The RING Garden (Riverside-Inwood Neighborhood Garden), was founded in 1984 in the Inwood neighborhood of Upper Manhattan, operates an all-volunteer, lovely botanical community garden (flowers and ornamentals, not plots and veggies) at the confluence of Dyckman Street, Riverside Drive, Broadway and Seaman ave. Membership is still only $10 per year and this entitles the member to get newsletters, emails, invitations to public events, a key to the garden, gardening training and the opportunity to volunteer.
