Hi all,
Just found this Group through a link on radionut53s' web-site, (What a GREAT
Site!!, worthy of a browse!) and just getting back into the Hobby, after a
number of years too busy to play radio(He-He!) trying to get my head around the
basics ect, and get aquainted with the fantastic interest and fun this hobby has
to offer!.

Name here is Oliver (most people call me Olly),located in Buckinghamshire,
Southern England, and call (which I havn't used for a long time!)is G1-OLY,
(When I passed the exam, I started to learn "the code", but this call came up,
and the temptation to get it was too much, hence the call - as my name).
Have the FT-902DM full line-up, which in the past I've played with, and only
ever transmitted on the radio and transverter(s), listened on HF bands with a
random length of wire, but am looking forward to transmitting on the HF bands,
just ordered a "Carolina Windom" (thought I'dpurchase one to start with, then
try my hand at building some of the dozens of designs of wire antennas', that
are available.
Anyway, exscuse my ramblings - I'm told I'm bad at that!, just an inkling as to
who I am,
Look forward to the future, and to what it brings.
