This group is for parents to sit back, relax, and chat a bit with other homeschooling parents. There will be no "hot topics" discussed, such as politics or religion, because the purpose of this group is for supporting and encouraging others rather than to add stress to already stressed lives. Any religious affiliation is welcome, as is any type of schooling, from unschoolers to school at homers.

While it isn't expected that there are no disagreements or misunderstandings, it is expected that we all act like adults and remember that this forum leaves a lot to be desired as a way of true communication. "I didn't understand your post" is a very acceptable response here. I have found that it also fosters more and deeper conversation as well.

There will be many topics discussed here, as we are whole people who live outside our homeschool lives. We wear many 'hats' and, I feel, need adult conversation with others who understand this very thing. I hope this group is a positive experience for everyone who chooses to join us!
