This list is open to anyone who has a legitimate interest in Rangers and Rangering and who remains in good standing.

After requesting to join, send an email to rangerlist-owner@yahoogroups.com include your real name and your association with the Ranger community (unit, class, interest, etc).

ALL MEMBERSHIP REQUESTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY DENIED IF AN EMAIL IS NOT RECEIVED. MEMBERSHIP REQUESTS MIGHT TAKE AS LONG AS A WEEK TO PROCESS, WE ALL HAVE STUFF TO DO. But we'll get to it ASAP, and then you'll be in. The moderators will mess with Roger and Wharfdaddy when they get bored.

These are the Rules:

Rule # 1 - Don't do anything illegal. Don't even joke about hiring hitmen, smuggling weapons, drugs, or anything else. As ex Airborne-Rangers, you can bet the Feds are watching our every word. All it takes is one idiot to ruin things for all of us. Don't even joke about anything illegal.

Rule # 2 - Don't advertise commercial products or services in here. Don't try co-opting the list for personal or political agendas or gain. This is just a discussion list. Discussion of political issues is fine, attempting to co-opt the list is not.

Rule # 3 - Sign your posts

Rule # 4 - When you're new, introduce yourself with a story,("There I was..."). This really helps break the ice so that the newbies can more easily get into the swing of things.

Rule # 5 - Don't post virus warnings. This is not the place.

Rule # 7 - Have an up-to-date, working, anti-virus program on all computers used to access this group
