Check Catalog for New Materials

Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2002
Time: All Day

Have a look at the online catalog at www.littletonlibrary.org.
From the catalog search page, click on New Materials to see what
we have purchased in the last 30 days. Remember that all
materials, including children's books are listed.
Clicking on a title will take you directly to the record for the
item so that you can quickly see whether the item is on the
shelf. Call [978-486-4046] or email
[mli@...] us to have an item saved for you.
If the Littleton copy is out, just click on "Request Item" and
the material will come from another library. If you click on
"Request Item" when the material is on our shelf, you may arrive
in the library and find that we have yet to get the notice that
you want the item. Also remember that if you request an item,
it will come. Don't ask for more than you can read in three
weeks.

Just a note to let you know that over the next few days access to the
library's back parking lot [also town offices and ball field parking
lot] may be difficult. To avoid problems we recommend that you drive
down Shattuck Street and enter the parking lot from the north end
[tennis court end] or park along Shattuck Street.

The Littleton Highway Department will be investigating the reason for
the hole that has been increasing in size in the south driveway
sidewalk. The length of time that the driveway is closed will depend
upon what they find and the time needed to make repairs.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

On Sunday, June 9th, MVLC's Internet service provider, UMass
Dartmouth, is having some equipment replaced which will result in a
campus-wide power outage between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. The director of
Information Technology Systems & Services anticipates that the
generator they will be using for backup power will keep their systems
online. However, the batteries in the UPS in use may not provide
reliable connections. If you experience any interruptions of
service, they [and we] apologize.

Try the connection over a period of time if you cannot reach the
catalog on the first try.

Check Catalog for New Materials

Date: Wednesday, July 3, 2002

Don't ask for more than you can read in three
weeks.
