Description

Rosie the Riveter is a cultural icon of the United States, representing the American women who worked in factories during World War II, many of whom worked in the manufacturing plants that produced war supplies, replacing the male workers who were in the military. The character is considered a feminist icon in the US.

The Rosies are a group of swell girls (a bunch of characters!) who have come together in different ways from different places, but they all have one goal: to hang out with extremely cool ladies and have fun.

If any of the following make your heart do a little extra "thump, thump,":

roller derby, road trips that involve greasy little diners, good smells (i.e. fresh white linens), fresh flowers, anything vintage, anthropologeish styles that don't cost a fortune, farmer's markets, seafoam green and red, gardening, tea, coffee, bitters and sours (or delicious drinks in general), handwritten letters, darling bikes, retro campers, clever crafting, amazing music, tasty cupcakes, being active outdoors, travelling the world, good books, fabrics, pretty papers, dogs, cats, rainy days, lemonade, gardening, baking, cooking, good movies, funny ladies, or making random lists of things that you love . . .

then you are definately a Rosie!
