A group for facilitating communication amongst those supporting the Rikers Island Meditation Project. This is a secular non-sectarian effort to teach reading, meditation and yoga to incarcerated students on Rikers Island in conjunction with the NYC Department of Education. In keeping with the vision of this project, discussions should be kept 'on topic' and may be moderated to conform with this policy.
