Welcome to the Republic of Western Canada Discussion Forum. The purpose of this forum is to educate and spread the message of the virtues of a Republican constitution and government structure, as laid out by the Founding Fathers of America, for Western Canada. Our vision is to pave a road of freedom for people of the West from the coercive excessive taxation and ever increasing tyranny by the governing elite in Canada. It is our view that the parliamentary system of government is dysfunctional and has failed Canadians. It is apparent that the West has endured much coercion by taxation without representation. The Republicans of Western Canada realize we have already lost our country to the ruling elite, the French Nationalist leaders, all political parties in conjunction with mainly Eastern business monopolies. It was proven by Preston Manning and others that the existing system cannot be fixed! The Republicans advocate the people of the West declare their independence and break away from the Rest of Canada by forming a Constitutional Republic with a constitution protecting individual rights, most importantly property rights, for a new sovereign nation of Western states based upon a philosophy of objectivism and the rule of law, not the rule of men. It is apparent that the conventional media in Canada does not foster free speech. It is our mission to provide a forum for free speech aimed toward spreading the republican message to the masses. To avoid losing focus, we discourage the use of this forum for recycling news or venting grievances but rather wish to focus on a solution. Passionate language is fine provided a basic level of respect toward others is maintained. Our motto is to follow the KISS formula. This group will be self moderating.
