Description

Part blog, part news letter...this is author Rowena Cherry's second most favorite place to talk to readers.

Sorry, Yahoo. Most favorite is blogspot at Google www.rowenacherry.blogspot.com
because readers can talk back without a spammer subjecting us all to an unwanted rash of acne advertisements.

BIO: Rowena's youth was spent on the tiny British island of Guernsey: a mystical, idyllic setting rich in history, prehistory, and legends of faery men emerging from the Hommet Headland, desperate to mate with island women.

Aside: That is where I conceived my fascination with aliens and heroes larger and buffer and more ripped than mere mortal men!

BIO: A school chess champion and winner of the Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award, Rowena went to ancient Cambridge University for her four-year combined honors degree in English and Education, after which she taught at an exclusive boarding school in Dorset.

Aside: All my titles are chess references. If you Google my titles, and scroll down far enough, you'll be "in" on the puns.

For the rest of the BIO, visit www.rowenacherry.com and click on the MEET ROWENA link. For just the newsletter and contests, click on www.rowenacherry.com/signmeup.php. I also blog very politely at Amazon Connect, and can be found by Searching either Rowena Cherry, or under Books, then Forced Mate.

This might be fun, Gnod knows...
You can nominate your favorite authors for eventual sorting. Right now, the process seems designed to check that names are spelled correctly.

Voice talent! Sir Anthony Hopkins has an amazing voice, soft, cultured, menacing on occasion. He was Hannibal Lecter, of course. Also the butler in The Remains

Re: Want to hear me reading MATING NET?
Alan Rickman does evil well. He's been a favorite of mine since Costner's Robin Hood. When I think of human evil in the movies, I alway think of Hannibal

Re: Want to hear me reading MATING NET?
Thank you very much for your kind words, Vicky. One reason that you may not often hear an author reading her own words is that most of my colleagues assign all

Want to hear me reading MATING NET?
Last Thursday, I drove 40 miles each way to a video recording studio and read every word --all 15,000 of them-- of Mating Net in front of a camera. If you
