This group is for anarchists in Rhode Island. It is not affiliated with Love and Resistance, NEFAC, or any other organization. It is a place for anarchists in Rhode Island to post announcements and discuss theory.

It is open to any anarchist in Rhode Island.

Lurkers are welcome but spammers and trolls will be booted.

In consideration for the value of your comrades' time, please post no more than three times a day.

Useful definitions:

• Anarchist: One who believes in freedom, equality, and mutual aid. (see the Anarchist FAQ for more information)
  
  
• Lurker: One who belongs to an email list or bulletin board but does not contribute. While this list is intended for anarchists from Rhode Island, other Rhode Islanders or anarchists from outside of RI are free to "lurk." Lurkers may post, but if list traffic becomes dominated by non-anarchists or non-Rhode Islanders steps will need to be taken to bring the list in line with its mission.
  
  
• Spammer: One who sends unsolicited email. Often a list like this will attract some political sect or other that mass-emails their screeds.
  
  
• Troll: One who joins email lists just to start pointless fights. Examples include atheists who join Christian email lists or Capitalists who join anarchist email lists.
