Whoa there .. where have I been lately? Haven't
even heard about this one. Is it really about Juts and
Wheezy??? I would die and go to heaven to follow those two
again. I've got to get right on over to amazon.com and
look up the jacket on this book. I'm dying, just
thinking about this. Hope you aren't pulling my leg about
J & W. LOL
thanks

Thanks for the tip. That's a good price on the book.

Up to chapter 7 on
Cat on the Scent. Starting slow but it's building up to something.

Hi Kathryn,!!! Don't bother buying Loose Lips at
B&N. Order it online at amazon.com. its only 14.97
there. true, you have to pay shipping, but, if you order
other things as well, it evens it out! So (:(:(:!! you
may just be reading it sooner than you think!! Amy

Found a copy at the library. I'm up to chapter
three, which is mostly build-up to something, so it's
too early to comment yet.

Saw Loose Lips at
B&N yesterday. Looks like it's going to be another
good Juts and Wheezy story, but for $25? I love Rita,
but I'm just too broke to keep up with her books. :(

Hey Amy- I will be sending my email for the
sticky buns recipe today!!! But that is what makes Blair
so perfect--- Gives Hairy time to get into trouble
while he is away! And remember Fair had Hairy and
cheated on her. Lowlife scum!!!!(heehee)

Welcome amyinwunderland and mip!!! Hey we are
growing. I am practicing my Miranda Hoggendobber and
making muffins (still don't have a Orange sticky bun
recipes) hey... how about a romantic interest for
Miranda???? And I think Hairy should get a little more
interested in Blair Bainbridge over Fair Hairisteen. Blair
sounds like more fun (hee hee) What do you all think?

and one totally stolen from the CatWho one list
club (lillian)... lets start reading (or for most of
us RE-reading!) an RMB book once a month and maybe
having a discussion? We could start in July with a
mystery then one of rmb novels in august... what does
everyone think? Or does someone else have a suggestion?

I laffed out loud when reading Bingo and people
would look at me rather strangely. I didn't care ... I
was having a ball. She also wrote "Six of One" which
had the same elderly sisters as Bingo. I don't
remember which book came first, but they sure gave me
belly exercises. These two books are "laff out loud
funny". They were written about 9 or 10 years ago and I
found them at my public library. Do look for them if
you like a feel-good read.

Lumina

I read it two weeks ago and am happy to report
that the animals still reign supreme in Crozet. And
Harry and the humans are alive and kickin' too. It was
a very good read ... as usual. RMB and Sneaky Pie
never disappoint this reader ...

Lumina

nd was kind of dissapointed! It lloks like a
good book, but I will have to wait when I have $14.95
to spend on a book that has no "human" recipes. (I
thought RMB might have added a few of Miranda's delicous
sounding recipes) But I will get it put it in my
"collection"

hought I'd alert RMB fans to a new yet slim cookbook attributed to Sneaky Pie.
Forgot the name of it but I saw it in the cookbook section of Barnes and Noble.

liked Bingo,too, especially the interaction
between Juts and Wheezy -- that made the story more
interesting for me than the side plot about Nickel trying to
buy the paper. I read Rita Will last year -- very few
surprises for me since most of her novels are
semi-autobiographical, particularly the Juts and Wheezy ones.

am currently reading bingo and so far it seems
to be Rita's most humorous novel. Although I do like
that she puts a lot of irony in her novels and
mysteries, sometimes I just like a good beely laugh. So far
I reccomend it. Kathyrn--- have you read her auto
biography "Rita Will?"

athryn- I already have sent a email to RMB when
I discovered her webpage. I just finished Cat on
the Scent. Great read. Kind of has a surprise ending
BUT you will have to find out for yourself!!!
Now
I can carry on...I was going to start Bingo! but
had bought cat on the scent. Have you read any of
RMB's novels...they are wonderful. I really like the
history she puts in all of her books. TO DATE I have read
Venus Envy, Southern Discomfort, High Hearts and
Rubyfruit Jungle. I hope to find her autobiography. She is
one interesting woman. And I do read other authors
LOL!!! But I would have to say RMB is probably my
favorite!

o tell you the truth, I've already met RMB. She
came to Atlanta in 95 to promote Riding Shotgun and
read from the book. I was living in Athens then and
made the drive. She is a very nice lady, easy to talk
to, and very eager to meet her fans. You ought to
send some email to her website.

K--

just bought Cat on the Scent, And am about
halfway through it. So far the best Mrs. Murphy yet. The
only thing that bothers me and it is not a great big
thing is Rita seems to have changed illustrators. I
really liked the old artist. You are so lucky...I wish
Rita would come out here to do a book signing
(seattle) Oh well I will just keep waiting....SOMEDAY!!!
