This Yahoogroup is devoted to discussion of the Riders of Rohan -- characters, history, images/fanart, fanfic, linguistics, speculation, and so forth. With the new movies we're hoping for an influx of interest in this corner of Tolkien's world, so join us...

RULES (yes, we have rules now!)

1) All posts must be on-topic. Both book and movie canon are welcome, as are discussions of tangental subjects such as armor, weaponry, cavalry tactics, horse care, and so forth. We know how these things can swerve off-topic, and that's fun, but if you blatantly start an inappropriate thread (especially if you are a brand-new member and thus possibly a troll) your post will be deleted and you may be banned.

2) All stories are subject to the same rules. Your fic must strongly feature at least one Rohirric character...and claiming that your Mary-Sue OFC is from Rohan doesn't count. Sorry.

3) If you post fanfic here, you must state the rating in the subject line. Unless forbidden in your disclaimer, the moderator reserves the right to archive any fanfics you post here. You will receive full proper credit.

4) You may upload pics and files to the Upload area, but you must gain permission and provide proper credit for any work that is not your own. Older files may be removed at the moderator's discretion for space/relevance reasons.
