Hi! This list's moderator and husband are in the process of adopting from China. We've created this group and been very lucky to gather some great people together from around the USA and the world who are also adoptive or foster parents. As a group we are very left wing, very open, like to espouse political views, and have controversial conversations. We welcome anyone who is not easily offended, who is not going to force their religion on people (but you are free to discuss religion), who will stick to somewhat clean language (but euphemisms are ok), who wants to see the world become less uptight, judgemental, and cruel to the small things (animals & children). If you have adopted, or are in the process, if you foster, or will foster, and you meet the other criteria, and are not faint-hearted, thin-skinned, or half-way dead, let's chat! You do not have to have adopted from China, or be in process for China, any type of adoption, and foster parents as well, are welcome.
It may not be the 60s anymore, but that doesn't mean we can't still try to change the world.

• Your full name
• Single or married
• Where you live (state or country, not street address)
• Where you have adopted from
• How many children you have and how old they are
• If you're waiting to adopt we ask that you tell us where you will adopt from and your adoption agency’s name.
We ask for these things to approve you, but we do not keep this info. or file this information, or share it with the group. :) If you are approved to join we will introduce you with a post to the group, and expect you to post a little “hello” about yourself in response.
