Welcome to the ROI Network
ROI is about Rotarians and friends helping to make blindness history for people in developing countries, by helping to eliminate avoidable blindness, worldwide by the year 2020.
ROI looks to attract donations to distribute low cost, award winning, ophthalmoscopes, to screen for early signs of eye and other life threatening conditions,through trained personnel, approved by our partnering eye-care charities.
Your donation, when used with a Rotary International TRF matching grant project, will also fund cataract operations, eye equipment & other eye-treatments.
In just a short time, ROI Units are working in 44 countries around the globe ... helping to make blindness history. ROI supported matching grant projects have funded over 550 cataracts as well as providing specialist equipment. Our website is viewed in over 53 countries & terrirories.
This is a District 1260 & RIBI (Great Britain & Ireland) Centennial Club Project, sponsored by Stevenage Grange RC. ROI works under the umbrella of VISION 2020: The Right to Sight, in association with Sightsavers International, other global eye-care charities, and fellow Rotarians.
