Greetings,

I'm looking for the programming software and cable or directions to build one, for the ComNet Ericsson Panther 600P UHF handheld radio.  I understand that the radio is similar to a Tate brand radio.  Any help or input on this will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

There is no install file. Make sure that all the files are not set to Read-Only. At the main menu select "I" for installing the Com Port thats the only thing you need the install but if the files are set to Read-Only it will not change the file cfg and you will get the error.

I am trying to run the software for the Syntor X9000, on a Tosheba
Tecra 386.  It keeps telling me "Installation file not present.
Please install program."  What am I doing wrong?  Anyone else have
this problem?  How can I fix it?

Duane,

I'm not sure if you are having same problem, but I corrected mine. I
was able to program my HT750s with the R04.00 AA version that is on
the same web site. If you are getting the 4-1379 error, the region
code does not match your software.

If you are getting the error message that your RIB or Radio is not
reponding, then you probably have a bad cable(ribless) or your COM
port is not working. If you are able to use the COM port and it is
correctly set, I would say that you need a new cable.

Duane,

First of all, THANKS for the Russian Info. I tried to program a
HT750 Version R05.06.03 with the CPS version R060.01 and got a 4-1379
Error. Is this the same thing you are getting? I wonder if this is
related to the CPS Version or the Region Code.

all things point to programming of the radio - on the "other" screen (F2, F9)  it is programmed for internal securenet and the hardware has been removed from the radio without the radio being re-programmed to tell it the audio path has changed.

I purchased the radio used.  It is VHF high band.  110 watts, secure
capable.  it has a A4 head.  The static sounds kind of like the
noise you get on a sound system when you turn the volume WAY up and
nothing's playing through it.

I purchased the radio used. It is VHF high band. 110 watts, secure
capable. it has a A4 head. The static sounds kind of like the
noise you get on a sound system when you turn the volume WAY up and
nothing's playing through it.

Hello All,

Can someone offer some simple steps to create a scan
list for the HT1000? I remembered at one point, but
haven't done it in a while, and need some refreshing.

Thanks,

You can also disable the PTT ID noise per channel in the rss.

is there any way to change the noise that the ht1000 makes when the
PTT ID is enabled or is it just a standard noise.

did you buy the radio new or used? What band (Lo Band, VHF, UHF, 800, 900MHz)? Hi or Lo power?  Does it have a sys9000 head or the regular head?

Does the "static" a carrier signal or static like the squelch is turned down?

The Mon button if held down will give you a squelch adjustment screen. Try this and see if it works. A good setting is around 7.

The busy light flashes all the time and if you turn the volume up,
it is like you get static.  it does this on the internal speaker and
on the external speaker.  any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, all other tones are heard just fine, just receiving on the
frequncies is the problem, and static is allways in the background.
