Reading, Berks County, PA, USA Freecycle

We're one of the world-wide groups in the Freecycle network - we cover Reading and Berks County in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Our primary goal is simple: reduce the volume of "stuff" going into landfills. We do this by helping people who want to get rid of something find someone who would like that item.

Want To Join Our Group? First Read These Important Notes!

(1) To join our group, you MUST use a valid email address, and you MUST reply to an email we send you - if you don't reply, you will NOT be able to join our group. IMPORTANT: CHECK YOUR EMAIL FILTERS TO MAKE SURE THAT EMAILS FROM READING FREECYCLE ARE NOT BEING MIS-SORTED, BECAUSE THAT HAPPENS A LOT! If your email program is over-protective, it may put our emails in your "junk" folder because we are not in your CONTACTS or FRIENDS, etc!

(2) Be careful when you fill out the "JOIN" form because Yahoo automatically checks their own Yahoo email address even if you do not use Yahoo email.

(3) Don't try to post until you have read our rules, understand our posting formats, and know what items and actions are not permitted.
