Description

............. Remember the American built Canberras introduced to the USAF during the early 50's. They were underpowered beasts with the J65-W5 engines, flame outs, those smokey shotgun starters. The early days (1950's) were sometimes hair raising, but The Canberra proved itself years later during the Vietnam conflict. Lets talk about it. Anyone have any war stories about the beast? Larry I'd be interested to know what time-frame you were a crewchief at "DET 1", as I was one there as well, from Dec '69 to Dec '70. I'm a B-57 nut as well.I

Me, too. I've been looking forward to the Canberra/57 series myself. Black Box cockpits, or perhaps Aires. Yup. I hope so, too. not a big fan of the TSR.2
