The art and craft of rope making through the use of hand tools with methods both ancient and modern. This list will allow members to discuss techniques, ask questions, announce events and generally talk about rope making and any related topics such as knots and splices, materials for ropes, machine designs, cordage, etc.

This list is public and open to anyone who would like to join. Recreationists of all time periods, and scouters should find this list useful.
