A group formed to discuss the Royal College of Art Secret postcard exhibition and sale (RCA Secret) that takes place every year at the Royal College of Art. The show features postcards for sale in a variety of media by a large number of varied artists including Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Peter Blake, David Hockney, Lawrence Weiner, Nick Park, Paula Rego, David Bailey.
The beauty of the show is that whilst all the postcards are for sale you only know who did the postcard when you turn it over after you have bought it. So it is like a huge guessing game. Some artists use their usual style to decorate a postcard whilst other hide it.
The group is set up to discuss the show, the artists in it, to pass on little titbits of information and to alert people to any subsequent sales of art produced for the show.
The group can also discuss other similar type sales and auctions both in the UK and abroad such as Drawing 200 etc.
