This list is for the discussion of photography as it applies to rail fan's.. Critiques of new photographic products, digital photography, and experiences with photofinishing concerns are invited..

Listing of ideal railroad photography locations, along with safety considerations is also encouraged.

Posting URL's to web pages offering photographic services to the railfan photographer are encouraged. (Commercial advertising is NOT permitted)

Flaming and abusive language will not be tolerated. This is a family oriented list, offenders will be placed in "moderation" or be banned from the list.

Members may upload original photos (In limited quantities and resolution sizes) to the "Photos" area of the web site. Photographs MUST be by the member. (The uploading of copywritten photos by others is prohibited by law and will be dealt with acording to Yahoo Terms Of Service.).

Photo's must be in JPG (JPEG) format and not larger than 1024 x 1024 in size, resolution should not be more than 72 dpi. (PDF and video formats NOT accepted).
Photos are subject to moderator approval. If any photo is NOT related to "railroads", the entire grouping of photos will be rejected.

ALL NEW members are moderated until several "on topic" messages have been posted in order to keep spammers at bay to assure ON TOPIC content.

When replying to post's, be aware that ALL replies will be posted to the list..
If you wish to make a personal response, you must change the list name in the "To:" line with the address of the intended recipient..
