Welcome to the Greater Cleveland PC Users Group(GCPCUG) SIG group site for Quickbooks! We will have monthly meetings in the CompUSA store in N. Olmsted. This site will feature Quickbooks topics and agendas for future meetings. The meetings of this SIG group are free and open to the public. The group meets once each month, normally the third Wednesday evening of the month from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. We meet in one of the classrooms in the education area of CompUSA, N Olmsted. The education area is in the rear,left corner. The facilties are excellent, we thank CompUSA for making this facility available to us. We will have at each meeting a notebook PC with the latest version of Quickbooks on it, and CompUSA has given us the means to project the screen image onto a large screen in the front of the classroom so everyone can see it. The meetings make no assumption about anyone's level of expertise in Quickbooks. We will discuss all topics from the very elementary to the more complicated.

Sept. 21 meeting - We will deal with any questions you may have and then talk about the issues of choosing the proper Quickbooks version and getting started in your business with Quickbooks.

Oct. 19 meeting - We will address design issues, the chart of accounts you choose, whether to use the Quickbooks 'class' feature, category usage, and tracking/auditing methods. Of course, we'll deal with your questions.

Nov. 16 meeting - The topics will include setting-up the data file, entering any necessary list data for your business, and establishing your starting balances. We'll also deal with questions.
