A secular homeschooling group for those of us who are just starting to homeschool and who need a free thinking group with attachment parenting tendencies.

For those of you who are just getting on board, welcome!
None of us came up with a cool name, so rad homeschoolers it is until someone comes up with a better idea :P

At a recent meeting, among other things, we talked about attendance requirements and the consensus was: Nope! not going to have them!

The general consensus about the size of the group? Keep it small for now. Cap it at 11 families until further notice.

We also decided we'd have regular meet-ups once a week. Everyone in the group must host a meet-up so we all take responsibility for the success of the group. If we have 11 families, everyone would be taking a turn about once every 2 1/2 - 3 months. The meet-ups would be focused on a particular subject that would be of interest to the 3-6 year old crowd (think science, social studies, reading, math, arts, etc.)

We will try to have field trips about once a month.
