Anyone who has an adoption experience is welcome as a member of this group; adoptees, birthparents, siblings, adoptive parents, grandparents...we are all here together in one group.

Our purpose is to support each other by sharing email. Everyone has their own unique experience of adoption. This is an excellent way to gain insights and understandings of other's ideas and experiences. Share with others who are on the journey, searching or in the process of reunion.

Reunionmail does not perform any direct search function for members, nor is there any registry maintained of personal search details. Individual members may from time to time offer to assist with searches. Anything an individual member can offer to assist another is voluntary and without obligation.

All members have an equal voice to post and respond to messages. Discussions are initiated by members, generally not moderated and are mainly "on topic". Social messages are allowed.

Private messages between members are by mutual consent - this allows members to build friendships outside the structure of the group. Access to the e-mail addresses of members is a privilege and members privacy is to be respected at all times.
