When checking just a few moments ago for the station playing country music on
106.7 MHz. over the weekend, Alan Roberts in St. Lambert found a lengthy piece
of music being played by what sounded like an amateur orchestra, perhaps
children. When the piece ended, an announcement in French was heard IDing the
station in French as "Radio Enfant a Montreal" and a mention of using 50 watts.

I started looking on the Internet and found this document which mentions about a
"Radio Enfant-Ado" project to begin broadcasting on 106.7 MHz in Montreal.

This is the same group that recently began broadcasting CJEU-AM on 1670 kHz. in
Gatineau, QC. Alan checked the programming being heard on 106.7 MHz. and it was
not parallel the programming on 1670 AM.

So, the questions are:

Was the country music heard on the weekend some sort of test transmission coming
from this transmitter?
Where is the Radio-Enfant transmitter located?

We'll keep digging.
