This newletter contains my essays on the Bible and what is actually written on its pages. I am concerned with the literal word of the Bible and not interpretations of possible meanings. In a world filled with Christian apologetics making excuses for the literal meaning of numerous passages and verses in the Bible, it is important to examine what the authors actually wrote. The Context of a work is rooted in the literal words of the work itself. When one must make excuses for a work, then the work's credibility is in question. As Thomas Paine wrote in The Age of Reason: "It has often been said, that anything may be proved from the Bible, but before anything can be admitted as proved by the Bible, the Bible itself must be proved to be true; for if the Bible be not true, or the truth of it be doubtful, it ceases to have authority, and cannot be admitted as proof of anything."
