW MAGICAL ENERGY

The magic a child uses for the first time is wild magic that is
driven from emotions. Most children do not understand how it
happens, just that it does. Michael on the other hand realized how
to somewhat harness this power at a young age and improve it over
time.



MICHAEL'S RAW MAGICAL SKILLS



- Shockwave: This ability has been with Michael since his first
experiences with magic. This is an unrefined version of the
Banishing Charm but has a full 360* radius. Through his years of
training, this spell is easily cast without so much as a glance. The
control of this ability Michael has is remarkable; it can be weak
enough to mimic a faint breeze, or create a force so strong that it
seems like an explosion. Can also break binding spells.

- Forcewave: This is another ability Michael has had for quite a
long time. It is similar to `shockwave' yet is bound to one
direction based on sight. This ability is not as powerful as its
predecessor, but is not a skill to be trifled with. With this
ability Michael is able to pin someone agents a wall, demolish solid
objects, and re-pave landscape.

- Magical Intensification: Michael is quite fond of putting his
emotions behind his spells, and the results normally end up in
spells coming out much stronger than normal. Such emotions that
trigger this effect would be anger, rage, aggravation,
determination, and desperation. Most of the time though he is
normally always aggravated.

- Magical Sense:  This is a mundane skill Michael has yet to fully
tap into. Michael is able to sense power spikes in magical energy,
weather it be from a person or an object. The amount of energy
required to trigger this ability on its own must be massive, such as
an ancient enchanted item, or an unforgivable curse. When Michael
focuses this ability, he is able to sense magical energy in general
and see a persons aura.

- "Shotgun" : This is an ability Michael picked up by a large amount
of study and practice of the Calculation Spell work Theory. He is
now able to multiply almost any spell by how ever many he wishes,
yet with boundaries. The strength of the spell determines the
maximum amount of spells cast, and the amount of spells cast
determines the power, because with more multiples, the less power
each multiple has. Michael seeks to improve this skill greatly.

Background:

Kiore was born as Regales Principessa Kiore Adrianna Gemstone to the
King and Queen of Draconis 26 years ago. She is the eldest child and
is heir to the throne. She was the second born of twins though her
brother died shortly after birth. Some say that he was assassinated
by an enemy of the family though that has not been proven.

By the time she was 12 she was being trained to take over the
government by her parents. Then her life changed. Her parents had
another child. Her sister. Regales Principessa L'ian Gemstone. This
changed her life. The new hatchling took over her parents attention
leaving the 12 year old Kiore lonely and looking for guidance.

She found it in a young adult Draconis. He was of the Gemstone family
and was a gold Draconis as well. His name was P'iarn.  The 56 year
old Draconis took her under his wing and they were often seen in the
training yard as he insisted on teaching her not just politics, but
self defense.

The rumors of her brothers death were not unfounded when at 14 she
was attacked while walking in the forest that surrounded the capital
city. She, was guarded, but they were distracted by the main body of
enemy Draconis leaving a sole Draconis to attack the Principessa. Her
training paid off and she was able get away with minimal injuries.

After that day her parents, began to take more interest in their
elder daughter and saw that she was growing up to be a rather
intelligent and lovely (For a Draconis) young lady. Though the two
years had been rough on Kiore and she refused to have anything to do
with her parents for about another year.  She never however made any
attempt to get to know her little sister, an act that would come back
to haunt her years later.

At 16, Kiore took her life into her own claws once more and this time
with her friends help, ran away and joined the military under an
assumed name.

With permission from the Coldscale family she called herself Siera
Coldscale

From the Earth years of 2368-2372, she underwent training at Draconis
Military academy. The military academy was tough on all cadets as
they trained in both humanoid and draconian form. For Kiore it was
the first time she had ever taken humanoid form and at first she
found the process draining. Her mentor had never taught her to morph
as he saw that as something her parents should have taught her as
they themselves knew how to. She was the youngest ever Draconis to
attend the academy, most waiting until they were in their forties
before applying.

At the academy she was trained in piloting, Engineering, hand to hand
combat. The academy is much like Starfleet academy and they prepare
their students in all aspects of the Draconis Military, be it, space
flight, or ground forces.

Upon graduation she learnt that her sister had been declared heir to
the throne as no one could find her. Saddened by , what she saw as,
her parents lack of caring, Kiore joined the royal guard for a year
of intensive training. She was assigned at the end of the year to
guard her own sister. Luckily she had grown and changed so much in
the 5 years since they had last seen her that Kiore's parents did not
recognize their hatchling, now a young Draconis of some skill.

She served from 2375 'til 2377 without mishap and without anyone
knowing who she was. The only person who knew was her mentor. In
2377 she was assigned to be a  Member of first contact team with the
USS Hathaway, a federation starship that had contacted their home
world.

Intrigued by the humans and everything they had to offer, which in
comparison was not that much, though they did have extensive contacts
with other races while the Draconis had only contact with a few of
their neighbors, Kiore spent a lot of time on the Hathaway with her
unit as her sister was herself intrigued.  Spending time with both
the federation and her sister had a telling affect on Kiore.

She found herself beginning to care for the little 10 ½ year old
Draconis who was fast making friends among the children on the
Hathaway. So much so that after the Hathaway departed, She spent more
time on her duties at the Palace. This of course caused her downfall
the next year.

In 2378, a year after the Hathaway's departure, Draconis was applying
for Federation membership somewhat haphazardly. When Captain Neo
Hastings on the USS Gregory, asked a pointed question about the fact
that there were now two missing heirs, one dead, and the other
presumed so, he was wondering about the planet's political stability.
This line of questioning led to Kiore almost loosing her temper in
public. When Neo retired to his chambers that had been provided on
the planet's surface, he found an armed Draconis in Humanoid form
waiting for him.

Kiore, for it was she, informed him that she took such insults to the
family of Gemstone personally and she demanded retribution. Captain
Hastings of course declined to acquiesce to her request.  And ordered
her out of his chambers. She left, grudgingly.

The event intrigued Neo, enough to have his people investigate the
young Draconis, known to them as Guard Gemstone.  Through discrete
inquires and the link they discovered that before the year 2367,
there was no mention of the young Draconis. She had appeared out of
thin air. It had been around that time that the young Principessa had
vanished from recorded history and her family's sight.

Neo feeling prepared to do verbal battle with a young Draconis,
sought her out, only to find her in full Draconis form, sleeping in
her chamber. Startled yet keeping his composure, Neo stove to wake
the Draconis from her slumber. He was in short successful but it
earned him a cut across his left arm from her tail as she tried to
sweep away the annoyance.

Once she was awake and he had been tended to, he explained to her and
to the people he had summoned to hear his words, what he had learned.
Unfortunately for Kiore, among the people present, were her parents,
sister, commanding officer and chief of the royal guard.

Neo spoke calmly about his discovery. He told them that Siera was in
actual fact Kiore.

This shocked her parents who studied the young woman before them.

She morphed, when ordered to, into her full Draconis form, which
unfortunately for her was telling as any genetic test. The Gemstone's
have a definite tail marking that is seen on all genetic members of
the royal family. It is a star like mark just below the tips spurs.
Kiore's stood out like a sore thumb.  Why it had not when she had
first applied was discovered when she told them she had used paint to
cover it up.

In the hours that followed Kiore was arrested for entering the
military under a false name and deceiving her commanding officer.

Needless to say Neo was not well liked by the Royal family for this.
She was released and dismissed from the royal guard with a
dishonorable discharge.

Kiore was returned to the palace under guard and her parents promptly
re-instated her rank as heir to the throne. The hardest test was to
come. Facing the sister she had guarded. Needless to say it did not
go well.

L'ian was confused and angry at Kiore/Siera for her deception and
refused to have anything to do with her sister. Kiore made no more
efforts to talk to her sister after this.

Shortly after all this, Kiore learnt of the Starfleet Officer
Exchange program. She applied without her parents knowledge. Why she
did this is a matter of public knowledge. Her parents were arranging
her marriage to a member of the Jewelescale family. Now most Draconis
mate and wed for love. They believe in soul mates. But it seemed that
Kiore's behavior had in her parents eyes, did not earn her to chance
to find her own mate.

In late 2378 Kiore was accepted into the Starfleet officer exchange
program. She was selected by a panel of Starfleet officers, she
applied under a the name of Kiore Gemstone. She did not change her
name for this application and in it she told the truth.

Who she was, what she had done and what training she had received.

Unfortunately for Captain Neo Hastings, he had the dubious honor of
informing the Royal Family of the person selected.  He approached the
meeting with trepidation and planned his words carefully.

He presented himself in full dress uniform in the throne room of
Draconis' royal palace, which was a large ornate hall capable of
holding up to thirty fully grown Draconis in full natural form. He
bowed before the two large platform thrones and made his announcement.

Needless to say, he landed Kiore in MORE trouble. So much so that her
father almost fried her then and there on the spot. Only her skill at
dodging saved her from being burnt to death, rather then the 3rd
degree burns she received to 85% of her Draconis form.

While she was rushed off to medical, Neo argued for her to join the
program. He stated all her military achievements in the line of duty
for her people. Had she not, he argued, defended her own sister with
minimal damage to herself from many attacks on her sisters life? Had
she not shown that she could fly every type of craft in the Draconis
Star Navy without mishap? Had  she not been a decorated officer
before her discovery? She had after all risen to the rank of Unit
Commander and was ear marked for promotion to Captain of the Royal
guard. She was in short, the best Draconis for the job.

But by the time, 5 days later, Kiore had been released from the
Palace's medical facility, the Gregory and Hastings had already left.
Taking with them the news that she had turned down the position.
Galvanized by her father's words and actions, Kiore took matters once
again into her own claws.

In the middle of the night, she snuck out of the palace and headed
for the Coldscale manor on the far side of the capital city. She
arrived to find her mentor, P'iarn, a Draconis whom she had always
admired and secretly loved, in bed with another Draconis. This one
male.  Needless to say,
in order to keep her quiet, P'iarn gave her his personal starship to
take her to the federation. She left that very night, taking only a
few personal items, a broken heart and an iron will to do the right
thing while part of the exchange program.

When Kiore arrived at Earth two days later, she found that she had
beaten the Gregory back to Earth. Well after all at warp 16 vs. warp
9.. it was no contest.

She presented herself in Humanoid form to the head of Starfleet
academy. Unfortunately for her, Draconis Humanoid fashion was not..
acceptable on Earth. Draconis when in Humanoid form, dress scantily
in clothing that offers freedom of movement and shows basically a lot
of skin. On Earth, when she arrived it was the dead of winter. She
was definitely not dressed correctly.

Tempted though she was to morph into full Draconis form, she knew
that she would not fit into the building and would cause panic
through out the area. So, dressed in her Royal Guard Battle uniform
of black leather and her hair held back from her face by her royal
headband with an emerald in the centre she walked brazenly into the
Admissions office and asked to see the Academy director.

Shocked though he was by the sight of a scantily dressed young, well
he though human, woman, he allowed her to enter his office. He was
even more surprised when she told him who she was and why she was
there.

He heard her out and then assigned her quarters. Unfortunately these
quarters were for a normal sized humanoid, so she was forced to
remain in humanoid form for longer then the 12 hours normally spent
by Draconis. Now the 12 hours are a guideline so no Draconis feels
trapped in that form. The next day, Kiore awoke to find herself still
in Humanoid form. And not feeling any ill effects from it. Happy with
this she got up washed like a normal Humanoid and felt better. She
then went outside and looked around the academy grounds.

Here she found a myriad of races. Humans, Betazoids, Vulcans, Breen,
Bolians, Klingons, Gorn even. And they all stared at her. She was
still dressed scantily. This time in a white leather low cut top and
short skirt. And she was.. barefoot! In freezing winter.

Aware that people were staring Kiore pretended not to notice, while
taking in some of the fashions the females of the academy were
wearing. She was not, as she saw, the height of fashion here. So, she
returned to her borrowed ship and took out her stash of coin.
Draconis Currency is not doing very well against the Starfleet credit
if you wanted to buy them, but selling them or exchanging them for
credits was a different matter. Basically if you had say one hundred
Daces then you would have 300 credits. Basically triple what you had
to begin with.

Pleased with this she contacted a bank and deposited her money in a
new account. Under the name of Kiore Gemstone. Thus armed with her
credit chip, her extra Daces in a secure case and the rest of her
draconian belongings she returned to the academy. She locked
everything in her quarters and headed out to find a clothing shop.

She bought clothing in the current style and even though she found
them restrictive and very tight, she wore them anyway. She returned
to the Academy and her quarters to rest, but knew that it would have
to be resting in human form not Draconian.

Two days later she was transferred to the USS  Carlyle as a security
officer.  She was given the worse jobs by her Commanding officer and
was eventually transferred to the USS Sydney D as a Secuirty officer.
Again, she was given the worse jobs to do and she was then sent to
the USS …..

One word: Draconis. She is a Draconis. And you should beware of
making her mad. She is not quick to temper like most of her kin and
she is ridged in her loyalty and never wavers from her duties. She is
strange in that she wishes to remain in her humanoid form for as long

Hi everyone,

I have a character I have been wanting to bring back to a PBEM game

Here's a profile I made for an super-powered acedemy RPG that did not
really go anywhere.  Nikko's abilites can definately be changed or
removed entirely.  The important part of this character, which I'd
want to keep, was the ever manipulating Rajni.

Special Abilities: Can manifest ethereal 'smoke' that he can form into

Appearance: Wears thick padded clothing that covers his whole body.
He has a thick white coat with a deep blue scarf that covers his lower

Personality: Extremely anti-social.  Doesn't appreciate the
companionship of anyone but Rajni.

History: The Nikko family has long since been known for their
immensely large financial success and Kado was the last heir of the
Nikko family fortune.  Both of Kado's parents were always too busy to
acknowledge their son in any way, despite Kado's constant pleads for
his parents' attention.  To occupy their son, they gave him access to
whatever satisfied his whim.  On one occasion, Kado wanted dabbled in
occult sorcery.  Like most of his whims at the time, he did not fully
commit to the craft and was therefore largely unsuccessful.  One spell
that did work was a summoning spell he had discovered.  Kado had
summoned a two-inch long centipede that called herself Rajni.  Rajni
became Kado's first and only true mentor.  By connecting herself to
his mind, she transferred much of her wisdom and knowledge to the
young boy.  In return, she secretly took fluids from the Kado to
slowly increase her own power.  Though while this was happening, Kado
was far too consumed in Rajni and further study into the occult to
notice anything was happening.  As the years passed, Rajni had gotten
herself more and more powerful and her influence on Kado had turned
the shy boy into a soulless monster.

Anything Else?: Kado is always accompanied by a giant three-foot long
centipede named Rajni.  Rajni can clamp her pincers into a the base of
a person's skull and gain full access of a person's brain and motor
functions.

This forum looks pretty deserted, but I thought I'd give it a shot
anyways.


Player Facts:

-Your actual age or age range: 18+ .  I can handle most situations as
long as they serve a purpose within the story. I am not interested in an
overly gory or sexual RP.

-Activity level of the group you are looking for: If it is a short term
RP that takes places within the next few months, I wouldn't mind a 250+
post per month game, but if the RP is long term, I can't do more than
150-250 posts a month.

-RPGing experience: I've been playing RPGs for 4 years, mainly in
forums. I have also done some on Livejournal, Greatestjournal, etc as
well as through chats for the same period of time.

-Your simming style: I mainly write in third person past tense, with one
or two paragraphs per post. I tend to focus on storytelling as well as
character development. While I don't usually care for games that
comedies, I do enjoy games that are lighthearted at times. I try to
spell check before I post anything, but I will make a spelling/ grammar
mistake now and then.

-What you expect from the RPG GMs and/or players you write with: I would
like a RP with a loosely planned storyline, GMs who enthusiastic about
their game, as well as players who are able to write in full paragraphs
and who are mature enough to have minimum OOC drama.


This is one of my RP characters that is currently without a home. If
this works, I might place ads for my other gameless characters as well.

-Name of the Character: Isaac Groenwoud.  I'm not overly attached to
this name (I've changed it several times already), and I would be
willing to change or modify it to fit the time period/location of the
RP.

-Age or Age range: 30. I'd be willing to play him anywhere between the
ages 25-30, depending on the ages of the other characters, as well as
the position he plays within the group.

-Gender: Male

-Species: Human

-Paragraph summing up the character:
          Isaac is a healer who came from a middle class family. As a
child, he lived a secure, stable and generally happy life. When he was
18,  the local clerics decided to train him to be a healer, along with
several other young men who all showed a considerable amount of
potential. During this training, he fell in love with a fellow
apprentice, with whom he had a relationship.* When he finished his
training, he made the rather tough decision to leave his town in favor
of traveling. He did this in order to  reach more people who might need
a professional healer.
          Isaac thrives on stability, which he unfortunately does not
receive enough of. When in chaotic situations he tends to get easily
frustrated, often lashing out at those who try to comfort him. In order
to compensate for the lack of stability, he has become slightly
preoccupied with learning the social rules of every society he comes
across. Generally, he is amiable and empathetic, if not a bit withdrawn
and, well, anal.

Positions/Roles they can play: Isaac is primarily a healer, but his
knowledge of social groups also makes him proficient in a
liaison/courtier position.(although his personality sometimes gets in
the way.)

      *I would like to note that while I mentioned Issac's sexuality, I do
not want to play in a romance based RP. It is mainly listed in the
profile because I think it affects the way other characters might treat
him, as well as the way he reacts to other characters (i.e. he may not
react  when a female member of the party is attracted to him or he might
be slightly nicer to a chaotic male character if he found him
attractive.). I am mainly interested in putting what I think is a
multi-faceted character into an interesting situation, and having him
interact with other multi-faceted characters. (This is not to say that I
would be upset if a romance occurs in the RPG , either with my character
or other characters. As I mentioned earlier  I'm okay with most
everything as long as it makes sense with the characters/story.)

This is a girl and a boy I had in another rpg that slowed down and
stopped. I can make them fit into a medieval or a modern setting.

Skylar is a witch with extroadinary powers. Her parents were killed by
an assasin when she was five, and since then she has been living with
her mother's best friend who is also a witch. However they have been
chased by the assasin for years, and have always very narrowly
escaped. When Skylar turn 18 she takes it upon herself to leave her
godmother to protect her.
Skylar has red hair with blonde in it, and green eyes. She's 5'0"
which is varily short.

Chase is the assasin's son. He is a very good hunter just like his
father. But his father died of old age and left his legacy to his son.
So now Chase is the assasin who must find Skylar and finish off the
last of her family.
Chase has blonde hair, and blue eyes. He's 6'1".

The plan for these two is they meet and he tries to gain her trust so
she's easier to kill, but ends up falling in love with her, and having
to protect her from whoever wants to kill her.

I don't have any sample characters right now (my computer crashed
not too long ago, taking all my precious character information with
it), but I thought I'd go ahead and post something anyway.

I love the sci-fi and fantasy genres, but I prefer to role-play in a
darker, twisted setting.  Post-apocalyptic worlds and vast
conspiracies are my personal favorites, be the world medieval
(Engel, for example) or futuristic (Shadow-Run).

As I mentioned, Engel and Shadow-Run are my two favorite table-top
games, but I also adore Rifts and other Palladium settings.  Good
books to use as guidelines: Dark Tower by Stephen King, Wheel of
Time by Robert Jordan, and Fables by Bill Willingham.

Even if your game doesn't quite fit into this category, go ahead and
pitch it to me.  I'm up for just about everything.

Fair warning: I do not play cannon characters.  I will create a
character for any given universe (ie, a Jedi from Star Wars or a
student at Hogwarts), but I will not role-play as a pre-existing
character.

Hello,

My name is Anthony.   I am a 31 year old male with varied experience
in role playing online and off.   I do enjoy a good tale.

I recently created a superhero for a friend who was planning to start
a superhero sim.   Alas, his sim never got off of the ground, and I
find myself attached to the idea of playing in a superhero sim now,

Hello,

I recently created a superhero style character for a friend's PBEM
game, but unfortunately the game died before it went live, and I am
left with a taste for the super-heroic that remains unfulfilled.

If anyone is running an Adult-level superhero game that encourages
original characters, I would be interested in hearing about it.

thus far they all seem to be `mutant-exclusive.'    It would be nice

Calvin Rankin was born the son a brilliant scientist who had the
misfortune of also being a terrible businessman.  This led to all of
his father's inventions being quickly usurped from him by more
powerful corporations.  His family subsequently grew up poor and
Calvin's father grew bitter and dejected towards life.  The young
Rankin himself fell into a life of petty crime, stealing the
occasional purse or stereo.  It looked as if Calvin's life was
spiraling to nowhere, but then a truly unexpected turn appeared when
his mutation developed.

Unlike most mutants whose powers present themselves in obvious ways,
Calvin's mimicking abilities suddenly appeared when he got into an
intense argument with the mutant Rockslide.  As Rockslide began to
attack, Calvin suddenly copied his opponent's rock-like exterior.  In
a horror, Rankin ran away from the scene as quickly as he could and
found that the effects had disappeared.  Once the initial shock had
worn off, Calvin's sense of curiosity peaked.  He began to search out
mutants and mimic their powers for a few fleeting moments until the
boy was a fair enough distance away to lose them.  These encounters
led to many fights with irritated mutants, whose various bruises
taught Rankin that he only copied mutant powers at half potency.
Along his discovery, Calvin crossed paths with a mutant named Toad.
They had shared similar backgrounds and quickly became friends.  It
was Toad who suggested the code name 'Mimic' and offered Calvin a spot
in the Brotherhood.  Interested, Calvin accepted.  However, Mimic's
temperament quickly clashed with Magneto and a few other members' and
he was quickly exiled from the group.  Despite his failing with the
group, Calvin and Toad remained friends and occasionally help one
another in each other's ventures.

Though even with Mimic's brief introduction to the Brotherhood, Calvin
effectively became part of the ever-growing mutant community.  He
drank in mutant bars, listened to mutant music, and danced the night
away in mutant nightclubs.  It at the latter that Calvin met, and
quickly became close to, Jubilation Lee.  They began to date and Lee
even convinced Calvin to get a real job at a convenience store, to
which Mimic reluctantly agreed.  Soon after, Jubilee was invited to
join Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning.  She begged Mimic to join
as well, but he resisted saying that he was too old to go back to
school.  In reality, Calvin was afraid of being rejected again like he
had in the Brotherhood.  Mimic and Jubilee's arguments only got worst
until they finally broke up, both feeling angry and dejected.  Ever
since, Rankin has lived his nine to five life at his convenience
store.  Currently he is on the precipice between running after Jubilee
to Xavier's versus falling back into a life of crime.

Hello, I have been an avid roleplayer for years now, and am currently

Likes: Aiden enjoys little more than the thrill of the hunt - in fact
the only thing he likes more is extracting his vengeance on each and
every blood sucking son of a bitch he can. When not wielding his
weapons he enjoy's watching his sister doing her delicate ladies

women, indulging in some reading. He's a fan of snow - in fact he's
most fun when he's out and being positively silly in the snow fall.

Evirial hates visions, her brothers profession, being alone in the
house, drunks, rudeness.

Merits: Aiden is very loyal and can be caring and devoted to those
who earn it. He's courageous and charming. He's an excellent liar.
Evirial is sweet, always willing to be of service, uncomplaining and
generous.

Flaws:  Aiden is over protective and may try to isolate and hide away
people he cares for and in doing actually cause them harm. He's
obsessive, lies to those he should not, and can be very cold. Evirial
is obedient to the point of near brainlessness, undaring and afraid.

Worst Fear: Aiden, like all hunters, fears becoming what he hunts.
Evirial fears her brother's foolishness will get him or both of them
killed.

Personality:

Aiden is a complicated man. He means well but his actions get twisted
and often perform the opposite way of what he intended. In that he
always thinks he knows best, it;s very hard to win an argument with
him and while he can be a invaluable ally and a good person, you will
sometimes want to throw him off a roof top. Aiden can be incredibly
kind and he can be very cruel. Without his own realizing it, he can
be very like what he hates most.

   Evirial is a labyrinth of Mysteries. It's very hard to know what
she thinks or how she feels as she chooses to keep these informations
to herself, except when she is engaging in debate in which you can't
even be sure if she is taking the opposing view point simply for the
sake of argument. Secluded and somewhat dejected she will always
greet you with a smile. She's gentle and soft spoken, careful to
never cause discomfort for another. No matter how she may act in the
eye's of others, she is also a good schemer, when she tries, which is
rare.



History:  Aiden and Evirial did not meet until Evirial was 15. The
two do not share a father. Aiden was the result of an affair and was,
upon that realization from Evirial's Father, sent away from them at
the age of 6 years old - Much to his mother's protest. But at this
point Her husband, Darek, was to enraged by her betrayal and
threatened her life should she try to retrieve the boy, caring not
for her pain in light of the pain she caused him. It was that same
night Evirial was consummated. Aiden, sent to an orphanage, ran away
as soon as he could and spent the next 11 years on the streets ,
fighting and kicking his way into a decent existence. He pain
stakingly earned his own money and room. In this time, he searched
for his old Family, seeking his mother. When he finally found the old
house he remembered, there was no one in it. The family had moved, he
was told, after the death of his mother only 2 months ago.
Questioning the people in the area he learned more of what used to be
his family. What he learned from neighbors enraged him. They had
gotten a daughter not a year after he'd been shipped off to orphanage
hell and had, from what he heard, become a happy, cozy little family.
After having searched and searched for a mother he'd thought had
loved him, hearing that she had just forgotten him almost made him
think she deserved the fate she had fallen to. Death by being drained
to a dry husk by some vampire.

Angry, hurt, and fueled by the passion of youth Aiden moved to search
for the remainder of his 'family' with the full intention of
*showing* them just what he thought of their cozy life.

   However this warm lifestyle that was described to Aiden was merely
a sham, a play the family placed for others to see. Home life for the
family had been nothing but Misery since the day Aiden's true
parentage had come to light. Darek had become possessive, jealous,
obsessive, violent, condescending and cruel. He literally cursed and
slapped Evirial's mother when he discovered she'd birthed 'a little
wanton slut' instead of an honorable young boy. Growing up, Evirial
was under even tougher restriction and expectation than her Mother,
her father determined to stamp out whatever 'filth' she had inherited
with the female gene. As though that wasn't enough, it was at the age
of 10 that her ability to see things that are happening away from
where she is came to surface. She had been reading in the living
room, studying,  when her first vision came to her. It was her
Mother, in her room upstairs, being attacked. Not understanding what
she was seeing, or why, The little girl had simply started screaming
at the sight of her mother life being sucked away from her. The
screaming had earned her a beating from her father who would not
listen to the child's hiccupping ramblings about something happening
to mommy.


   After that incident the pair moved and Evirial was alone under her
father's strict and unforgiving watch, no loving mother to help
cushion the burden. As the visions continued her father insisted she
was simply inheriting evil and came down harder on her. She could not
sneeze without the man falling upon her, demanding to know what
caused it.

Aiden, meanwhile, encountered many things on his mission to once
again locate his Mother's husband and his sister. As he traveled he
learned more and more of vampire's and the profession of destroying
them. It was only after clumsily assisting one of the men of that
line of work that he began to take it up himself, taking the man,
Victor, as his mentor. They became friends, and then like Father and
son as they traveled together, up until and past the fateful night
that Aiden found Evirial and Darek. It was late and Evirial was awake
in her room, gazing longingly at the cross that had been left her by
her Mother when the world spun and refocused where she was not, on a
Man with dangerous intent approaching their household. As the scene
faded back into her own room, the girl rose without hesitation and
went down stairs. She opened her door just as Aiden approached and
greeted him with a dull calm.

   "Your name is Aiden." she informed him "You hate me, though I know
not why. Please kill me."

   Aiden was, as I'm sure anyone would be, completely thrown off by
this. He had come expecting to perhaps rough up Darek and scare the
two, make his peace with their pitiful existence and move on. he had
not thought the girl who was his sister to look so..miserable. There
was hardly any life in her eye's and she was little but skin and
bone. Paying closer attention he could mark bruises on her
forearms..and he realized how errored he's been in his judgement. He
practically fled the scene, leaving Evirial standing in the door way
in her night gown.

   it would be a few days before he would come back to observe the
household and get a true understanding of the situation..it didn't'
take much of that for him to make a decision. He returned to the
house again in the dead of the night and offered Evirial a place with
him, explaining briefly who he was. Evirial was skeptical and
hesitant but it was only moments before she decided anywhere was
better than where she was then and agreed to go with him.


   The trio traveled for about two years before Aiden and Evirial bid
Victor a fond farewell and settled in a heavily infested City where
Aiden could get much work done. However, in the time they spent
together, Evirial and Aiden had grown to love each other dearly and
Aiden had become very protective of his sister. As a result, she
spends much of her time trapped in the house, Aiden not wishing her
to travel without his protection. Because Evirial's visions are
triggered by great spilling's of deep emotion, she often see's where
attacks are happening or have happened,  making Aiden's job of
finding vamp's to hunt that much easier - though she's at loathe to
help him.

   The pair currently lives in a higher middle class two story house
of moderate size- with lots of windows.


   I can place these two in whatever time period you like , though I
would prefer a 1800's feel....

Hello, about two year's ago I used to be apart of the Black Rose
Role playing group, but due to complication's with work and such, I

I'm looking for a game or two.  I'm open to most genere's, but
prefer fantasy or modern day city settings, where super powered or
monster type characters are allowed.  I've played mages to mafia
thugs, cowboy vampire hunter, time manipulator, vampire, treasure
hunter, college professor or student, male or female characters, and
an ancient Egyptian god.  ha ha.  I can tailor a character or pick
one to run that fits many games.

I am most comfortable playing in Yahoogroups, and I've never posted
in a livejournal or on a website- they just look so complicated and
non sequential.  There are a lot of great looking games I wish were
on yahoogroups and they may get more traffic.

My wish list for a perfect game would be ... (not that it has to be
perfect for me to join)

-where people could post at least 2-3 times a week, but not every
day if they didn't want to
w-here it wasn't too busy, or too dead
-had devoted writers that would stick with it for a while
-where people got along without petty in-fighting
-where you don't have to have a lot of background knowledge of a
certain book or TV series to play
-I want a game first, and sex or violence can abound if the writers
wish, but be the entire reason for the game.  (know what I mean?)
-Like to avoid people who want to throw in their non-game related
opinions of controversial topics like religion and politics, and
start fights.

Good writers are rare, and good games rarer still, so if anyone
knows of a good game it would be doing a great service all around.

I have a great character for a fantasy game.  I'm willing to edit,
since the character is originally written using the Palladium system
and I usually enjoy original free-form games.  I'm used to playing
super-heroes and I can make my weak characters the most influential
member of a group or limit my outlandishly powerful characters to the
background through good role-playing.  That said, I much prefer
original interesting characters to any cookie cutter recipes.


Character`s name: Malasha Peribanou, "Asha"
Age: Unknown, between 22 and 25 years old.
Gender: Female
Race: Elf
Description:
  Dark brown hair, grey-green eyes which change color depending on her
mood.  They are completely grey when she is angry, upset, or
disgusted.  And they are completely green when she is relaxed, having
fun, or looking at something she likes.  She is short and skinny,
standing about 5'3" with a lithe, sprightly frame.  Note:  Wears body
paint underneath her clothes if she is expecting a battle.

Personality:
Asha loves to dance and to help others.  Calm and happy, she is
extremely outgoing and friendly.  She would help a wounded dragon or
share drinks with a band of outlaws.  She isn't without fear, she has
merely learned to control it.  When she was younger she was more
concerned with being a great dancer and was often afraid of the many
people who tried to take advantage of her.  Her skill in Aikido now
gives her confidence in herself.
	 She likes gatherings and parties and is always up for drinking and
fine dining.  She seeks to avoid fighting by discussing, negotiating
and she will even challenge people to odd contests (ie arm wrestling)
rather than combat.  Kind and understanding, she doesn't often
interfere where she isn't wanted and doesn't press her morality on others.
Background:
Starting her dancing career in the Kingdom of Havea, she quickly got
into trouble.  The men of Havea coveted her beauty and her amazing
skill.  Duals were fought between some of her `suitors' and she fled
Havea after one of these.

	 Still hoping to continue as a dancer, she moved to the Wolfen city of
Shadowfall, where things were slightly better for her.  While the
Wolfen covet the friendship of Elves, the attention she received was
not nearly the same as the overwhelming focus of the men of Havea.  In
Shadowfall she met a human who was very fast and strong, despite his
ancient age.  He befriended Asha.  Learning of her troubles with
unwanted attention (and seeing her wondrous dancing skill) he resolved
to teach her the secret martial art of Aikido.

	 She trained in the wilderness for years, and was an excellent student
– performing martial arts moves with the same fluid ease as her
dancing.  By the time she left her wise teacher, she had learned to
have much more confidence in herself and isn't nearly as afraid of
speaking out or causing trouble.  She fights her own duels now, if
necessary, although she prefers to talk, negotiate or charm her way
out of trouble.  She may also challenge opponents to contests rather
than combat.  She loves all life and has never killed anyone or even
wielded a weapon in practice or combat.  Her knives are for preparing
food and her hatchet is for chopping wood.  She fights unarmed and
subdues or knocks out her foes rather than killing them.  She is
extremely kind, even to monsters, although she doesn't normally bother
creatures who wish to be left alone.

	 She still loves to dance, run, play, race deer, and laugh, dancing
most of all.  Yet she has come to realize Wolfen in a backcountry bar
need to see an amazing performance as much as those in a renowned
palace hall.  She is not as concerned with her career as she was
before and has begun a life of adventure.

Childhood:  She was adopted by Kankoran after Ogres destroyed her
parent's village.  Her parents escaped, and they never returned to
look for her assuming she died in the attack.  A very physical person,
she has always enjoyed dancing.  When she was old enough, she attended
an Elven school of dance in Havea, paid for by her loving adopted

	 Asha loves to dance and to help others.  Calm and happy, she is
extremely outgoing and friendly.  She would help a wounded dragon or
share drinks with a band of outlaws.  She isn't without fear, she has
merely learned to control it.  When she was younger she was more
concerned with being a great dancer and was often afraid of the many
people who tried to take advantage of her.  Her skill in Aikido now
gives her confidence in herself.
	 She likes gatherings and parties and is always up for drinking and
fine dining.  She seeks to avoid fighting by discussing, negotiating
and she will even challenge people to odd contests (ie arm wrestling)
rather than combat.  Kind and understanding, she doesn't often
interfere where she isn't wanted and doesn't press her morality on others.
Hobbies
	 Sewing, swimming, calligraphy, floral arranging.  Dancing isn't a
hobby, it is who she is.
History
	 The Curse of Beauty

	 Starting her dancing career in the Kingdom of Havea, she quickly got
into trouble.  The men of Havea coveted her beauty and her amazing
skill.  Duals were fought between some of her `suitors' and she fled
Havea after one of these.

	 Still hoping to continue as a dancer, she moved to the Wolfen city of
Shadowfall, where things were slightly better for her.  While the
Wolfen covet the friendship of Elves, the attention she received was
not nearly the same as the overwhelming focus of the men of Havea.  In
Shadowfall she met a human who was very fast and strong, despite his
ancient age.  He befriended Asha.  Learning of her troubles with
unwanted attention (and seeing her wondrous dancing skill) he resolved
to teach her the secret martial art of Aikido.

	 She trained in the wilderness for years, and was an excellent student
– performing martial arts moves with the same fluid ease as her
dancing.  By the time she left her wise teacher, she had learned to
have much more confidence in herself and isn't nearly as afraid of
speaking out or causing trouble.  She fights her own duels now, if
necessary, although she prefers to talk, negotiate or charm her way
out of trouble.  She may also challenge opponents to contests rather
than combat.  She loves all life and has never killed anyone or even
wielded a weapon in practice or combat.  Her knives are for preparing
food and her hatchet is for chopping wood.  She fights unarmed and
subdues or knocks out her foes rather than killing them.  She is
extremely kind, even to monsters, although she doesn't normally bother
creatures who wish to be left alone.

	 She still loves to dance, run, play, race deer, and laugh, dancing
most of all.  Yet she has come to realize Wolfen in a backcountry bar
need to see an amazing performance as much as those in a renowned
palace hall.  She is not as concerned with her career as she was
before and has begun a life of adventure.

Childhood:  She was adopted by Kankoran after Ogres destroyed her
parent's village.  Her parents escaped, and they never returned to
look for her assuming she died in the attack.  A very physical person,
she has always enjoyed dancing.  When she was old enough, she attended
an Elven school of dance in Havea, paid for by her loving adopted
parents.  After she finished dancing school, she began her career in
Havea.

Aikido
	 There is no competition in Aikido, where each student seeks to come
closer to a perfect sense of harmony.  As in the center of a
whirlwind, the Aikido master can fend off the attacks of any and all
who approach.  One attempts to accommodate the opponent as much as
possible, so a person wishing to push a knife there should be allowed,
no, helped to do so.  Of course, the Aikido master would never be so
rude as to interfere with the path of the knife by getting in its way.
  And the attacker will have to follow his knife hand as it is speeded
up by the hand of the Aikido defender.  This kind of technique also
involves an Automatic Body Flip/Throw that can be used in place of the
Automatic Parry.
	 When subduing opponents, the idea is to seize the leading part of the
attacker's body, usually at the wrist or ankle.  At this point one can
either use the attacker's momentum in a flip, or, by applying a joint
lock, one can lead the attacker around into a helpless position on the
ground.

Combat:

Roll w Punch/Fall/Impact
She can reduce damage from blows, falls, etc. by rolling.  If
successful, only takes half damage.  Must roll higher than attacker's
roll.  14 or higher if falling.  Doesn't work against energy, fire,
bullets, blades, psionics or radiation.  Can be done without using up
a melee action/attack.
Breakfall
An advanced version of Roll with Punch, Fall, or Impact.  Takes no
damage if successful, only half damage if breakfall fails.  Can also
be used against knockdowns or knock-outs.  If successful against a
knock-out she takes normal damage, but is not stunned.  Uses up one
melee action/attack each time it is used.
Dodge
Moving out of the way of an attack.  Must roll higher than the
attacker's roll to strike on a twenty-sided die.  Uses up one melee
attack/action each time it is used.  If out of melee attacks/actions,
cannot dodge!  Use a parry or other "automatic" defense.
Parry and Automatic Parry
An attempt  to block an incoming attack using a weapon, shield or by
hand.  Must roll higher than the attacker's roll to strike on a
twenty-sided die.  Because it is "automatic" parries can be done many
times without using any melee actions/attacks.  Can attempt to parry
each attack.
Multiple Dodge
Just like the normal dodge, only it works against all incoming
attacks, even the ones he can't see (such as from behind). Must roll
higher than the attacker's roll to strike on a twenty-sided die.  Uses
up one melee attack/action each time it is used.  If out of melee
attacks/actions, cannot dodge!  Use a parry or other "automatic" defense.
Circular Parry
An advanced parry.  Can parry all attacks, from any direction and can
be used several times per melee.  Can block an entire volley of arrows
for example.  Must roll higher than the attacker's roll to strike on a
twenty-sided die.  Using Circular Parry reduces the number of
available melee attacks/actions to one (only one).
Disarm
Can be used to knock an opponent's weapon out of their hands (away or
to the ground).  Can be used instead of a parry.  It can also be used
when an opponent is in a hold or joint lock.  Must roll higher than
opponent's roll to Strike.  Alternatively, disarm can be used on
targets which are not attacking or are not in a hold or lock, but then
it uses up one melee action/attack.
Knife-Hand Knock-Out
Special!  Does no damage, but knocks out opponent for 2D4 melee
rounds.  Can only be performed on someone already controlled in a
Joint Lock.  Roll to Strike.
Automatic Finger Lock
Can be used instead of a parry or dodge in response to an opponent's
attack.  If it fails than he takes full damage with no chance to Roll
or Breakfall.  Roll higher than attacker's roll to strike.  Locks do
no damage unless the target tries to escape.  Escaping requires a save
vs. pain, does 1D4 damage, and results in a broken finger.  Finger
Lock only requires one hand so Asha can still attack or parry with the
other hand.  Can be used without using up melee actions/attacks.
Automatic Wristlock
Can be used instead of a parry or dodge in response to an opponent's
attack.  If it fails than he takes full damage with no chance to Roll
or Breakfall.  Roll higher than attacker's roll to strike.  Locks do
no damage unless the target tries to escape.  Escaping requires a save
vs. pain, does 1D6 damage, and results in a broken wrist.  Wrist Lock
only requires one hand so Asha can still attack or parry with the
other hand.  Can be used without using up melee actions/attacks.
Automatic Elbow Lock
Can be used instead of a parry or dodge in response to an opponent's
attack.  If it fails than she takes full damage with no chance to Roll
or Breakfall.  Roll higher than attacker's roll to strike.  Locks do
no damage unless the target tries to escape, there is no chance to
escape an Elbow Lock.  Trying to escape causes 1D4 damage and there is
no chance of success.  Elbow Lock requires both hands, so Asha can't
attack or parry while using it (although other character's can).  Can
be used without using up melee actions/attacks.

Automatic Flip/Throw
In response to an attack, she can flip or throw the attacker instead
of trying to parry or dodge.  Using leverage, throws the opponent off
the ground.  Damage is 1D6 plus any damage bonus, with the victim
ending up on the ground knocked down, losing the initiative, and
losing the next melee attack/action.  If the target rolls or uses
breakfall, they still lose one attack.
It is possible to throw the victim at another target.  If they
collide, they both take the same damage, are knocked down, lose the
initiative, and one attack.  Roll to Strike the second target.
Critical Flip/Throw
Cannot be used with Automatic Flip/Throw, the Critical uses up one
attack and does double damage.  The effect is the same as the
Automatic Flip/Throw other than the double damage.


Kokyu Body Chi, plus  chi awareness, relaxation, combat (see above)
Chi is directed into M.E., M.A., P.S., P.P, or Spd.  Each point of Chi
adds five (5) attribute points for one full melee round.  Can use some
or all of her Chi, on any combination of attributes.  For example, she
could spend 7 points of Chi (1+2+4) to raise her PS by 5 (to 17), her
PP by 10 (to 36) and her speed by 20 (to 38), all in the same melee
round.  Attribute bonuses would then be based on the new, temporary
attribute scores.

Fu Zhensong Dragon Chi
	 Allows her to "tap" into the dynamic Chi of the world.  All of the
Chi tapped by Fu Zhensong must be used during the same melee round it
is obtained.  If she is in a "6 Chi place" than she can use 6 Chi per
melee without depleting her own supply.  The amount of Chi available
depends on conditions.  Most places above ground have 3 Chi available,
places of nature like thick forests, jungles, and healthy grasslands
provide three more for a total of 6 available.  Places with active
natural phenomena, like waterfalls, volcanoes, and ocean front areas
with active surf, can add up to three more providing 9 total per melee
round.  If she ever reaches zero Chi, or is infected with negative
Chi, then it becomes impossible to tap natural Chi.
	 She can replenish lost Chi at a rate equal to the place, and she can
"receive" or "borrow" Chi from another person if they freely volunteer
and if they are touching.
	 Other Chi powers include:
Chi awareness: 40ft, a person with zero chi or only 1 or 2 points,
anyone with more than 10 points or Chi, anyone with chi skills (can be
from invisibility, body hardening, katas, martial art techniques, or
Chi Mastery Skills), anyone with more chi than she has, and the
presence of negative or positive chi in a person, place or thing.
	 Chi relaxation:  go to sleep instantly, relax in the face of danger,
eat without indigestion, etc.  Can resist the effects of drugs,
alcohol or insanity in this way.  The resistance disappears when his
chi is below 10.  A full hour of Chi relaxation will recover all lost Chi.
	 Chi combat:  automatic, takes no melee actions, each point of
positive chi is capable of destroying 1D6 attacking negative chi
points as a defense.  To get rid of any negative Chi, she must find
someone with the Chiatsu ability, or meditate in a place with great
positive chi like a wild forest, a waterfall, or some other natural
place.  Eliminate 1D6 points of negative chi per day (More if using Fu
Zhensong Dragon Chi!)

Chi-atsu Chi Healing
	 Curing with Chi involves channeling positive Chi into a wounded body.
  So long as the character is conscious, it is also possible to heal
oneself with Chi-atsu.  Each point of Chi-atsu Chi does three things
at once.  First, one point of Chi will heal one hit point.  Second,
that same point to Chi will also restore up to ten points of S.D.C.
Finally, each time Chi-atsu is used on a comatose character it gives
that character an extra chance to recover.
	 Another Chi-atsu ability is the dispelling of negative Chi.  When
characters become infected with negative Chi they cannot heal or
regenerate their Chi, S.D.C. or hit points as normal.  Each point of
Chi-atsu Chi will destroy two points of negative Chi.  Note:
destroying negative Chi does not simultaneously heal any H.P. or
S.D.C., but does heal the positive Chi so that natural healing and
treatment may resume.

Karumi-Jutsu Zenjoriki
	 The mystic ability to reduce her weight by 85%.  In Asha's case,
about 17 lbs.  Works only on her body, not on clothes or possessions,
only when invoked, requires total concentration, concentration broken
by combat  NOTE: Chi relaxation allows for concentration in combat.
Indefinite duration, as long as she concentrates.  Can fall up to
2,000ft and suffer no more than 2D4 damage.  One point for every 20ft
additional height.  Can jump 10 times normal distance, in Asha's case
50ft up or 65ft across.  Can climb any surface without fear of failure
or falling.  Can tread lightly across delicate surfaces, fragile
bridges, or china teacups without fear of collapse, damage or disturbance.

Weapons
	 No weapons. Asha has no training with weapons, cannot use any weapons
in conjunction with Aikido and has no desire to use weapons.  Her
knife is for cooking and her hatchet is for chopping wood.

Items

	 Songbook:  This wide red book has one hundred pages, with over two
hundred fifty-seven songs carefully recorded, written in tiny print
(front and back of pages).  Elven, Human and Wolfen songs are
included.  There are still thirty-four blank pages in the back for
someone to add more songs (must be written in silver).  There is a
silver ribbon of cloth which is sewn to the book and used as a
bookmark.  If the book is opened and the silver ribbon placed over a
song, the book will begin to sing and the sound of a musical orchestra
will be heard.

	 Necklace of Undoing:  The necklace has been worn by four famous and
infamous Wolfen who fought for the Wolfen Army.  First worn by a
Legatia (General) in a war against Ogres, then by a Centuria (Captain)
who fought against the Eastern Territory in a border war, then another
Legatia (General) who put down a Coyle rebellion, and finally a Wolfen
Legatia who was leaving to defend against the Eastern Territory.
Three of the Wolfen who wore it died within a week of acquiring the
necklace – all in battle.  The Necklace of Undoing is widely regarded
to be cursed.  The last owner, the Wolfen General Exeter, gave the
necklace to Asha on the advise of a wizard who counseled him to give
it to the first Elf he met in order to break the curse.  He asked Asha
to return the necklace to the Wolfen cause when its curse was removed
and a better necklace was offered to her (as the wizard advised him).
  That General has not yet died, and neither has Asha, although she has
worn the necklace for two years and has been in many conflicts.  The
reason is simple, the necklace is cursed with bad luck, and can safely
be worn by someone with very good luck.
	 The wearer of the necklace has a penalty in any games of chance or
gambling.  In effect, subtract one die from any gambling rolls (ie 3D6
becomes 2D6), or subtract 10 from percentile gambling, or subtract one
from any single die roll (ie a roll of 4 on a 1D6 becomes a three).
In other kinds of gambling (cards for instance), apply a similar
penalty – the wearer should normally have at least one useless card in
the opening hand unlike other players who many have a good hand to
start.  The effect will eventually cause the wearer to lose at any
game of chance (although the wearer will not necessarily lose
immediately- it will take time).
	 The wearer can drink twice as much as a normal person.  This
increased tolerance means the wearer must spend much more than
everyone else in order to enjoy drinking.  On the other hand, the
wearer is almost never hung over from non-magical liquor and
furthermore is immune to all natural poisons (can eat poisonous
berries, fruit, plants, no damage from snake venom, etc).  However,
magical or synthetic poisons have full effect.
	 Battle Aura at will.  When the wearer wills it, their appearance
takes on an impressive, awe-inspiring aura.  The wearer's eyes are
bright and seem to flash with reflected light.  Any light source
(sunlight, moonlight, starlight, lanterns or firelight) seems to
illuminate the wearer more than anyone else.  Bonuses and penalties:
-15 % to prowl.  Opponents are +3 to Strike the wearer while the
battle aura is in effect, and their attention is always drawn to the
wearer first.  Much more likely to target the wearer!  AWE: 13  The
wearer is +13% to trust, intimidate, charm, impress, public speaking
skills and singing while the battle aura is on.
	 The Necklace of Undoing is a symbol of the Wolfen Empire and may be
recognized by reputation or appearance.  Wolfen allies may feel it is
a good omen, while enemies of the Wolfen may see it as the threat.  It
appears to be a very long silver necklace, on Asha it hangs loosely
nearly to her navel (normally it is tucked into her clothes).  It
never tangles or encumbers and won't accidentally catch on anything.

	 Green Rose Circlet:  When she isn't wearing the green rose circlet,
she keeps it in a burlap sack with a little dirt in the bottom.  The
Green Rose Circlet is alive, however it never needs water or even
sunlight.  It is worn like a crown and protects the head better than
any helmet (random and called shots to the head automatically miss,
only a natural twenty called shot can strike the head.  Note: wearer
can still attempt to parry or dodge). Does 1D4 damage per melee to
creatures not of a good alignment who touch or wear the circlet.  The
Green Rose Circlet has a special curse of rags.  Whenever the wearer
moves, any clothing or armor tears a little with each movement.  After
30 seconds the clothes or armor will start to come apart.  In 1D4
minutes only a few tattered pieces will remain, and in ten minutes the
clothes or armor will have fallen off in pieces.
	 Wearer can perform any move, maneuver or dance she has ever seen
(including martial arts moves).  If the wearer watches a dance, she
can do it.  Any moves by the wearer are treated as "easy" and the
wearer has no penalties no matter how difficult the move is.  Wearer
is +33% to dance.  Note:  the Green Rose Circlet rags curse does not
harm the Necklace of Undoing.

	 Blankets: two, Sleeping bag, Hatchet (for chopping wood), Cooking
knives: five, forks: five, spoons: five, bowls: five, cooking pot,
wide bowl for Towa, tinderbox, flint & steel, waterskins: three,
cooking sherry, silver leaf, silver sticks, saddlebags: six, backpack.
Weaknesses
	 Aikido is a defensive martial art.  Other than knocking people out,
immobilizing them, and throwing them around, it doesn't have much long
term impact.  The only damage to opponents usually comes from falls.
Asha might leave half-a-dozen assailants sprawling or unconscious, but
they won't be down for long – a few minutes at most.
             Kokyu Body Chi lasts for fifteen seconds.  Run like the
wind for a couple hundred meters, mentally resist a horrible sight
which might drive others insane, inspire trust or intimidate anyone,
the strength to toss a Rhinoceros, or the quickness of Bob Mundin.
But it lasts about 15 seconds and then must be regenerated depending
on the Chi of the place.  In other words, after a minute or so most of
this ability will be used up, and she'll have to focus what little
remains into one or two areas for minor benefit.  She could conserve
her Chi and use it sparingly, which would reduce her abilities.
             The Necklace of Undoing is cursed.  Alcohol isn't as
effective, unlucky gambling, and the battle aura causes everyone to
notice her making sneaking or hiding difficult and making her an
easier target for everyone.
             The Green Rose Circlet has an advanced `rags' curse.
Clothes and armour disintegrate when the circlet is worn.
             No weapons. Asha has no training with weapons, cannot use
any weapons in conjunction with Aikido and has no desire to use
weapons.  Her knife is for cooking and her hatchet is for chopping wood.

	 She can be somewhat self-sufficient, yet she prefers to rely on
others (usually likes to buy food, clothing, drinks).  As a performer,
interacting with others is what she does.

	 * Break the curse of the Necklace of Undoing and trade it back to the
Wolfen for a better necklace, as promised.
