REFLECTION AND PRACTICE ON VIRTUAL EDUCATION

Closing the gap between reflection and classroom actual practices is the real challenge English teachers face day by day. At the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana Language Center in Medellín, Colombia, we have defined a methodological approach based on five key concepts: Social Constructivism, Differential Pedagogy, Action Oriented Approach, Learner Autonomy, Information and Communication Technologies applied to Education (ICTE).

These key concepts shape the format for the English classes in the sense that they allow the integration of communicative web based and classroom tasks, as well as independent practices that lead to an autonomous learner.
