The Section operates out of the greater Los Angeles area. We promote both ocean and river, still and whitewater trips. Communications should be restricted to news, events and questions regarding canoe and kayak paddling. Some good topics might be:

planning ridesharing for trips
divulging of "secret" paddling spots
offering used equipment for sale
impromptu trips
notification of new equipment sales
requests for information ("Has anyone
ever paddled the Puget Sound in January?...")

and, of course, questions, questions,
questions about paddling in general.
