Reading for the Future is an all volunteer organization whose aim is to increase reading science fiction by students throughout the world.
David Brin, Gregory Benford and Greg Bear expressed the RFF motivation in an open letter to the science fiction community. Essentially, RFF believes that speculative fiction helps us think about the future. As the readership grows older, RFF works to bring this literature to younger readers.
