Well, judging by the flowers Spring is just around the corner....I saw a crocus in a friends yard, and a dandelion bloom....My old timey buttercups/daffodils...

Loved your story, but have to tell you about the time my son and his friends built a snow dragon... He was a gorgeous creature and not a dragon that spit...
Would love to have seen that snow dragon ! Have heard you can use food colored water on snow men or forts...and once sent off for directions on making frozen...

When I had an MRI recently they gave me a folded washcloth to keep over my eyes....Would that have helped you ? Sometimes I think we just change as time goes...
