Description
This is a discussion forum for fans of acclaimed science fiction author Robert Reed -- author of 11 novels, including the Great Ship series ( Marrow, The Well of Stars, etc) and Sister Alice, as well as over 140 short stories from 1986 to the present. This Forum is intended for fans of Bob's work to share their thoughts and opinions. This Forum will also be used to post news announcements about Bob's upcoming story and novel publication schedule, convention appearances, etc.
This Forum is sponsored by the folks behind the official Robert Reed website, and we'll try to convince Bob himself to stop in and visit occasionally!
In the meantime, step up, post a comment, a question or an observation in the moderated forum and watch for news postings. Although this forum is moderated, to the extent that we reserve the right to delete offensive or seriously off-topic posts, we have set it so that anyone can post comments and questions here. We look forward to joining you in discussing Bob's works!
NOTE: Starting in December 2006, we will be posting a message here any time a magazine featuring a new Robert Reed story hits the U.S. newstands!

Re: An echo into the void...
You can still get Marrow new from Amazon.uk, but it's fairly expensive and the shipping cost to the US is terrible. Your Abebooks suggestion is a good one:

Re: An echo into the void...
... Hello back, William -- thanks for your take on "Flavors..."! Sorry you're having trouble tracking down Marrow -- I suppose that's the curse of a mid-list
