Description

Welcome!

This group covers RF, Audio and DC Amplifiers and related electronic circuits. Everyone is invited to post technical replies, opinions and request related information. We'd like to make this group more of a nuts and bolts operation. Both tube and solid state construction techniques are covered.

Related for-sale and wanted ads are fine, which include part lists. Contact and personal information should be carefully given out and at your own risk. For the most part, spam will be filtered as best possible. Please do not use this group solely as a place to advertise things for sale...if it's not fairly specific to amplifiers and if you are not otherwise a regular contributor to the discussions, your "for sale" postings may be subject to deletion.

Yes, there are a number of other amplifier groups on yahoo. One of the groups has excessive list moderation, the other is related to Eleven Meter Amplifiers. Most of the original Usenet Groups are now full of spam and colored pill ads. The group moderators will ensure you don't have to view those sort of things here. It would be our preference to keep the posts related, but not limited to RF, Audio and DC Amplifier subjects. Audio amplifier people are also welcome and encouraged to join in.

Please, any previously printed (ie books/mags/web) text you post in the available sections of this group (not authored by you) should have the Author or source location included (where possible). One problem with one of the amp groups mentioned above is the moderator has a lot of posted text from web sites and books without proper source credits.

We hope to give everyone a fair shake. Please keep the politics down to a dull roar. There should be no dumb question possible and we hope to tap into the wide breath of our members experiences.

Enjoy and welcome to the RF Amplifiers grou
