The St. Louis Rehabbers Club is a collection of folks interested in rehabbing in St. Louis City. The group first met in the Fall of 2000 and was organized by local realtor Marti Frumhoff. It was developed out of a need to find answers and resources for our rehabbing needs. Soon after that first meeting this Yahoo Group was started and we've never looked back.
We have continued our monthly get togethers, held in a different area with the eventual mission of visiting all 79 city neighborhoods. Meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:30-11:30 am. Often the group tours properties and speaks with owners about their rehabs, garnering invaluable information from tried-and-true experienced folks.
The group's listserv is the place where members go daily to field questions and share information. Topics can range from historic tax credits and working with contractors to finding a property to rehab and securing financing. Whether you're interested in residential or commercial properties, a long-range commercial redevelopment plan or rehabbing a bathroom in your house, this group can be helpful to you, providing support, encouragement and reliable how-to information. And doing it for FREE!
You can subscribe to the listserv by clicking on the blue Join This Group button toward the top of this page or by sending an email request to rehabbersclub-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. The group is an official on-going project supported by ReVitalize St. Louis [www.rvstl.org] a non-profit organization.
