We are a Christ-centered group of homeschooling families meeting at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Middleburg, FL We have formed this non-profit support group to help bear each others burdens to families involved in home education. We strive to provide the local home educator with encouragement, fellowship, information, and activities. Our desire is to glorify God by serving one another, working together, as one body with love, and drawing our direction and strength from our Lord Jesus Christ.
The group meets weekly from September through May and offers extra-curricular classes such as art, music/drama, history, science, foreign language and many others. Many of these classes are taught co-op style by parents in the group, and parental involvement is a requirement of group membership. Occasional field trips, parties, and park days are just a few of the activities that group members enjoy. Service projects seek to involve families in reaching out to others in need in our community. A quarterly Mom’s Night Out event and bible studies to encourage spiritual growth and friendship development.
