The COSMAC VIP was a popular hobby computer made by RCA in 1977. It made video game programming simple with its interpreted hexadecimal language "CHIP-8". This group is dedicated to the preservation of this computer. All discussion concerning the VIP, its extensions, programs, and CHIP-8 should be posted here. Posts specifically concerning the COSMAC ELF should be posted on the COSMAC ELF group (http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/cosmacelf).
