This list is for the discussion of photography as it applies to rail fan's.. Critiques of new photographic products, digital photography, and experiences with photofinishing concerns are invited..

Listing of ideal railroad photography locations, along with safety considerations is also encouraged.

Posting URL's to web pages offering photographic services to the railfan photographer are encouraged. (Commercial advertising is NOT permitted).
Links to videos on personal web sites as well as services such as "YouTube" with a short description are encouraged.

Flaming and abusive language will not be tolerated. This is a family oriented list, offenders will be placed in "moderation" or be banned from the list.

Members may include photos with their text message. It is suggested that the original size of the photographs (In JPG format) be reduced from the original camera size in order to not create a log jamb for subscribers without broadband connections, a maximum file size per message of not more than 500K is suggested.. (NOTE: Images will NOT be archived on this site.).
(Images posted by NEW members are moderated to assure content in keeping with the subject at hand.).
(The uploading of copywriten photos by others is prohibited by law and will be dealt with according to Yahoo Terms Of Service.).
Photo's must be in JPG (JPEG) format and not larger than 1024 x 1024 in size, resolution should not be more than 72 dpi.
